This is a tale that involves some of my most loved and favorite characters. It’s been a long time in coming, and a long time in telling. It found it’s roots in the late 1980’s and stuck with me until I finally wrote it down, beginning in 2004, and ending in May 2005. It’s a tale of loss, betrayal, values, and family. It’s about a young man, Bane, who loses everything important in his life, and wishes to die. How he’s found by the most unlikely person, and taught that life no matter how harsh, must go on; and in the process learns to love, trust, and be part of a family again – no matter how bizarre a family it may be.
