[Introduction]
Hi Eveerybody! Remember my Campfire Serendipity Island? Yeah that sort of went down the tube.
But now I've restored the concept and decided to make it an RPG Campfire!
Here are the rules
State your character's name spiecies and bio
For Example
Name: Bathsheba
Species: Cat
Bio: Bathsheba is a cat who lives in the old haunted house etc etc
(P.S. This is just an example Bathsheba is not the character I'm role playing)
Basicly Serendipity Island is a magical place where every speices of animal lives, from cats and dogs to elephants and kangaroos to dragons and unicorns!
You play as an animal that lives on Serendipity and be prepared for the lurking horrors that threten to distroy your paradise home!

Bio: Twoflower is the matrarch of the most powerfull Dragon clan on Serendipity. She lives in the Firey Mountains with her mate Aku and her son Rainbow.:
Twoflower prowled the forest looking for prey, She had left at midnight to search for sheep or cattle or any other nummy things.
Just than she heard a rustle in the bushes. She peered through the branches to see... A man!
"Impossible" Twoflower said to herself "Humans were banished from Serendipity years ago!
Just than the man turned around and flashed blazing fireball eyes at her! Twoflower shreiked a flew away!
"That's no man!" She gasped "That's a demon!"

Species: Half demon.
Bio: Different from other species like humans and demons, Kory is a regular human male but with horns on his head, wings, tail, talons for his feet and hands and ability to change his personalities with his demon alter ego brother in him. His brother is Moy, and everythime Kory would take his special necklace off, and gets attacked, Moy steps in and takes control of his body in order to defend him. Kory is shy, kind, and a good friend. His alter ego brother however, is arrogant, cruel, and bossy to others. He is always kind to his human brother Moy though.
Kory yawns as he sits on his branch near the beach relaxing heavingly as he stared into the sky. His brother, Moy however was seemingly bored.
"Kory.... Do you have anything better to do than to sit around and relax? Why not grab a few kills and eat so im not bored! I hate the fruits on this island!" he said rather mad.
Kory laughed and turned around laying on his stomach now.
"Moy, you sure are bossy. Wouldn't it have occured to you to ask nicely instead? After all you are my brother!" he replied.
"I may be overprotective and nice to you Kory but that doesn't mean I have to say 'please' and 'thank you' every darn 25 seconds!"
Kory laughed agan and jumped down sighing.
"Alright than. I'll get something so you'll shut it. How about a rabbit or deer?"
"Just as long as there ain't no animals that are walking on two legs. Otherwise, I am not saving you."
Kory nodded and walked through the forest looking around the area. He cletched onto his necklace and continue to walk, hus wings fluttering.
"I hope I get to meet someone~!"
Meanwhile, Twoflower hid amoungs the bushes hoping that the demon that turned its head around didn't see her. She felt a heart thump in her for once and began to sweat badly.
"What am I going to do?" she said to herself.

She took to the sky and flew back home to the vocanic mountains where her clan nested.
Aku was there to greet her, "Welcome home My pet!" He said
"Can't talk! Must get to Scrying Stone!" She said
"What's the matter?" Aku asked
"We've been invaded by Demons!" Twoflower nearly screamed
"Demons?!" Aku gasped "Impossible! The magic blue diamond on the top of Mount Gorebash keeps Demons away like nobody's buisness!"
"I know I know." Twoflower said "But somehow they are here and as an important leader in the animal community I must protect my people and all the other peoples!"
Suddenly a scream unlike anyone had heard in years echoed throughout the island!
"Looks like someone has already fallen to the demons!" Aku said sadly
"We must call a meeting for the leaders of all the animal tribes and clans." Twoflower said firmly "Our future depends on it!"
Meanwhile Kory had just slain a rabbit and was licking the blood from his lips

Kory stood up and coughed a bit as he looked around the forest. He just swore he heard a scream somewhere.
"Moy.... I think something's here....." he said as he took off his necklace.
"Something.... Something not like me...."
Moy grunted and pouted in the necklace gem. He didn't hear anything but Kory said he did. Thinking of what to do now, Kory walked deeper in the forest putting the necklace in his pocket knowing when danger would be near. He steeped closer in the forest until he found a body of a large dead racoon slumped over a log. Kory was sure this animal was standing on two legs. Without thinking, Kory made a smart remark to his brother.
"Well technically I didn't kill this one so are you still going to save me?"
Moy sensed danger around in the forest. And some, in anger.
"Kory... Look into the trees... And tell me what you see..." he said quietly.
Doing as his brother said, Kory took a look around the forest brances seeing nothing there. However something was watching him! And it planned a clever trap to frame Kory for this attack. But little did he know, that the demon it was seeing was a half demon. And had a power in him. He could kill him now and make the others think the victim also killed this boy instead of searching for him!

At last The Time Dragon's face appeared in the crystal ball
"Ah! Queen Twoflower! What do I owe the pleasure?"
"There are demons on Serendipity!" Twoflower said
"Yes, I'm afraid that is true." Time Dragon's old wise head lowered in sadness
"How could this happan?" Aku asked
"I'm afraid there has been a glitch." Time Dragon said "The Blue Diamond has lost some of its power the magic was dameged by ...The King."
"The King!" Twoflower growled "All the bad things that have ever happened to us are by his hand!"
The King was the Leader of a cult in the human world, he found Serendipity while trying to hide from his enimies.
He discovered that the animals there were intelligent, and decided he could find a way to make a profit out of them.
So he put on a disguise that made him look like a dragon with the head of an octopus. He proclaimed himself the king of animals, and taught the animals the ways of his cult.
He made the male animals take many wives, and made the female animals slaves to the males.
One day Twoflower rebelled and lead an animal army to distroy the king, humans were from than on banished from the island and Twoflower became a Queen!
But that was all old history, by now the animals had moved on.
"Mum?" A little voice came from the bedchamber, It was little Rainbow!
"What's happening?
"Mummy is doing important buissness." Twoflower said "Dinner will be on in a moment."
She turned to Time Dragon "I want you to call all the animal clans from Ants to Zebras. By dawns first light we must gather by Smiling Pool!"

Twoflower picked up her sacred bow and looked at it with pride. She knew that she must protect her world from these beings.
"Im going to stop those demons. I'll do my best to defend this world from anything that threthens out ways of life. But if I don't make it Time Dragon... Watch over Rainbow for me...." she said.
She began to walk out the door leaving the worried elder dragon behind.
"But there be no leader for the island! How can people look up to a leader who would leave them to salvation?" he asked.
Twoflower turned back and looked at Time Dragon.
"Rainbow shall be King than."

Twoflower headed out of the cave ready to face the demon.
She flew over the volcanos trying to locate it.
She sniffed the air trying to catch the hot metalic scent that demons have.
She thought she spotted it by the Smiling Pool, She swooped in about to burn it to ashes.
She let out a bright blue flame and tried her best to bake it to cinders!
But than she saw that the demon was still standing! She landed ten feet away from it, to look at it.
Than she saw that this demon wasen't at all like the first one!
It was bald, had green skin, a hunchback nastu grimey teeth and a demented look in its eyes!
'Curses!' She thought 'It must be one of those fire resistant demons! I must find a rock to drop on it!'
At the same time Kory saw the creature from across the pool
"That must be Azaral's crazy son Assmodaeus!" He said
He shoulden't have said that out loud because the green skined demon turned around and saw him with glowing eyes!

The demon known as Assmodaeus began to charge at Kory at full speed growling. Before he got close to them, Kory jumped out of the way and landed on the ground in the open. twoflower can now see the half demon boy but not knowing who he was. The demon began to turn and charge again striaght at him. It was at that moment of danger, Moy took over Kory and dodged Assmodaeus.
"Alright you little green punk! I don't care who's father you are but ima gonna teach you a lesson or two!" growled Moy.
Twoflower felt a strange presence in that strange demon boy. She waited until the right moment when she'd would use her bow.

However Moy dodged it simply by turning his head, instead the arrow landed in the the belly of Assmodaeus!
Red blood trickled out of the wound...Where it touched the grass died, The green demon did not seem to mind being hurt in fact he seemed to enjoy it like bleeding was homemade pie!
Kory gasped the smell of the poisonous blood, the noxious smell made his eyes burn!
The Green Demon was so happy he was bleeding that he paid no further heed to the half demon, He simply walked into the woods and collaped in ectasy! The blood poisoning the trees.
Kory just scratched his head and gawked at the freakyness of it all "OK That guy is a freak." He said
Twoflower meanwhile ran away from the scene, she was frightened, she had made things a whole lot worse.
She ran to find someone, anyone who could spread the word through Serendipity that a Poison Demon had appered in Serendipity!

Assmodaeus charged at him again but Moy slid under him and behind him.
"Its a stinking poison demon son of a demon lord Kory! Poison demons don't have weak points!" he yelled back at him.
Assmodaeus swung his arm backwards and knocked Moy down hard.
"Than can you try and pierce his heart?!"
Moy got up and coughed a bit and wiped his mouth of saliva.
"A poison demon is bigger than us bro! How can I find his heart!?"
"Geez Moy! You are always presistant and dense!"
Twoflower ran fast until she bumped into an Eagle named Sky, who was the fastest bird there was on the island.
"Sky?! Sky! Thank goodness I found you!" she said.
Sky rubbed his head and looked at her confsued.
"Queen Twoflower whats wrong?" he asked.

"There is a Poison Demon on Serendipity Island," Twoflower said. "Use your speed to spread the word."
"A Poison Demon! Wow! I'll do it!" And Sky streaked away, screaming the news.
Twoflower flew to the Smiling Pool where a few animals were already straggling in for the meeting thanks to Sky's alarms.
"What's this about a Poison Demon?" called out an antelope. The antelopes were always the first to arrive at any meeting but they were also always the first to leave. They never volunteered for anything.
"Therer is a Poison Demon on the island right this moment," Twoflower said.
"Oh my God!" screeched an antelope and they all ran away to hide.
"Good grief!" thought Twoflower, "I hope I can get some better help than that."

She went to a hollow log , and blew on it! When someone blows on that hollow log it means that EVERYONE within earshot must come to the meeting
And so the animals gathered, from tiny ants to gigantic elephants they gathered!
Twoflower held up her claws for silence, "There is a Poison Demon among us." She said softly but firmly "Something must be done about it before this entire Island is contamednated! Now who wants to volanteer?"
The animals looked across the meadow where the two demons were still battling.
Some animals looked like they might raise a paw or claw or wing or fin
Finaly, One dragon, two unicorns, three elephants and two Furry Eyefulls voulanteered.
Meanwhile, Moy was furiously battling Assmodaeus!

The flames were almost getting close and he can feel his skin burning already. He tried to crawl out of the heat of flames but it proved too much.
Sky looked over at the hurt demon who was about to be burned from the fire! Twoflower didn't seem to be of any aid to the demon and ran towards the beach with the other animals.
"What to do?" he said to himself.

BIO: Frytuck is a renegade demon. His father was on the side of the Apocalyptics in the Third Demonic War. But the Immortals won that war and his father was condemned to stasis, a state for demons similar to death for humans.
Frytuck went crazy and developed a hatred for all demons. Now he roams the earth as a free spirit, demonic in nature, but uncommitted to evil. Not that he does a lot of good. Mostly he just lies around listening to heavy music.

Unwitingly she spared Moy and Kory who had collapsed from the heat and hid himself between the roots of a kapok tree.

"Where? Where?" Everyone asked
"On Crystal Beach!" Exclaimed the Eagle!
The Animals headed for the shore as fast as they could. They gasped at what they found!
The demon was massive!
Frytucuck was a gigantic demon! He was as big as a whale!
He stood nealy 50 feet tall when he stood up!
Right now he was laying down, asleep, dreaming of Glam Rock.
The animals quietly snuck away before he giant could wake up.
"I'm all out of ideas." Twoflower said "Anyone got any?"
Aku, Twoflower's mate thought for a second
"Perhaps it is time that we removed the spell that keeps humans away from Serendipity." Aku said quietly "Perhaps humans are the only ones who can help us with our demon investation.
Meanwhile Kory woke up to see the forest had been burned to cinders.

Kory slowly got back up and began to walk off unknowingly towards the beach. Sky was watching the half demon from the tree branches and thought to himself that this demon could be useful. Fighting the other demon convinced him that this half demon was something else.
Back with Twoflower and Aku, the two ran off towards the tower that held the spell active keeping the humans away. Meanwhile, the other animals tried to figure out a way on how to stall his demon from getting further towards the island.

Frytuck woke up. His eyes were still closed. He could hear little voices all around him. He opened one eye. There was a lot of screaming.
"Get back! The demon awakes! Back! Back!"
Frytuck sat up in time to see a weird assortment of animals running back into the trees. "Hey!" he said. "Wait! I don't want to hurt you!"
A large eagle came soaring down from the sky and circled Frytuck's head. The eagle's eye glittered. "Who are you?" Frytuck said. "I am Frytuck."
The eagle let out a long whistle. "I am Skyyyyyyy!"
Frytuck felt hot from the sun beating down on him while he slept. So he stood up and walked into the ocean. The water sizzled around him. When he was far enough out he sat down in the water so only his head was showing.
Two antelopes trotted down to the beach for a closer look. "He's like a freakin island out there," one of them said.
"Yeah, that's one big demon, if that's what he is."
"He looks like a demon."
"He sure don't act like one."

"Well I'll be." Came a voice from the bushes that caused all the animals on the beach to turn.
Out of the shadows came a fox, who's grin looked friendly enough, but also sort of wicked.
"Sly?" One of them asked.
"Sly Mcfly! Our own little crook." A squirrel squeaked then hurried over to his side to sit and stare in awe.
"Who's he?" One of the antelopes asked disdainfully.
"Oh but don't you know? I pretty much run this half of the Island." He said.
"Blasphemy!" The antelopes cried in unison. "The dragons are the rulers of this island."
"If you say so." He smirked. Then he looked past them to the huge demon sitting far out in the water.
"Sky!" Sly barked, and the eagle soared toward him. "Take me to that rather large fellow, out there in the ocean."
"Why would I help a sneaky little rat like you?" The great bird said, puffing out its feathers.
"Because I believe I may have the solution to our problems."
The bird muttered something under its breath. "...ing foxes...ink they know ever...." But nonetheless picked up Sly by his scruff and flew him out to the demon.
Sky dropped him on the demon's shoulder.
Frytuck eyed Sly curiously. "Who are you?"

Frytuck said," "Does that mean you have the biggest, fluffiest tail?"
Sly laughed. "Ho ho! No, it means I'm the boss. I want to welcome you to Serendipity Island Mister... um..."
"Frytuck. I'm an ex-demon."
"An ex-demon? I'm not sure I follow that, Frytuck. Either you are a demon or you are not? Correct-o-mayo?"
Frytuck shrugged. Sly fell off his shoulder. Frytuck picked him up out of the water and put him back. "I admit I was once a demon," Frytuck said. "But I realized being a demon sucked. I don't like any of the things demons stand for. I don't like the evil and the corruption and the pitchforks... none of it!"
Sly shook himself like a dog to get the water out of his fur. "Uh huh... I see. But... Okay, I'll take you at your word. You're not a demon anymore. But you know what they say, don't you? If it looks like a demon. walks like a demon, and talks like a demon... then it probably IS a demon."
"I an not a demon!" Frytuck shouted and Sly fell in the water again. Frytuck plucked him out and put him back on his shoulder.
Sly wiped a paw across his face to get the water out of his eyes. "I wonder if you could carry me back to shore now, Mister Frytuck-who-used-to-be-a-demon? I want you to meet the other animals."

"You might want to prepare yourself." Twofower said sadly "Humans will be coming back to Serendipity."
"Humans aren't all bad." Rudy said flexing his toes "Humans are just like animals some good..." He sighed "...Some bad."
Twoflower frowned "Is the Otter Clan still feuding with the Fox Clan?" Aku landed next to Twoflower
"You know we don't approve of feuds and wars between clans." Aku said firmly
"It shan't stop!" Rudy barked loudly "Not untill Sly McFly admits to stealing our oysters!"
Twoflower sighed "I'll see what I can do about your lost oysters."
Aku, thought of something. "Would you like to come with us when we make our trip to the human world?"
Rudy looked shocked "Why me?" He asked
"You have knowaldge of how to navigate by the stars." Aku said "And you are the most eloquent speaker of all the animals."
"Cheif! Cheif!" Rudy's Deputy Coll was calling
"The giant demon is heading to shore! What's more Sly McFly seems to be on his shoulder!"

"Alright, now all you need to do is act... um, as unscary as possible." Sly whispered into Frytuck's large ear as they headed to the shore.
"Uh huh." Frytuck said nervously.
"Ugh, and put on a smile man!"
Frytuck attempted to smile kindly but it looked sort of like a sideways scowl.
"Um, on second thought, maybe you shouldn't smile."
Finally they reached the shore and Sly slid down Frytuck's arm and onto the sandy beach.
"I knew it!" Came a shrill voice.
Sly looked around to see Rudy, the otter, pointing his small furry paw at him.
"Now it all makes sense! Sly brought the demons!" He cried hesterically.
Sly frowned. "I'm sorry to admit but I'm not that powerful, friend."
"Don't call me friend!" Rudy cried. "And if you didn't bring the demons, then why is that one sitting over there!" He pointed towards Frytuck.
"Enough!" Aku boomed as he and Twoflower landed.
"Who are you, demon, and why are here?" Aku asked firmly.
"Actually, he's an exdemon." Sly said.
"Quiet, thief. We'll deal with you later." Twoflower hissed.
"Of course-" he said, then added sarcastically, "-your majesty"
Rudy jumped at him but was caught by the tail by Sky.
"Alright, Frytuck." Sly said, waving his paw grandly. "Why don't you introduce yourself?"

For just a brief moment Frytuck thought of sweeping all the animals up in his arms and eating them but he caught himself. No, that's the old bad me. I don't do things like that anymore.
"Greetings, little animals!" Frytuck said. "I come in peace. I was once a demon but I am no more. Now I am just another peaceful creature like you. My name is Frytuck."
"See?" Sly said. "He's a reformed demon. He might be very useful to us."
Rudy had his hands on his hips. "How do we know he's reformed? Just because YOU say so, Sly? You aren't qualified to know."
"Stop the squabbling," Twoflower said. "Sometimes this is a democracy. Let's find out what everybody thinks. How many animals think Frytuck is on the level, that he's an ex-demon and poses no harm to us? Raise your paw, hoof, or flipper if you agree."

Then, almost every animal turned around and pointed their weapon at Kory. He just stood there almost scared out of his wits and unknowingly what not to do.
"Hey hey hey! I wasn't here to fight!" he yelled.
Frytuck and Sly looked down on the half demon human and shrugged a bit. They thought he wasn't strong from where they stood.
"Who's this half demon?" asked Frytuck.

Sly walked over to Kory, not at all afraid.
"Hello, Mr. half-not-a-whole-demon." Sly said, walking right in from of Twoflower's bow. "My name is Sly Mcfly, may I have the pleasure of knowing yours?"
"K-kory." He said, looking nervously around him.
"Well, then let me be the first to welcome you to Serendipity Island, Kory!"
"See?" Rudy said. "He must have had something to do with the demons coming to our island. Otherwise why would they be so friendly towards him?"
Sly turned towards Rudy. "They are being nice, because I'm being nice. You should try it some time."
Rudy growled but Sly ignored him and turned back to Kory. "So, what exactly is your business here, sir?"

There was a gasp from the nearby animals. Kory realized what he said. "I mean... I used to kill rabbits. Now I just pluck a pear from a pear tree or pull up a carrot." He could sense Moy gagging inside him.
Sly cocked his head to one side. "But where did you come from? How did you get here?"

"It matters not where I come from. Im banished from my home. Where I come from, humans and demons were forbidden to fall in love. My mom, the human fell in love with a demon and they married under the Forever Waterfall.At first, they thought they were getting a twin. But each time after my birth, my alter ego spirit brother Moy, always come out whenever im in danger or whenever he feels like. He was infused with me because of a different spirit in me. Me and Moy can't control it and we swap everytime so dad had to make a necklace where we switch whenever I take it off. Its marked by my mother." he explained.
Sly nodded a bit but didn't interrupt.
"Go on. If you wnat to continue." he said.
Kory sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.
"It wasn't until my people found out about the marriage and they drove my parents away. But they swore to kill me because of their treason. That was mearly a year ago. They quietly at night brought me aboard a raft. That's when I came here a year later. I traveled places to places until I came here. I fear I am still hunted. Im just lucky the demons don't know the same thing." he whispered.

She turned to Frytuck "No offense Mr Frytuck."
"None taken." Frytuck said
"Sly." Twoflower said "Take this young half demon to some comfortable living arangements, preferably away from your Clan's land."
"Yes." Was all Sly said and he led Kory away
"Alright." Twoflower sighed "We've got demons both friendly and not so friendly."
She turned to Frytuck "Do you think you can help us fight the enemy Demons?"

"Here you are." Sly said, pointing to a den in the ground.
"Um... I think I'm too big for that." Kory replied.
"Not at all, friend! Crawl in and you'll see."
Kory looked doubtful, but got on his knees anyway, and squeezed himself, with some difficulty, through the hole. What he found was not at all what he expected.
Through the small opening was a huge cave. Filled with all sorts of stuff. Rocks, shells, leaves, fruit, and various other things that Sly had "acquired", throughout his years.
Kory seemed frozen in shock.
Sly pointed his paw in the direction of a large cushion. "Make yourself at home."

Frytuck answered Twoflower's question. "I don't plan to devote my life to fighting, either demons or humans or animals. I believe in peace and harmony and everybody getting along with each other."
Twoflower was impatient. "Of course! We all believe in that! But what do you do when your home is invaded and your children are murdered? Do you just smile and say: Can't we all just get along?"
"I don't have a home," Frytuck said.
"Yes, you do," Twoflower said. "Where you live is your home and if you are going to live on Serendipity Island then I think you should help us with our problems."
Frytuck didn't say anything.
Twoflower looked him up and down. "You think about what I said, Mister Frytuck. Think seriously about it. I'll be waiting for your answer."

They began to build a boat with which to venture into the human world and seek Humanity's help.
Rudy and his otter clan helped as well.
"We're almost ready." Twoflower said "As soon as we set out to sea we will head east toward Ireland."
Sly spyed on them without their knowaldge he smiled to himself
"So Twoflower and Aku are leaving eh?" He smiled and walked away with his brush held high

"What!? Without the dragons... what are we to do!" An antelope cried.
"Well...." Sly hesitated. "I do have something that we could try..."

Twoflower and Rudy and a the rest of their small crew battled the waves with their tiny ship.
"This is harder than I thought it would be," Rudy said. "The ocean is a lot rougher than the lagoon on Serendipity Island."
"Yes," Twoflower said, "you are in the big world now. Prepare to be amazed."
"Have you been to Ireland before?"
"Oh yes, I've been many places. Ireland is a land of green hills and little people called Leprachauns that hide gold in big iron pots at the ends of rainbows."
Rudy cocked his head. "Really?"

"Oh yes. But you haven't seen anything yet." she said.
"What else is there?" Rudy asked.
"Lets see.... Sometimes there are urban places with lots of people. They say its more fun there but it can be sometimes dangerous. Though there are always fun events they hold at the plaza."
Rudy smiled still gripping hold on a rope to keep the ship steady. He wished that he can see the place when he gets there. It will be very exciting for him. Meanwhile, Kory laid back relaxed in the small cave all to himself trying not to worry about the demons coming. Though he can't, and Moy could sense that one was nearby. But this one was familiar only to Moy. His eyes popped up and gasped as he tried to call out Kory's name. But he was a sleep.
"Kory? Kory!! Wake up you bag head for rocks!" he yelled from his necklace.

"It's a Wart Demon!" Moy said.
Kory's eyes popped open. "Huh?"
The Wart Demon was quietly reaching out a long bony finger to touch Kory on the arm. Wherever the Wart Demon touched, a wart would grow.
Kory jumped back. "Hey! Get out of here!"
"I was just trying to wake you up," the Wart Demon said. "No harm intended. I have a message from Mataalph, Prince of Demons."
"Which one is he?" Kory said. "There's like a hundred different demon princes, aren't there?"
"Mataalph is wise and powerful," the Wart Demon said.
"OK, I can see you are one of his lackey's, willing to kiss his boots even when he's not around. What's the message?"
"Mataalph is concerned that one of his minions is missing. Assmodaeus is the minion's name. Do you know anything about it?"
Kory remembered the Assmodaeus incident. "Uh... um... no, not really."

Thw Wart Demon snorted and leaned over and frowned at him.
"Your Alter Ego Brother seems... Untrustworthy." he said.
Kory and Moy both looked up shocked. How did he know about their ability? Moy was very uneasy a bit, feeling that there may be something that this demon wanted.
"Listen. were no longer apart from any realms or worlds there are! Were neutral! Why won't you just leave us alone!" yelled Kory.

"What has happened to this place?!" She gasped
When she first visited Ireland it was a pictureesque land full of forests and meadows...The humans lived in stone castles and thatched roof cottages.
Now towers of steel and glass scraped the sky. The land was filled with iron roads and it smelled like a toxic spill.
I'm afraid that on Serendipity Island the magic waters that flow through the island have special properties that can leanghan life to many more years. It does not make one immortal but you can live for a couple thousand years and still be young.
Meanwhile Sly was searching for Frytuck

"I be up to nothing much," Sly said. "Why be we talking funny?"
"Ah, no reason. I was reading a story about Ye Olde Times and some of the talk rubbed off on me."
"You can read?"
"Of course I can read. Back when I was officially a demon I went to Demon School. Why does everyone think demons are dumb?"
Sly sighed. "I don't know. But you think you have a problem? I'm a fox and everyone thinks I'm smart. Smart as a fox! I cringe every time someone comes up to me with their algebra homework. It's not that kind of smart!"
Frytuck laughed. "Don't worry, Sly. I know you're not so smart."
Sly looked hard at Frytuck. "Right. But let me tell you why I have been looking for you..."

"Then we might have to find someway to stop them from coming back." he siad.
"And that half demon? He might get suspiciouse. And I don't trust him."
"Then we might have to shut him up. In a prison. TwoFlower's older daughter wouldn't suspect a thing and probably wouldn't listen to him."
