HELLO ALL,


I am going to have entries that are of my life and writing. I am starting this here and it is what I feel, what happens to make me feel, and how I do things to change or learn from the things that make me feel. I am doing this in a libary until I get a computer of my own. I will write about my life. I will add about my family. Some of it will get me to cry and some will get me to laugh. I do not know what I will write the next day. I will use this as a journal that does not need paper.

I want to know if I should just get a life or keep on trying to stay in touch with the man I am calling my soul mate. My husband is the man I love. I have the best dedication to all my books: To my soul mate and love of my life. I think it could over both men in my little world. What should I do? I feel like a stalker to my soul mate. Don't get me wrong, I keep my husband happy.

SORRY FOR NOT KEEPING IN TOUCH OR IN SMELLING DISTANCE ....WHEN PEOPLE DROP OFF THE MAP AND NO ONE CAN SAY WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU OR WHERE YOU ARE ....IT MAKES IT HARD TO STAY I TOUCH....

Please don't say like that! To me your writing seems alright, nothing wrong with it.
And shouldn't be the most important fact about writing be, that it gives YOU enjoyment and that it givesYOU a voice and a way to let off steam? Much less important is what others think of your writing! Do it for yourself only, if writing matters to you.
Of course, we all like that our writing should be praised and admired, but the truth is that most of us will never be "good" or lucky enough to be published. I also not.
So that makes it all the more wonderful that we have our WDC, so that we can at least write and have a few readers

It's perfectly natural for kids to want to stay at Grandma's. Most grandmas give the kids anything they want - and then they go home to where they are loaded with responsibility, they aren't happy. It's whine, whine, whine. I stopped my daughter's whining at age eight by sitting her in a chair (not for punishment - just to give her quiet time to think) for five minutes. I told her she could do anything she wanted when the timer went off, but if she needed more time to think, that could be arranged, too. (Ah, the wisdom of motherhood.) When the timer went off, she had a hundred things she wanted to do. Never had that problem again!

The temptation to shovel them off to grandma's can be pretty great at times, but I urge you to resisit it most of the time. The kids need the responsibility that you (hopefully) put on them. They need to know how to entertain themselves. They fight? Put them in bed for 30 min. They won't fight again that day. Bored? Whining? Sit them in a chair 5 or 10 min. like I did my daughter. Sassy? I can think of a zillion answers for that, not the least of which is to give them more work to do, or make them run laps around the house (good exercise, and it runs off their anger).

I do understand where you're coming from. I hope this is some help.

I agree with you completely. Although it is certainly unfortunate and tragic that so many students died, the flag should be lowered for the deaths of presidents, vice presidents, and other national leaders. The more often we lower the flag, the less it will mean.

I love this site too! don't feel so bad... This is a fairly good breaking spot considering what else is out there
