MidKnight~Chivalry    Name: Talon Tempest

Sex: Male

Age: 25

Skills: Wind magic/manipulation, uses the wind to see because he’s blind.

Species: His father was human and his mother was either an air elemental or a goddess with a sky affinity.

Description: Wild black hair that falls just above his dark blue eyes, if you look at his iris even in pitch black you can see what looks like a small star glowing within each of his irises. Most think it is the cause of his blindness. He has a lean but very muscular build that is showed off by tight tee shirts and slim fit jeans. He’s a bit of a pretty boy and he knows it, this almost inhuman attraction is most likely a gift (or a curse) from his mother’s side of the family.

Scars: none

Weapons: None, he fights with a combination of wind based attacks and an uncanny knack for dodging attacks based on changes in the air around him.

Special objects: A ring with the soul of a cat deity trapped inside, as long as she stays within twenty feet of Talon she can possess nearby felines and act through them. Temporarily allowing the cat body to speak and do several other deity like things.

Temperament: Talon is usually extremely laid back laughing and smiling at everything. He will rarely ever get mad but when he does you better hold onto something because he’s been known to summon gale force winds out of anger on accident.

Lonewolf - Catching up    Name: Griffin Maddox

Age: 30

Race: Werewolf/Shape-shifter

Scars: Jagged cut that begins on his forehead over his eye and down the front of his face. It has healed to the point of a light well defined line.

Skills: Tracking, basic hacking, adaptability, works well with his hands

Description: Given his chosen profession he has a well defined muscled frame, standing tall at 6'2. Griffin has striking blue eyes with long straight black hair that touches his shoulders. He has a strong chiseled jaw that can always be seen with a rugged five o’clock shadow. Griffin wears a variety of trench coats usually black with black cargo pants, black steel toed boots, and corresponding black shirt. When in his wolf humanoid transformation he grows five inches taller with black silky fur. When Griffin fully transforms it is into a large seven foot tall wolf about the size about the size of a mini van. In this form he has a beautiful black silk coat.

Weapons: Griffin uses anything he can get his hands on, but usually uses his claws when in his wolf humanoid transformation. When fully transformed he uses his teeth and claws to dispose of his enemies.

Temperament: Griffin is usually laid back to a point, and doesn’t take much lip off anyone. His loyalty like his friendship is earned not freely given. His motto is he’ll trust a person as far as he can throw them and not in that order.

Special objects: The only things that are of significance to him is a ring he wears on his ring finger given to him by a witch. It is imbued with elemental wards. The ring matches that of a necklace he wears around his neck where a matching ring rests. When both are worn together he is able to control and be protected from the element of water.

MidKnight~Chivalry    Talon… Hey Talon wake up! a familiar voice echoed in Talons throbbing head.
“Theres no need to shout, its not like I cant hear you directly in my head…” Talon responded his mind felt like mush. “Where are we? Do I hear bars? Are we in a jail cell?” Talon asked questions aloud more for himself than the cat Deity. His mind rapidly clearing as adrenaline pumped its way through his veins. As his fight or flight instinct kicked in the winds picked up, to anyone else but Talon this would be of little importance but Talon was blind and relied heavily on the wind to perceive his surroundings. Using the wind to “feel” things around him. Already Talon had a mental picture of his cell and a vague mental image of the cells on either side of him. There was a person in each of the cells next to him both of which based on their breathing had not woken up yet.
I don’t know what happened, last thing I remember was us trying to follow a lead on my body and then I woke up a few minutes before you did. There aren’t any cats nearby so I cant investigate, so you probably know more than I do right now with your freaky wind powers.
“All I know is that whoever locked us up in nowhere nearby and the people in the cell on either side of us are still asleep, I say we wake them up and find a way to coordinate an escape.”
what if there locked in here for a reson?
“All I know is the enemy of my enemy is my friend, besides I think were underground so there wont be much wind to manipulate down here. So the plan is strength in numbers…” Talon finished stirring up the winds as much as he could muster underground. Which turned out to be more than he thought because the sheets of his bed and his mattress began to fly around his cell…

Kayna-amy    Gail was aware of the smell before anything else and the fact that her wrist was seemingly locked together.

cheesecaketops     ((This is slightly different than the one I accepted the invite to the campfire. Hope it’s okay *Bigsmile*))

Name: Raven Summers
Age: 24
Race: seemingly human with supernatural powers
Scars: an odd symbol sketched on her back that no one knows about due to its location
Skills: The monks in a secluded temple raised and taught Ruby the righteous way of living and fighting techniques. Unknowingly to the monks, Ruby also possessed the ability to control objects by their shadow, making them do whatever she wants. It also works on animals and humans, but takes much more effort and it doesn’t work all the time. She uses this inhuman power seldom because every power comes with a price. Sometimes she gets unbearable headache afterward and a sensation that something is clawing its way out from inside her.
Description: The monks named her Raven from her silky dark locks; the first thing they noticed when they found her at the temple’s door on a summer night. She’s petite with fair skin and brown eyes, which usually hidden under a tan cloak from head to toes.
Weapons: A spear that she tweaked to be able to tri-fold and carried them in her boots. She also uses flying daggers and maneuvers them by controlling their shadows; bonus, she hardly gets side effect afterward.
Temperament: Although the monks taught her to be compassionate with open heart, Ruby is quiet and aloft. It takes awhile for her to warm up to people. Once she does, she’s loyal, helpful and accommodating. However, she can be stubborn and hard-headed when her mind is set on something.
Special objects: She wears a jade pendant in an odd shape (that matches the scar on her back), something she clutched onto when the monks found her.

A dark hooded figure stirred in the corner behind the bars. She squinted to adjust her eyes to the darkness as she mumbled, “Mm. Ugh. Where am I?” For a split second, she thought she was in her room and she was on her bed; but as the place became more visible, she was definitely sure she was in a foreign place. The room looked more like a jail cell with three walls with a bars on one end.

“How did I get here?” she talked out-loud, trying to recollect how she got there. “I was fetching water down the stream. Something was following me but I couldn’t see what it was. I didn’t even see a glimpse of its shadow when it ambushed me from behind and I blacked out; awake in this eery place.” She got out of bed, walked over the bars and starred down the long empty dark hallway. There were rooms similar to hers on both sides.

The wind unnaturally picked up. She heard a low voice from one of the other cells then a racket of things slamming before everything stopped. She cleared her throat and called out, “Who’s here?”

Kayna-amy    Gail felt the air around her move. Her nose told her that there was another wolf and what smelled like humans in the cells around her. The smells of this place wanted to make her retch and gag. She phased to wolf, the shackles falling from her limbs. She tried reaching out with her mind to those in the other cells. "Can you hear me? Where am I? How did I get here?" She was aware that the others were also feeling confusion.

Gail, being what she is had no trouble seeing her surroundings in the darkness around her. She swore in her home tongue mentally when a search around the cell showed no evidence of her gear. As another breeze of wind whirled around her she ask half sarcastically aloud, not really expecting an answer. "Now how the hell do I get out of here"

Lonewolf - Catching up    Griffin awoke to the sound of wind moving about somewhere nearby. It was simple fact that what he was lying on felt nothing like the warm comfortable bed in his apartment. He became aware that he was on a floor of some kind, and opening his eyes he was pleased to a point to find he was indeed right. He slowly got to his feet then grabbed a hold of the bars attempting to pull them apart by shear strength alone. Unfortunately, Griffin found that no matter what he did they wouldn’t budge. He then checked his surroundings to see if he had room to transform but found his cell was far too small to even think about anything like that.

“Who’s there?” a clear feminine voice asked.

A mind much like his own attempted to touch his, but it felt so confused. Griffin didn’t care for people talking with him telepathically unless it was a more intimate situation, or if he gave them permission first. He decided to address those who were in the cells next to him vocally, while sending a mental block up for any other attempts by others to touch his mind.

“My name is Griffin, do any of you know who put us in these cells?”

cheesecaketops    ((Apologize for mixing up my character’s name in the bio *Pthb* I changed my mind about her name at the last minute and forgot to change all of her names...))

Raven felt an invisible force vibrated in her head as soon as her voice echoed down the hallway. Get out of here, she snapped and closed her mind, something she learned and mastered from the monks through meditation. She already had to suppress many thoughts in her head; she didn’t need another one from some random stranger in this dungeon.

She pressed closer to the wall when she heard a low voice introduced himself. “Griffin?” she echoed. “No. I don’t know who puts me here.” She wanted to add, Would love to. To give them a good pay back! But she kept her though to herself. “I’m Raven. Does anyone have a light?”

Raven examined the lock on the bars and muttered, “Only if I get some light through the keyhole, I can prey it open.”

MidKnight~Chivalry    Hey there’s only room for one of us in here! The cat deity fumed pushing the intruder out of Talons head.
“Hang on their kitten, maybe it’s one of my cell mates.” Talon chuckled before mentally responding.
Hey there, Talon Tempest at your service. As for your other questions im in the same boat as you, I just woke up about I minute ago…. Talon was cut off by the sound of two more voices.
“Does anyone have a light?” A female voice asked
“Ive got some matches.” Talon called throwing them out of his cell and guiding them to the right cell with a streamline of wind. “I don t know if this is the best time for a smoke though…”

Kayna-amy    Gail phased to human with difficulty. It would not do to reveal her wolf. She has survived too long to get careless now. She reached out to Talon telepathically. "I'm Gail." Then she spoke out loud. "I can do with a smoke....and a strong cup of black coffee." Gails stomach growled, reminding her that it has been a few days since she eaten a decent meal. Somehow beef jerky did not fill her much.

Her inner wolf was a bit grumpy. She felt the hunger even more keenly than Gails' human side did and she had to will her wolf to be patient when a fat rat ran over her boot. Tactically it never paid to show all you were capable of. And as she lost all her weapons, her warrior instinct told her that if her captors didn't know that she was able to phase to a wolf, they might be careless. And then there was a change to escape.

Gail and her wolf knew how to be patient. She might be young in age but she has had her fair share of life lessons, Some left their marks on her, physically and mentally. "I will protect you." Her inner wolf whispered in her head and Gail smiled slightly. "Does anybody have a piece of wire by any chance? I'm afraid the bastards took my kit so I can't pick the lock."

cheesecaketops    A soft chuckled escaped Raven’s lips when she heard someone’s comment about smoking. “Smoking is forbidden in the temp-oh, fantastic!” she praised and reached out between the bars as soon as the matches were within reach.

The matches seemed to just fly into her hand with some sort of invisible force. “Nice throw,” she complimented and noted how odd the projection was. She made no comment and concentrated on the more important task at hand. She scrapped the tip of a match against the rough concrete ground to ignite flame. She then held it on the outside of the lock while she looked through the hole from the opposite end. She pulled the hood off her head and closed one eye to get a better look at the mechanisms inside the lock. She found the shadow of the key component and concentrated her mind to pick the lock from within.

The other female voice introduced herself as Gail and started some sort of small talk with the match-man. Raven barely listened to their conversation and more focused on the lock. Click. Then followed by her exciting exclaim, “Yes!” The metal lock fell to the ground and the door opened with irritating loud screeches.

She darted down the dark hallway and stopped at the first occupied cell. Without introduction, Raven immediately lit another matches and repeated her trick with the lock. She didn’t care who it was inside the cell, she just wanted to help them out; the monks taught her to save any living soul regardless of their motivation. Once she successfully picked the lock, she moved onto one cell after another to slowly work her ‘magic’.

It took her awhile but with concentration and patient she learned from the monks, she was determined to unlock all necessary cells and didn't stop until she reaches the goal.

((So who's deciding the reason behind the captures??))

Lonewolf - Catching up    Griffin paced the cell thinking about all the possibilities of how to break out when he felt an insignificant weight on his chest. He touched his black T-shirt-covered chest with a snake curling itself around a white smirking skull to find his necklace was still on. A sigh escaped his lips as the thought of his love entered his mind taking him back to the day he lost her. The last thing she said to him was that she loved him more than life itself.

“Damn, Red. Why did you have to go and leave me here?” He said, to himself as he tugged the necklace over his head from around his neck

As Griffin unclasped the necklace, he took a moment to read the engraved words. Os presento la propiedad del agua Que nuestra reflejar el amor el elemento. He knew the glyphs gave him the ability to control any, and all water as he saw fit. Yes, it helped that he was a shape shifting werewolf, but when you fall in love with a witch who wants to protect you. Being in a relationship with a witch tends to get you certain perks, and this was only one of the many.

After taking the ring off the silver chain, he placed the ring on his left-hand finger. The feel of it took him back to a time when his love presented it to him. Griffin smiled as he felt the power of the ring take effect. He could sense the water in the air, and the pull of the power on his senses. He needed to concentrate. It had been a while since he last used the ring, He concentration was broken when he heard footsteps somewhere above the cell he was in.

"Hey, guys? There seems to be company coming our way." Griffin warned.

He then heard the faint click of his cell door opening.

cheesecaketops    “There! Done,” Raven whispered and clapped her hands together when she picked the last lock. The cell door opened as the prisoner warned about new company. By his voice, she remembered he had introduced himself as Griffin. She pulled the hood over her once again and sunk her head into its shadow as she debated the fight-or-flight mentality in her mind.

She tucked away the peaceful teaching as she reached for clubs from her boots and twisted them together to make a long wooden rod. This wasn’t the time to talk civilly, and she was kidnapped after all. So naturally, she resorted to fight-first-talk-later; she didn’t have to explain actions since no monk was there to scold her. “It’s time to find out who put us here,” she said as the footsteps drew nearer and echoed louder from the stairwell.

Raven charged forward at the first glimpse of a shadow. She went for the knee first to immobilize him. Then she swung the rod over her and back around, connecting his neck with a powerful force and. He didn’t know what was coming until he was pinned against the wall by his neck with a dangling leg. “Who are you? What do you want? Where’s your master?” she questioned, concluding that he must be the mastermind since he was too easy to defeat.

Jake Striker    The man then waved his hand ,Raven was immobilized he said "Well a rather nice greeting for the person who tries to rescue you well you guys are a group arent you i had figured i might be sent here for a reason though well im going to introduce myself but first" at this point the strange man waved his hand in the air and muttered an unheard word and then fire shot from his hand and he held it right in his hand he said "My name is ward im a mage i was sent here by a stranger who payed me to come here and rescue whoever was trapped here and help them as i am a man of my word i came here so now i that thats out of the way i can unfreeze this young woman and you to can begin introductions as i have told you who i am and why i am here so if you would be so kind as to tell me how you end up in this mess and we can leave this retched dungeon"

Kayna-amy    Sister Wolf growled inside when the cell door clicked open. She disliked not knowing things that are important to her survival. Gail sat on the filthy floor and closed her eyes. She mentally tried to recall the last day but could not. Her eyes flew open and she swore aloud in her home language, now beyond angry.

"Someone wiped my memory. The last thing I can remember was ordering steak at this restaurant." Gail took a deep breath silently urging Sister Wolf to calm down. Her control was shaky. "I'm Gail Lawrson." She introduced herself. She stayed where she was. She would need all her control before walking out that cell door. She could feel Sister Wolf, one wrong move from any one could set her off.

The fact that someone violated her mind without her consent was beyond upsetting. She swore that no one would ever have that much power over her when she walked away from her family and a stranger wiped her memory. Gail froze.....what if it wasn't a stranger? That thought caused her to sweat and Sister Wolf to growl loudly. Gail felt her perilous control slip and Sister Wolf took over control. But they staid in human form.

She got up and walked out of the cell and leaned against a wall waiting for the others to step out of the other cells.
