I am a civilian working for a Defense contractor called Kellog, Brown and Root, working with the military in Kuwait and Iraq. I drive a HETS (Heavy Equipment Transport System) which is an Army vehicle designed to transport tanks and other equipment, as well as act as a recovery vehicle for equipment/vehicles that have been disabled. I am working in a hostile environment at times, which makes for some interesting days at work! This is a journal of some of the experiences I am having here, and I will do my best to keep it updated.

Authors note: As of 03 May 2004, I quit and returned home, as documented by the final entry. God Bless America! Enjoy!
