Not all warfare is fought on battlefields.

That particular notion is the first principle taught to the newly minted members for The Guild. It was burnt into their memory as they trained their minds and bodies to become just as lethal as the weapons they wielded. But for a select few this meant more than words of wisdom - it was a way of life. The pathway to an oath that meant more to them than the very breath in their lungs.

They were Sector SIN.

Unlike the rest of The Guild, SIN was not a group of righteous heroes or saviors. They were adolescent misfits selected for their probational status. For them it was a last chance - join The Guild and train as they see fit or go to prison for however long they were sentenced to.

They group formed a bond over time, working together like they trained together all their lives. But one mission would would destroy them all and killed the sector from within. After the assassination of the head of their sector, the members were told to absorb themselves into ordinary life as they waited for the call to their next mission. Days faded into months. Months into years. Until finally they had no choice, but to leave behind their old lives for the sake of the new.

That is, until ten years later, on one balmy summer afternoon...
