For this campfire you take on a character from an anime or something similar then let them loose in a fantasy Japan! One of the characters is evil, who is it? You won't find out until the end! ^_^

You don't have to follow from the last addition but try and stay within the same day.

This campfire is full! ^_^

Have fun with it!

mirror on the wall
Anime: D.N. Angel
*~Name: Daisuke Niwa

Description: A fourteen year-old boy with fairly long, red untidy flowing hair and bright ruby eyes. Daisuke owns a cute fluffy pet. When Daisuke and Uzumi (the cute pet) touch they will combine and cause Daisuke to grow wide black
wings.
Daisuke is The Dark Phantom Thief and takes responsibility of taking this role at the age of fourteen. Daisuke then changes into the legend of The Dark Phantom Thief. The Dark Phantom Thief has the look of an eighteen-year old. He
has purple eyes like jewels and straight, long sleek purple hair.
Daisuke is more or less the opposite compared to The Dark Phantom Thief. Even though Daisuke has the same abilities as Dark (short for the Phantom Thief), he is the cute, sweet and caring kind. Dark is more the handsome, and arrogant, though charming kind.

*~Name: Squall/Kaoru Leonhart

Description: He’s a seventeen year-old mercenary-for-hire who loves to perve on girls. His favourite pastime: girls. He’s still a virgin (that’s his secret, sssh!). He might be found peeking on girls wherever he can, and if he can’t see anything, he’ll use his imagination 0.o
He loves cute girls, pretty girls, tall girls, young girls, older girls, girls with great bodies, girls with huge breasts and don’t even MENTION girls with the total package!
He has never been good with them though. For some reason they just don’t like him, his first impression is never good, it might be the fact that he can’t keep his eyes up.
On his shoulder sits a small invisible Hello Kitty that has magical abilities. It is his friend and advisor. No one can see it except for Squall and anyone else that it has a liking to.
Although Squall seems close-minded, he is really a sweetheart inside. There just seems to be something missing in his life and he is looking in all the wrong places. He lives in Kenshin apartments, in 21/b. After some trouble with Hello Kitty, Squall was turned into a sexy girl he named Kaoru.

Benihime
Anime: Cowboy Bebop
*~Name: Faye Valentine

Description: Faye Valentine is a bounty huntress. Her entire past is veiled in
mystery; her age and place of birth are unknown or unclear. An alluring figure,
good looks, and an unstoppable mouth are her greatest weapons. She is an
audacious and fearless egotist, utterly pragmatic; she is pushy and resilient
no matter what the situation. Gambling is her hobby: cheating her specialty. In
a world where money is everything, she has no scruples about doing whatever it
takes to get by.

Faye gives free reign to her desires and doesn't let particulars bother her.
She freely divulges that she has a massive debt - one which is into
astronomical figures. Faye is an indomitable figure, on occasions taking an
aggressive or threatening attitude, who tries to get a lot of enjoyment out of
life. She is also a capable markswoman. The body of her spaceship, Red Tail, a
model used for military patrols and by various planetary law-enforcement
forces, is fully-outfitted with an array of weapons. Currently, she is living in Kenshin apartments, 23/b.

A lady too hot to handle, even her innocent, almost child-like smile can appear
palpably dangerous on occasion. There are also times, however, when she reveals
a lone some aspect to her character, as she searches for her unknown past, a
past that money cannot buy.

She moved out and moved into Kenshin apartment 22/b, next door to Squall. She likes to eat Ramen, sushi and play with her kitten, Kohana. The kitten has silver blue eyes and white fur with a silver straight line that starts from her nose and down her back to the end of her tail. Kohana’s personality is cute and shy, like Hinata’s. momo
Anime: Fruits Basket
*~Name: Kyo Souma

Description: He is a 17 year old guy that has the ability to transform into a cat from the Chinese Zodiac. Though somewhat a curse, it might have its uses. According to legend, the cat was tricked by the rat into missing the enkai, or party, where all the animals were inducted in to the zodiac. It is because if this betrayal that Kyo deems Yuki (his cousin) as his rival (among other reasons...) and has dedicated his entire life to someday beating him. His hobbies include martial arts and sleeping. Kyo is also pretty studious and gets good grades at school. He's also a pretty good cook. Kyo can be pretty bad tempered and is particularly sensitive to rainy/wet weather. He doesn’t get along with most people.           “Stop her! Don’t just stand there, stop her, dammit!”

And so it was another ordinary day for Faye. She had decided to stop by a casino and show off her clever skills. She won a few, then a couple more, then almost quit at a really challenging game of craps, but somehow she won; she came up on top and the rest of the men around her were either intimidated or angry at her. They accused of her cheating, which was a big no-no in this casino. So the only logically thing Faye could do was to get the hell out of there.

“Stop her!” cried a man in a gray suit. “Don’t let her get away!”

Faye instinctively pushed a button on her golden bracelet and all of a sudden, CRASH! Her little spaceship, the Red Tail, made a dramatic appearance through a window.

Faye hopped in and took off, leaving the colorful casino. She sighed. “That was close,” she said to herself.

She looked down at the bag of money she won and smiled. One word crossed her mind: shopping. And maybe after that, a spa. But for now, she was kind of hungry and needed a drink. Getting money was such a stressful and exhausting thing, especially if you don’t play by the rules.

Faye stopped at a local bar and parked the Red Tail. She got out and entered the smoky bar. She went up to the bartender and asked for some sake and an appetizer. She quickly received her drink and looked around as she took sips.

Her eyes looked towards a window. Something had caught her eye. A large, angry-looking man was standing on the sidewalk. And he was yelling at someone. Faye watched and noticed he was yelling at a flaming red-headed teenager boy. The boy was not scared; he was rather confident. In fact, he looked as if he had a plan up his sleeve.

Faye stood up to get a better look. With her glass in her hand, she walked to the window to witness the soon-to-be struggle. “What the hell?” Faye said, as the boy somehow transformed…

Requiem    Kamui stood on top of a large skyscraper over-looking the city he currently had come to visit. It had been awhile since he had returned to Japan, almost four years.

It has...not changed as much as I thought it would. Kamui thought to himself as he gazed out over the place. He leapt from the building and plummetted towards the ground. As he approached the sidewalk which rushed upwards to greet him, he slowed his descent with a quick thought and touched the ground lightly. A few people took notice and gave him mystified glances, but for the most part, no one noticed the raven haired boy who suddenly appeared.

Kamui walked silently through the streets, he knew something interesting would turn up and when it did, he'd be there.

mirror on the wall    Early one morning, Daisuke was walking slowly down a street, his hands in his pockets and the wind in his hair. Faint rushing footsteps from behind Daisuke were brought to his attention and grew louder as it neared. Then a plump, elderly man with sandy hair and going bald grabbed Daisuke’s shoulder.
“Hey, kid! Give me back my wallet, you little thief!” he demanded, panting. Daisuke looked taken aback, but stood confidently. He ran his hand through his hair and rubbed his head.
“Er…I’m sorry…sir, I don’t have your wallet,” he said politely. His ruby red eyes shifted awkwardly. Uzumi, who was standing on Daisuke’s shoulder, erupted into a song. Uzumi jumped up and down singing, ‘U-mi! Go-tea! Wa-lee!’
The elderly man tightened his grip on Daisuke’s shoulder, then let go.
“How dare you disrespect elderly people, telling lies! Give me my wallet, boy!” the man shouted. Daisuke blinked. Uzumi stood still, staring at the ground, blushing, and started twisting his foot on Daisuke’s shoulder.
“Er…,” Daisuke’s eyes shifted once again. The inner Dark in Daisuke was talking at the same time as the elderly man. It was hard to hear either of them.
‘Did you take his wallet?’ Daisuke asked in thought to Dark.
‘Damn it, Daisuke. Can’t you see that man's lying?’ he replied.
The elderly man stood still, staring at him accusingly.
“Hand it over, boy!” the man shouted, now threatening him with his fist.
‘Argh!’ said Dark, irritated, ‘I’ll take care of him!’

The old man stood in horror as Daisuke transformed. His eyes turned purple, his hair grew longer and changed into the same colour as his eyes, he grew taller and his face changed. He was now a grown, handsome young man. He grinned widely at the elderly man.
“What are you?” the man gasped. “Did you take my wallet, thief?”
“No…” Dark replied simply, sounding bored. “Well…yes.”
‘What!’ said the inner Daisuke. ‘You told me he was lying!’
“Shh!” Dark said aloud, “I can’t think with you inside my head!”
The man, who was determined to get his wallet back, stood utterly bewildered.
‘Why did you steal it for?’ Daisuke argued.
“I didn’t! We need food, damn it!” Dark said aloud, and added on a more lower, miserable note. “And we’re out of pocky sticks,” he said, frowning.
The elderly man was starting to get impatient with this, as he thought, “nutter”.
“Listen, you Schizophrenic loony! Give me my wallet!” the man demanded.
‘You just said you did steal it!’ Daisuke said, annoyed.
“No,” Dark said, staring at the ground.
“No what?” the elder man and Daisuke said together.
Uzumi, who was now on Dark's shoulder, jumped off and started to skip down the path and up the street, singing.

Both the elderly man and Daisuke were talking to Dark at once. Dark was getting thoroughly annoyed; doing a runner was Dark's only opinion. He turned to run but the man grabbed him by his cloak, pulled him back and pulled out a gun. The man looked a little shaky as he stood with it. Dark stood still, he wasn’t worried, he merely stared. The wind swirled around Dark, his hair lifted and swayed as it did. In a blink of an eye, Dark was gone. Only black feathers swirled where he stood. The old man blinked in confusion.

Dark arrived at the front door of their apartment; more feathers floated to the ground. He pulled a key from his pocket, unlocked the door, stepped through and closed the door. Uzumi stood on the couch and started to sing and jump up and down on the couch at the sight of Dark. Dark grinned (‘U-mi! Go-tea! Wa-lee! U-mi! Go-tea! Wa-lee!’). Daisuke then transformed back into himself, walked over next to Uzumi, and sank into the couch.
“Why did you steal that wallet?” Daisuke said softly.
‘I didn’t,’ Dark replied in thought. ‘Look next to you.’
Daisuke looked next to him. Uzumi stood, eyes twinkling, then pulled out from behind him a brown wallet. Daisuke’s mouth opened a little.
“U-mi Go-tea Wa-lee!” Uzumi sang, waving the wallet in the air. Daisuke smile, his eyes brightened.
‘Pfft, so you get mad at me and not him,’ Dark said. He paused for a moment. ‘Phew, my precious Stone Angel is still here. It’s just a matter of time until he finds us…I know he wants it for himself…I’ll never leave it again,’ he said. Daisuke rolled his eyes.
“We’re in hiding. It’ll be a while before he finds us,” Daisuke said.
‘That’s what you think,’ Dark said.
Paranoid, Daisuke thought.
‘Hey! I heard that!’ Dark yelled.
Daisuke took the wallet from Uzumi and pocketed it. He stood and walked over to the door.
‘Hey, where are we going? What about the Stone Angel?’ Dark protested.
“It's safe. And we're going to get food,” Daisuke said under his breath as he opened, closed and locked the door, pocketing the key. “Yes, Dark, and Pocky sticks.”
Mmm...pretzel sticks covered in delicious chocolate...my pocky... Dark thought. He started to walk slowly down the hall when he noticed a girl, same height and age, coming out of an apartment. She had short blue hair, pale silvery blue eyes, and was wearing a cute cream jacket with nice blue shorts.
She’s beautiful, he thought.
“Ahem,” Dark said, trying to interrupt Daisuke from his dream mode.
(Kenshin, the owner, was a few feet behind Daisuke. His nose bleed as he stapled pictures of 'babes in bikini’s' along the walls.)
The girl looked at Daisuke as they passed one another, though she didn’t look back as Daisuke did.
Beautiful...

Akira Kureshida     Hinata went quiet. “Sometimes…I don’t know why, I think of home and I want to go back,” she said sadly.
Naru shook her head in disbelief. “You can’t go back. What would happen to you? And besides…if you left…who else would talk to me during study breaks?”
Hinata smiled shyly. “It’s okay…it’s just something that bothers me. I don’t want to go back yet anyhow.” She looked up at Naru. “I miss Naruto…” All went silent for the next few moments.
She wanted to change the subject realizing that the atmosphere had become sad. Naru thought of something. She sipped at her tea and slammed it down on the table suddenly. “That’s it!! I have it! ANY guy I catch being perverted gets it. NO exceptions. You have no idea how fun it will be teaching them a lesson. Especially this Squall guy you mentioned.” Naru smiled excitedly.
Hinata smiled nervously. “I hope you don’t hurt anyone too badly…”
“Oh, not too badly…I have an idea, Hinata! It involves your Byakogun.”

Hinata, with her broken glass-like eyes scanned the room next door. “It’s empty,” she said quietly.
Naru, disappointed, moved into the kitchen to put away the tea. Hinata headed for the door and said goodbye as she left. “Take care,” Naru called as she heard the door click shut.

Naru studied at her desk for a further five minutes but couldn’t concentrate. Frustrated, she slammed her book shut and shoved her pen into the case. An idea formed in her mind and she played on it for a while, developing it into a fully-fledged plan. This is going to be fun… she thought. She bounded into her bedroom and opened her wardrobe. Scanning the few items she had, she chose a tiny black dress that was low-cut. A friend had given it to her in the hope that she would wear it; a guy friend, of course. She threw off her clothes and squeezed herself into it. She looked in the mirror and gasped. Ergghh…who wears this stuff? Untying her hair, she let it fall loose around her shoulders. As she left, she locked the apartment door behind her.

As soon as she turned around to face the hall, her eyes widened in disbelief. Lined along the walls were indecent posters of women in bikinis. Naru screamed: long and loud. She heard footsteps running through the hall towards her and turned to face her landlord, Kenshin Himura. His red hair was tied up in a ponytail, the ‘x’ scar less visible under his fringes. He had his hand on his sword, his face red. “What is it? Is somebody attacking you?”
She shook her head. “These…these POSTERS! They’re disgusting! Who would put these up here?”
Kenshin’s face paled. “Hehe. Yes. Who would…do such a thing?” He caught sight of her dress and shoes…and body. He gulped. Naru turned to face him and caught him staring at her chest. Her breathing became louder and louder as Kenshin continued to stare. She screamed and raised her hand to slap him across the face. “HIMURA!!!!!!!!!”
He screamed and ran down the hallway. Naru chased Kenshin around the block to administer her knuckles on his face.

Minutes later, puffing and panting, she had slowed down to a stop. “Where did he go?” she asked herself. He had disappeared somewhere in the block. Looking around, she noticed the door she stood outside happened to be Hinata’s. She knocked on the door and waited. No one answered. Remembering something about the guy next door, she decided to check it out. She went to the door on the left and knocked softly. Naru waited impatiently, and knocked again. Soft footsteps from the apartment told her that someone was inside. The door clicked and the handle turned. The door was opened a crack and a shadow and eye stared at her. “Yes?” someone murmured. A strange noise followed. Something weird and strangulated like “Aaaunnngh-eck” and then the eye moved up and down her body. She saw light shine on the man’s blonde hair when he opened the door to see better. Her eyes widened. “Are you Squall?” A pause followed. “No… I’m Onizuka Eikichi. Great teacher Onizuka.” She raised an eyebrow. “You’re a teacher?” she said as sweetly as she could. He opened the door a gap wider. “Uh huh.” He gulped. “Great teacher Onizuka Eikichi, 22-years old.”
“Do you like what I’m wearing…Great teacher Onizuka?” she fluttered her eyelids enticingly. He nodded fervently. “Uh huh.”
She flicked her hair back and put her hand on her hip. “And you like what you see…Onizuka?”
He nodded again, opening the door completely. She took the chance and kicked him across the room. “Pervert!!!!!!” she screamed. “Teachers shouldn’t be looking at students like that!!!” Naru left to knock on the door to the right of Hinata’s room.

The door was already a crack open. “Hello?” she said softly. “Is anyone home?” No one answered. She opened it a crack tentatively and then pushed it open. “Hello?”
The room was empty except for some wrappers that lay on the ground. A movement in the corner caught her attention and then a kitten jumped down from a desk to her feet, rubbing it’s soft fur around her legs. Another movement in the corner caught her eye. A guy with brown hair, a little older than she was, crouched in a dark corner eating something she recognized as complimentary dinner mints. He unwrapped another one and ate it, staring at her, keeping his head hunched down. She looked at him. “Are…are you Squall?”
He unwrapped another one and ate it, his look furtive, almost paranoid. This apartment block is full of weirdos…
He swallowed. “Would you like a mint?”
She thought for a moment. “No…thank you.” She heard him mumble something over and over. Something like, “Accident, it was an accident. Accident!” Naru backed away and turned to exit the weirdo’s apartment. “Wait!” Squall called. Naru turned around to find him coming to her at an incredibly fast pace. “Wait!” He fell forward and landed on top of her, making her sprawl backwards. She screamed.
He said: “Ag-id-en! It ez an agi-den,” his voice sounded muffled as though he was talking through a pillow. She looked down to see his face drowning in her chest. She screeched and scrambled away. He got up and ran to his corner, cowering. “Sumimasen!”
Her face turned scarlet and she picked up his fallen sword. “Any last words?” she screamed at him.
“You’re beautiful!”

~*Sayuri
Squall had his head lowered, prepared to be slaughtered into oblivion. “No! I’m too young to die!” he said to Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty mewed and jumped up and down on his shoulder. “Ish okiez, Squally, look!” Hello Kitty said cutely. Squall looked up from beneath his arm. Naru had the gun blade raised in the air, her face in shock. “Beautiful…” she mouthed. She looked around in fear, not knowing what to do, and ran out the door, throwing the sword on the ground. “Mew!” Hello Kitty breathed in relief. “Ish not goodiez to look at girly’z bodies, Squally. See what happensh?” she reprimanded.
“Hehe, well…you know. I can’t help it, they’re just so beautiful. My eyes…I just can’t NOT look.”
Kohana, Hinata’s white kitten, ran to his side and mewed up at Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty mewed in response and waved a little wand. Sparkles fell from the tip and made the kitten glow. “Mew! Mew!” Kohana replied joyfully.
“What did you do to the kitten?” asked Squall.
“You’ll see, Squally, you’ll see.”

*
Squall walked past the hot spring house, blocking his ears as he passed the women’s baths. He had made a vow to himself to look at no more women for the day. Faces only. His eyes were shut tight, as he walked, hoping to pass the sounds of women talking, splashing…squealing…in those little towels…and if he was REALLY lucky, they mightn’t wear anything…he screamed and made a run for it, only to bash his head into a wall. “You should-a opened your eyes, Squally!” said Hello Kitty. “Ow ow ow, it hurts, it hurts!” he said, rubbing his head. His unblocked ears caught the voices of women giggling beyond the wall. His eyes widened. “Oh no, Squally, don’t do it! Fight it!” Hello Kitty jumped up and down.
“I can’t…help it…must see…” He gripped his hands and tried to fight his urge to peek. “Must remember…what happened…this morning…”
He found himself peeping through a small hole leading into the bath. Peering around, he caught sight of a few girls sitting in the bath wrapped in towels, laughing and joking. He gulped. “Wahhh…it’s so…incredible!” His face reddened. “Look, a blond one! Look at the size of those-”
Hello Kitty tapped him on the head with her wand, jumping on his shoulder. “Shtop, shtop, shtop!”
He was lost in his own world, not hearing Hello Kitty. She waved her wand and sparkles fell onto his face and body. He began to transform. Squall didn’t notice. He itched his hand and continued to peek through. Hello Kitty jumped down and sprinkled more of her magic on Squall. His face transformed, his eyes changed into a lighter brown, his hair turned blue and became longer. His chest expanded, his –ahem- disappeared and turned into –ahem. He scratched his cheek and continued to perve. Hello Kitty, satisfied with her handiwork, climbed back onto his shoulder. “I hope thish teaches you shumthing.”
“Eh…did you say something?” Squall mumbled.

A cough sounded from behind him. “Excuse me, miss.” Squall ignored the person, figuring they weren’t referring to him. “Miss!” A tap on his shoulder. He turned around. A gigantic woman, possibly the owner of the hot spring, was looking down at him. His eyes widened in fear. “I…dropped something, I swear!” he explained. She eyed him suspiciously. She couldn’t see Hello Kitty. “Oh, I was going to ask you if you needed a towel.” She handed him a pink towel with flowers on it and walked away into the bath house. He scrunched up his face in confusion. Usually they just beat him up and booted him out the door. “Eh?”
Hello Kitty giggled and waved her wand to change his voice.
He looked in and saw the girls. “Ah…yeah. That’s the stuff…” he said in a female voice. He didn’t notice, his mind fixated on the girls. The large woman wandered into the bath and sat down, her stomach jiggling wildly. Squall refrained from retching. “Ergh…” She unwrapped her towel and sat in the bath naked. “Ahhh!!! My eyes!” Squall tore away from the wall and sat down in horror, rubbing his eyes.

He sighed and walked towards the men’s bath house. As he came into the change room, he undressed quickly, wrapped a towel around himself and threw the pink one on the ground. He looked around the corner to see several loud, ugly men bathing already. “Eck, I hate bathing with other people,” he said to Hello Kitty. He flicked his long hair behind his shoulder and walked in. Hello Kitty jumped around, waving her wand. She disappeared from his shoulder.
The five men, who were in the middle of laughing hysterically, suddenly stopped at the sight of Squall. They eyed him up and down. Squall was taken aback, not liking the way they were staring at his body. He ignored it and went to sit down, sinking into the hot water, closing his eyes. They ogled him, smirking at each other. “Hey sweetie,” growled one with a pot belly. Squall opened an eye and then the other. The men were silent, staring at his chest. “Ooh, nice!”
Squall sat up and threw the towel off his head.
“Sweetie, it’s nice of you to join us.”
Squall coughed and prepared to leave the bath house. “Gomen, I’m not into that sort of thing-“ he stopped at the sound of his voice. “I-I-”
They looked at him; one raised an eyebrow at his friend.
“I’m not-“ Squall suddenly noticed the size of his body, the thin waist and the boobs protruding from his chest. He gulped loudly. Hello Kitty!!! It was you, wasn’t it!!! Kuso!!! He stood up slowly. “He-he…wrong bath. Gomen…gomen.” He turned to leave. He felt a hand slide up his leg (his smooth leg), before he received a slap on the cheek (not his face). He screeched and turned to slap the person but decided against it. Squall stood up and ran for her life.

Back home, wrapped in a towel, clutching her clothes to her chest, Squall gasped for air. “Hello Kitty! Where are you, dammit! Change me back. I don’t want a woman’s body for-” she stopped mid-sentence. She dropped her bundle of clothes and gaped at the body underneath the towel. She blushed furiously. “Maybe this won’t be so bad after all…”

*
Squall sat at the bar, waiting for her ramen. She was dressed scraggily in baggy pants and a dark shirt, tied in the middle. A pretty woman sat beside her. “Hey, how you doin’?” Squall nodded in her direction. The girl smiled. “I’m good. What’s your name?”
Hehe, she’s pretty. And she’s actually talking to me! “Er…Kaoru…Leonhart,” he said, grinning.

Astiwen fancies ROTK!
“Where’s my diamond bracelet? Damn it, where is it?”

Faye wandered from place to place to search for her newly bought piece of jewelry. She was all dressed up from her usual gaudy yellow outfit that she usually wore. She was clad in a beautiful navy blue dress with matching gloves. She didn’t do much with her violet hair. She also smelt of lilacs, thanks to a new bottle of expensive perfume. Ah, that bag of money sure did treat Faye well. She really liked this city. She loved it so much, she considered staying. The only problem was, where?

Thanks to her amazing tracking system on the Red Tail, she had followed that mysterious redheaded teenage boy to Kenshin apartments. He had fascinated her. It was kind of easy to locate him, although it perplexed her so in how he got from place to place so quickly. So very quickly. Anyway, she thought the apartment complex was pretty quaint, and decided to buy a room. After threatening the landlord with her Austrian Glock 30 to quit hitting on her and give her a room, she finally received a decent one, 23/B.

Since the day turned out to be an exciting, wonderful, and interesting day, Faye decided to eat at a restaurant she saw on her way to the Kenshin apartments. She was such a show-off, she decided to dress in her best. As in her best best.

But right now, her beautiful bracelet was missing, and she had to find it in order to leave. She walked outside from balcony to balcony until she stopped and leaned over the edge, noticing a certain glimmer in a bush. Faye agilely jumped and landed, and then scooped up the bracelet, cradling it. She smiled, took out her keys, and started to walk to the Red Tail.

She suddenly ran into a person, almost falling to the ground. The stranger immediately caught her before she fell. “Hey, watch where you are…” Faye started to yell, but then finally noticed that the stranger had caught her. Faye squinted to see who the stranger was.

“Oh, sorry,” Faye said to the dark figure. “And, um, thanks for the…well, you know…catching me.”

“It was no problem,” said the stranger. It was a male. “I deeply apologize for running into you.”

“Yes, well, it’s okay,” Faye said to the darkness. “I’m okay, no sweat. I hope I didn’t hurt you.”

          “No, you didn’t.”

“Oh….Well, I better be going. Thanks for…um…just thanks.”

Faye walked to the area she thought the stranger was standing at to shake his hand, but he wasn’t there. She suddenly saw a sign of action out the corner of her eye. She turned and noticed a young man, clad in black, walking under the light pole into the far off distance. Faye noticed he had shiny raven hair. Nice hair, she thought. But was he the guy I just met?

Faye automatically tossed this thought aside and got into the Red Tail. She started it up and took off to the restaurant.

***

Faye entered the fantastic-looking restaurant. Men of all kinds couldn’t take their eyes off her. Faye sighed and cursed under her breath as she made her way to the bar and sat. She ordered an expensive drink and waited.

A conversation next to her caught her attention. She turned to watch two girls talking, the girl next to her a little too giddy for the night. Ugh, what is she wearing? Faye thought as she scrunched up her nose. Baggy pants and a shirt like that for her figure? Ugh. Beauty is so wasted on the wrong people.

The girl next to her felt as though someone was watching her, so she turned to look at Faye. Faye gave a small smile then received a drink from the bartender. The girl then seemed to be transfixed by Faye and stared in agape. Here was a tall, sexy, twenty-three year old woman right next to her, and it seemed as if she was a princess or a queen; she looked like she was loaded…this girl had a reason to stare.

Faye noticed this and turned to look at the girl directly in the eye. “What the hell are you staring at?” Faye asked in exasperation.

mirror on the wall    Daisuke was walking home from the shops, listening to the argument Uzumi and Dark were having. He was in the form of Dark, because Dark convinced him to change before going to the cash out area, where beautiful women stood. Dark was convinced that his good looks and charm would be able to get them half off on the groceries. He was, of course, wrong, although he did receive a slap across the face.
“Okay, okay, you have the chocolate one.” Dark offered Uzumi the pockey stick.
“New! U-mi want chocolate!” Uzumi argued.
“Fine!” said Dark, who was getting annoyed. He wanted to eat the pockey sticks now. No time to argue. “I’ll have strawberry.” He looked at it longingly and held it high in the air as though it was a priceless jewel.
“New! I want it, me! me!” Uzumi jumped and snatched it from Darks hand.
“Hey!” Dark yelled, managing to grab hold of it with his other hand. Dark and Uzumi glared at each other, then tug back and forth on the pockey stick, calling “Mine!” with each effort.
‘Just share,’ Daisuke said to Dark and Uzumi in thought. Dark and Uzumi stopped dead in their tracks.
“No!” they said stubbornly.

They weren’t far from Kenshin apartments. It was just ahead. At that moment Daisuke then transformed back into himself and gave Uzumi the strawberry pockey stick.
“Hey! Hey!” Dark called. “That’s mine,” he moaned sulkily. Dark was just about to give in, but Uzumi poked out his tongue and ran down the path to Kenshin apartments, singing “Nah, nah, nah-nah, nah!” Dark transformed himself in anger and ran after him. He followed Uzumi up the path. Uzumi jumped up onto the rubbish bin and into the tree above. Dark followed.
“You little hairball! You wait!” he shouted. Uzumi looked back at dark, poked out his tongue, turned back to jump up into a higher branch, but Dark managed to grab hold of his tail. Dark took hold of the pockey stick and gripped it. They tugged on it. Uzumi spotted the rattling box of pockey sticks in Dark’s pocket. “Let – go!” Dark pulled it towards him.
“Okay,” Uzumi said simply. Dark lost balanced as Uzumi let go. Before he fell, Uzumi snatched the box, perched on a branch and began to eat peacefully.

Dark hit a balcony of Kenshin apartments. He sat up and rubbed his head, pockey stick in hand. He noticed it, looked at it hungrily and ate it greedily. When he finished, he noticed the music that came from inside the apartment, but thought nothing of it. Daisuke heaved a deep sigh of annoyance and transformed back into himself. He brushed back his hair and turn to leave, but stopped. The girl he saw outside his apartment that morning was dancing on top of her couch.
“How cute,” he breathed.
‘Hey, dream boy, let’s go before she sees-’ But it was too late. The girl had stopped and was staring at them.
“Uh-oh, oh no! She’s looking,” he panicked in thought.
‘Run, you idiot! Move!” Dark demanded. But Daisuke was frozen still. He was embarrassed. The whole scene looked suspicious. They were in trouble.

Just then the girl’s front door opened from inside and the girl who entered caught site of them almost at once and charged like a bull. She was scary, Daisuke thought. She pulled the balcony door open, he mousy brown hair fell in front of his anger face. She grabbed his wrist and pulled him close. As she screamed at him, Daisuke could feel something funny. A feeling that Dark must have been feeling. It was the same feeling Daisuke had when he looked at Hinata. Without warning, Daisuke transformed into Dark and stared deeply into the girl’s eyes.
‘What are you doing!?” Daisuke shouted.
‘Shh! I’ll handle this… She’s an angel,” he added, day dreamily. He leaned over and kissed her softly.
‘How is that handling it?” Daisuke questioned angrily.

Before they knew it, they were in their apartment.
“See, I told you I’d handle it,” he said.
‘Humph!’
Dark walked across the room into their small sunroom, where Dark’s stone angel was, and opened the door to check it was safe. It stood on a small table in the middle of the dark room. The room was covered so no light and no people could see in. He walked over to it. Dark wished as he stared at the statue, that it were destroyed, so it wouldn’t destroy him one day. But he had to protect it, because it held his life. Daisuke was apart of Dark on many levels. It was a blessing and curse on both Dark and Daisuke’s self. The door behind them slammed shut. Dark turned around in the pitch black. The light flicked on.
“You!”

Akira Kureshida    Naru sat in a corner of her room curled up in a ball, rocking. “Beautiful, he called me beautiful. No, did he? No…No one says beautiful to me. How could he…what he…ergh…never again. His name is Squall…Beautiful…Good thing…good, right?” she babbled to herself. She was shocked and confused, ready to hide in the realm of insanity. 34 minutes later, she calmed herself and breathed in and out, thinking sane thoughts. “It’s okay, Naru. Just get it together, it’s all good. Just gotta study, get back to studying, gotta get into Toudai and I’m set for life.”

She ran to her room and changed her clothes. She sat at her desk twirling her pen in her hand, staring at the cover of her book for five minutes. At this rate I’ll never get into Toudai… She opened her book and read the first line about 27 times. Damn it! I’m so bored! She still hadn’t wreaked her revenge on Kenshin so she left her room to find him.

Minutes later, she found Kenshin on a balcony cleaning a window…or so she first assumed. She climbed a ladder and over the railing, stepping onto the balcony. He was so engrossed in what he was doing, he didn’t notice her. Looking through the window, she saw a girl busily changing out of her clothes in preparation for a shower. She didn’t notice the two people on her balcony. Kenshin was giggling to himself. He was ogling like a sleazebag and the cleaning cloth in his hand was not cleaning anything. Naru put her hands on her hips and felt her face heat up in anger. He stopped giggling suddenly, noticing Naru’s reflection in the window. His shoulders sagged and his head drooped in preparation for a severe beating. He turned around slowly to look at her sheepishly. He grinned. “Hehe…I was just cleaning…no need to get angry…AHHHH!!!” he screamed, jumping off the balcony. She didn’t follow him, she was afraid of heights. “Get back here, Himura!!!” She picked up a bottle of empty cleaning agent and threw it at him. It bounced off his head but he kept running for his life. Arghhh!!! she thought in frustration.

She opened the door to Hinata’s apartment. She was so angry, she had to vent to someone. “Hinata, I-“ She stopped dead in her tracks, her jaw dropped. Some SLEAZE was staring at Hinata through the window. Not another one! She charged at him at full speed, ready to murder him. He shook his head in fear. She grabbed his wrists ready to scream at him before throwing him off the balcony. But before she knew it, the most handsome and sexy guy she had ever been faced with appeared, centimeters from her face. She froze and paled, her knees shaking. He…he…is so…wow… She was glad she had her hands around his wrists or she would have fainted already. He moved in to kiss her, his eyes staring deep into hers. He half-smiled before his lips came into contact with hers, she closed her eyes. She fell into a daze. Her first kiss…

Before she knew it she was with Hinata alone, and then she was on the couch with a cup of coffee in her hand. He was so…amazing. She could hardly believe she had just had her first kiss… She hoped that wasn’t the last time she would ever see him. She needed to know who he was. She asked Hinata but she didn’t know. A moment later she witnessed a beautiful woman jump from the balcony. So many weirdos…she thought. This day has been strange. I need somewhere new to live…but Hinata. She finished her coffee and decided to leave. She decided she was going to buy groceries and then crawl into bed to sleep for the remainder of the day.

As she placed her groceries on the counter, the shopkeeper smiled. “The usual, miss?” she asked.
“Yes, thank you,” Naru said politely.
The woman leaned down under the counter and pulled out a medium sized box. She placed it on the counter. “Mmm…” Naru mumbled. Naru paid, picked up her box and shopping bags and ran all the way home. She put all her groceries away but placed the box in the center of her table. She grabbed a knife and looked at the box with delight. She ripped it open and took out one of the neatly packed boxes. “Mmm…24 boxes of Pocky sticks all for me!!!” She tore open the packaging and began munching. “Strawberry…ooh ooh! Chocolate…mmm…”
As she ate, her front door suddenly burst open and someone closed it quickly, puffing and panting. They looked out the window and then shut the curtain in paranoia. Naru raised an eyebrow. “Ahem, excuse me but what are you doing?”
The person turned around and looked at her in shock. “Oh! Sumimasen, please don’t say anything! I need to hide! They’re out to get me! I need a place to hide!” she pleaded. It was a little girl around five years old, so pretty she looked like a little doll. Her long dark hair was braided and she wore a diamond tiara. She wore a pastel pink gown that looked as though it was worth a fortune and a ring with the biggest diamond she had ever seen.
“Who is after you?” Naru asked, concerned.
The young girl looked like she was ready to cry. “The Amorian…they’re scary…”
Naru walked forward and hugged her. “Who are you?” she whispered.
“My name is Alliana. I’m a princess from Enthos.”
Naru looked at her in surprise.
“I want to go home!” Alliana cried.

Fig
"Interesting...' D thought as he looked through his window. A cute looking girl had an angered look on her face and she appeared as though she was going to strike the person who appeared in her room, but she stopped when the person leaned over and kissed her. Picking his sword up from the bed, he began to walk outside.
"Aren't you interested?" a voice asked.
"No," D replied bluntly.
"The girls here are easy! You can get almost any one of them you want," the voice said with some enthusiasm.
"Leave me alone..."
"All you have to do is use your big strong silent hero routine and bingo! You got yourself a woman!' the voice continued.
"Do you want me to put on a glove?" D asked
"Guess not...okay i'll be quiet, for now," Han said sulkily.

D walked out of the room and looked down at his clothes. He didn't want to change. He liked what he had on. It made him feel comfortable, even though he didn't blend in with anyone. Touching the hilt of his sword, he felt more confident. He loved his sword, but D knew he would love the company of a woman more. Walking out of the apartments, D saw Kenshin sitting on a chair and watching through binoculars. Looking around, D realised his binoculars were aimed at one of the rooms in the apartments.
"Kenshin' D said. Kenshin jumped at the sound of his voice.
"Huh! Hey! How's everything?' he said nervously putting the binoculars behind his back quickly.
"Are there any good spots here to just relax?" D asked.
" Well, you could try the spa or the restaurant around the corner,' he said gazing up at the room he was watching. A woman in a two piece bathing suit walked out onto the balcony from the room that Kenshin was watching. D looked at Kenshin and raised an eyebrow at him curiously,
"I guess I'll leave you with whatever you were doing..." D said before turning away.
"Did you see the rack on that woman?!" Han exclaimed.
"I sure did!" shouted Kenshin.
"I'm sure Kenshin and I would get along just fine.. you're no fun D," Han complained.
"The restaurant sounds like a good place to go," D said to no one in particular.

"You need to leave your sword outside sir,' the bouncer at the front said.
"No," D said.
"Don't make me get physical sir," the bouncer said his tone rising.
"Don't make me draw my sword..." D said in a hushed tone, but with a deadly edge to it. The bouncer stopped and thought for a second and decided to let D in anyway. D made his way to the bar with a few odd stares. He ordered a glass of orange juice.
"Real smooth handsome,' Han said sarcastically. D deliberately picked up the glass with his right hand, to quiet Han. Looking across the bar, D saw an amazing woman wearing a blue outfit. She had an exotic, but dangerous look about her. He was very interested in her. He watched everything about her closely. From her lovely hair, to the curves on her dress. He noticed a change in her eyes, something angered her. It was a girl. Something about the girl she didn't like.
“What the hell are you staring at?” The woman shouted at the girl. The girl just stared blankly at her. Sipping on his orange juice, D wondered if to interject or not. Because one way or another, he was going to talk to that woman before he left the restaurant.

~*Sayuri     Kaoru, or Squall as she was otherwise known, slurped at her food and ate her ramen like a slob. Several people looked on at her with surprise that slowly turned into disgust. The girl next to her that she had tried to pick up had already left, feeling rather uncomfortable sitting with a girl that wouldn’t stop staring at her chest. Kaoru noticed a beautiful woman with incredible curves and a small blue dress sitting at the bar. Kaoru considered talking to her when the woman suddenly snapped at the girl next to her. Squall gulped and kept eating her soup noodles, as though practically oblivious to the mess she had created on herself and the bar. She kept her gun-blade with her just incase she got into a fight, which was quite likely as most women were taken these days and their boyfriends weren’t very friendly to him for some reason. He knew how to use his blade though, he had trained for years and was a hired mercenary but there wasn’t much use for mercenaries while things were so peaceful. He was enjoying himself as a woman and had even grown fond of his name. Quite tasteful, he thought. He might even have to remember to thank Hello Kitty wherever she had disappeared to. As he pondered this, a big beefy man suddenly sat next to him, covered in tattoos and very, very ugly. Kaoru shuddered. He was sipping at a beer watching Kaoru carefully. “Hey…” the man said.
Squall kept eating, and slurped a noodle into his mouth, watching as a drop of soup flicked into the man’s face. The ugly man wiped at his face in disgust. “Ergh…forget you, dirty bi-” He didn’t finish as the man at the bar cut in. “That’ll be 600 yen.”
Kaoru searched through her wallet and gave him the money. The man next to her shot her one last look of disgust and left. Kaoru’s mouth dropped open. She’d never felt so rejected in her life, and she’d faced enough rejection to last several lifetimes. Hey! he thought. I’m not that bad. I’m beautiful! Beautiful! Ah…forget it…
*
Back at the Kenshin apartments, Squall had the privacy of the roof, part of a contract he had made with Kenshin: the roof was all his to train on whenever he pleased, as long as Squall provided Kenshin with all the best posters.
He found it difficult to train in a woman’s body; he was restricted by the small physique and the reduced strength. He wondered if it was even worth working out his body if he was just going to change back into himself anyway. With his gun-blade, he trained for a few hours when Hello Kitty suddenly materialized on his shoulder. “Squally!” Hello Kitty exclaimed.
He stopped and put his blade away. “Hello Kitty. Where have you been? I need you to change me back, this body is useless for my training.”
“Aww Shkwaully…I misht you.” She waved her wand and slowly Squall changed back into himself.
Squall began his training again, executing several moves with his blade skillfully. Hello Kitty watched and clapped her little paws together. He suddenly heard a shout coming from below. He ran to the edge of the roof and peered down to see Kenshin running away from something. He recognized the scary woman’s voice and saw a bottle hit Kenshin’s head. “Phew. At least it’s not me down there,” Squall said to Hello Kitty.
Hello Kitty giggled.
“By the way, Kitty, what did you do to that white kitten before?”
Hello Kitty waved her wand and appeared hovering in front of him. “Mm…I gave the little kitty shum wings to grow. She told me she’s always wanted to fly. But I don’t know if it worked properly Shkwaully, my magic doeshn’t work all the time. I was going to ask you to find the kitty to see if it worked.”
Squall agreed and went downstairs to change into his normal outfit.

Hours later, as the day turned into night, Squall searched for the kitten through the apartments. Having no luck and getting extremely frustrated, he called to Hello Kitty who had disappeared earlier. “I can’t find the kitten. Have you found her yet?”
Hello Kitty jumped up and down. “Not yet, Shkwaully.”
“Can’t you just wave your wand and find her?”
Hello Kitty stopped and itched her nose with the tip of her wand. “I can do that.”
Squall groaned. “Why didn’t you do it earlier?”
She waved her wand and then disappeared. She came back a moment later. “I found her Squally, but you have to get her. I can’t make thingies come with me with magic and I don’t want to wake up the girly sleeping next to the kitty because magic ish sparkly.”
“Girl sleeping next to her? Where is she?”
Hello Kitty smiled. “In blue-hair girly’s room.”
“Blue hair…Hinata?”
Hello Kitty nodded.
“You want me to break into her house?” he exclaimed.
She nodded.
*
“Oh man, the things I do for you…” he said as he jumped down from the roof onto the balcony below. He slowly climbed over the railing, flipped over and let himself down onto the balcony below carefully. It was practically pitch black and he could barely see what he was doing. He went over to the side and felt his way across the wall, sliding on a ledge. “Thish ones it, Squally,” Hello Kitty whispered. He felt the cold glass of a window and pressed his hands on it, trying to slide it open. “It’s locked,” he said softly. Hello Kitty waved her wand and he heard a quiet click as the lock opened. He slid it open as carefully as possible and pulled himself up and in. His feet hit the soft carpet and he crouched down, peering around in the dimness. He could hear the faint breathing of someone in bed.
“Squally, the kitty is on her pillow.”

Astiwen fancies ROTK!
“I said, what the hell are you staring at?” Faye demanded again.

The girl was silent. She opened her mouth to speak but closed it instead. Faye held her fist ready, just in case. The girl saw it, got up, and left.

“That’s what I thought,” Faye said, returning to her drink. She took a sip, when a figure appeared next to her.

“Look, do you want me to hurt you, you little--” Faye began to say, when she noticed it wasn’t the girl. It was tall, dark man instead.

“Oh, sorry,” said Faye. “I thought you were…someone else.”

“It’s all right,” the man said. He had a mysterious presence. It fascinated Faye. “What did that girl did to you?”

“Oh…you saw,” said Faye. “Well, she kept staring…I hate people who stare at me without a reason.”

“Interesting pet peeve,” said the man.

Faye smiled and took a sip from her glass. She noticed the man was drinking orange juice.

“You’re drinking orange juice?” she asked. “Why? This is a bar!”

“I prefer the taste of orange juice,” he said, taking a sip.

Faye cocked an eyebrow then smiled. This guy sure was weird…but in a good way, she thought.

She looked at her watch. Damn. It was really late. And she needed her beauty rest.

Faye paid the bartender and got up. The mysterious guy looked at her in surprise. “Where are you going?” he asked.

          “Home,” said Faye.

          “Now? But we just met…”

“I’m sorry. But I’m tired. I’ve had a very busy day. Maybe we’ll see each other another time.” She turned to leave.

“What’s your name?” called out the guy.

Faye turned back around. “Faye. Faye Valentine.” Then she continued her way to the parking lot as the guy watched her.

mirror on the wall    A handsome guy with light blue hair and glasses leaned against the wall beside the closed door, smirking.
"You!" Dark said, a strong hatred grew in his eyes.
"You didn't really believe I wouldn't find you, did you?" he asked in calm voice.
'Oh no, oh no, oh no!' Daisuke said.
"Shh!!! Be quiet!" Dark growled.
"Split personality, have we?" he said, surveying Dark coldly. "Ooh, yes. That kid. Really unfortunate that he is in the blood line."
Dark said nothing.
"I haven't come for your precious angel, Dark," he added.
Dark couldn't believe his ears.
"I've come to speak to Daisuke."
'What? He wants to speak with me?'
"What do you want with him?" Dark demanded. Something wasn't right.
"I didn't come to kidnap him," he said coldly to Dark, "I've come to make a proposition."
'A proposition?'
"Why?" Dark said.
"I don't wish to speak to you, Dark," he smirked.
Dark's eyes thinned; he wanted to throw himself at him. Dark watched as he pulled something from behind his back. He held it in front of them. It was Uzumi, tied up. Uzumi swung in the boy's hand, his ears hung, sad and droopy like his cute face (Ow-i).
"Your pet isn't very aware of its surroundings. And neither are you both. You were so into your pocky sticks that you didn't even notice that I was watching at a close distance," he said darkly. "And I thought I was dealt a challenge," he sneered.
'I'm going to transform,' Daisuke told Dark.
'No, it could be a trick.'
The boy watched as Dark stood silently.
'So?' Daisuke said, 'He's got Uzumi!' Daisuke transformed. The boy smiled.
"What do you want?"
'No!' Dark growled, 'You idiot!'
"To offer you your own body," he said.
'What!' Dark said. Daisuke thought, and looked at the floor. It would be nice...but . He looked up; hatred in his eyes. Dark smiled knowingly and grateful.
"No," he answered.
"No?" he said calmly, tilting his head sideways.
"No," Daisuke repeated. "Dark is apart of me, with or without a body. He is me, and I am him."
The boy placed Uzumi down and stepped closer to Daisuke.
“You deny Dark from his own body, too?”
Dark and Daisuke remained silent.
“Nor-ti U-mi,” Uzumi said, who had appeared on the boy’s shoulder.
“What the-”
Uzumi giggled, snatched the glasses off his nose and ran around him in circles, waving the glasses in the air.
‘Daisuke let's go while Uzumi is distracting him! Grab the angel too!’
‘But-’
‘He’ll be fine!’
‘K,’ Daisuke said sadly as his quickly wrapped his arms around the stone angel. ‘Where to?’ Daisuke asked hurriedly.
‘Donno, don’t care. Anywhere! Now!’

They disappeared from their apartment into another Kenshin apartment. Dark transformed, holding the stone angel and ran through the apartment, tripping over two girls in the living room. One he recognised from the balcony, the other he didn’t. He and Naru looked at each other. He could see her face turning angry and was about to yell, but covered her mouth with his hand.
“I’m not a suspicious person!” he said. The little girl grabbed the first thing she could find, which was a toy turtle, and started to hit him with it.
“Get off! Get off!” the girl yelled.
‘You choose here out of all places?’ he moaned to Daisuke, who was getting hit on the head.
‘Gomen,’ Daisuke said.

Naru was struggling. Dark held her firmly in his arms and whispered in her ear.
“Keep it safe.” He disappeared, black feathers swirling around them. The little girl dropped the turtle and tilted her head, her finger at her lip.
“He left his angel here,” she said softly.

Dark appeared in Squall's apartment and searched around for him. He spotted Squall sitting on the balcony edge, looking up at the night sky. Dark walked out onto the balcony. Squall looked back at him.
“What’s up?” he said, returning his eyes to the sky.
“Things are getting serious. I may need your sword skills,” Dark said business like as he stood beside him.
“K,” Squall answered. Dark jumped over and sat on the edge too.
“He’s down in my apartment. We can fight him together; he may leave soon if we don’t hurry.”
Squall looked beside him and nodded. Dark looked at him curiously. “What’s up?”
“Nothing,” Squall said, looking back up at the sky.
“We should go now,” Dark insisted.
‘Yeah, Uzumi is there by himself’ Daisuke said.
‘I know,’ Dark answered in thought.
“I wouldn’t worry, Dark,” Squall said, running a hand through his silky hair. “He won’t bother you again as long as you live here in Kenshin apartments, but you may be in danger outside it.”
“But…we need to go and-”
“Trust me, don’t worry, it's already taken care of.”
Dark narrowed his eyes at him.
‘He didn’t even do anything though!’ Daisuke said angrily.
“I trust you Squall,” Dark smiled cheekily, ignoring Daisuke, and looked up at the sky with him.
Squall smiled too.

Akira Kureshida     Naru placed an arm on the little girl’s shoulder and was prepared to say something comforting when the guy she had kissed suddenly appeared in her room. Where did he come from? she thought. She swallowed, a little nervous to be seeing him, but then she realized he was in her apartment scaring Alliana. Naru’s face was heating up as she was ready to scream but the guy was behind her in a flash, his hand over her mouth. She struggled and fought but he was too strong for her. Sheesh, I can’t breathe. She was prepared to be reasonable with him, besides, he couldn’t be in her apartment without good reason. But he didn’t let her go and she was suffocating. “Ungg…Eck…ca-n-bree,” she said between his fingers. He whispered one final thing and then he was suddenly gone. She gasped for air. She looked up to find Alliana holding Naru’s toy turtle, her hands clasped around it. “Look after a statue?” Naru said.
Alliana shrugged.
“Will you be okay, Alliana? You can stay here with me as long as you like.”
Alliana’s face brightened. “Really? I would love that. Just until I can get home. Maybe my parents will find me soon.”
Naru nodded and turned to look at the angel statue that he had left in her apartment. “Wow…” she breathed, observing it. “It’s beautiful…”
Alliana agreed.
*
Later, Alliana was watching anime in Naru’s lounge munching on Pocky sticks. She was absolutely enthralled, having never watched television in her life.
Naru studied her texts meanwhile, the statue placed in front of her on her desk. She traced a finger over its shiny surface and noticed all the fingerprint marks. “Sheesh, it’s dirty.” She came back a moment later with buffer and a polishing cloth. She cleaned it and rubbed at it until it glistened. She smiled, proud of her work. She observed the features of the angel’s face, growing entranced by its expression of sadness. She was growing ever more attached to the stone angel. Better not get too attached, he’ll be back for it soon. Never mind, Naru. It’s just a statue… She returned to her studies but couldn’t help glancing up at it every moment she had.

An hour later, Naru found herself staring at the statue’s lovely face. She didn’t want to let it go. Damn…maybe I can ask him where he got it from. They may have another… But then again, he had asked her to look after it for him, there probably wasn’t another. Frustrated, she went into her lounge and found Alliana with the television on full blast, sitting a meter away, while Dragonball Z played on the screen. She was so consumed by it, her face fixed in an expression of happiness, that she didn’t even notice Naru was in the room. Naru called her name. She didn’t respond, instead she laughed because Goku was getting bashed in the head by a woman. Naru tapped her on the shoulder. Alliana finally looked up. She smiled.
“Would you like something to eat? Noodles?” Naru asked.
She nodded. “Yes, please. I’m hungry.”

Naru made them both some noodles and apple juice and placed it on the low table. “Alliana!” she called. “It’s ready!” She waited. Naru’s shoulder’s slumped. “Alliana?”
She walked into the room and tapped her on the shoulder. “It’s ready.”
“Oh! Oh…okay…” she turned the t.v off reluctantly and walked into the kitchen with Naru. “Itadakimasu!” they said before eating. They ate hungrily. Naru suddenly stopped and looked in the direction of her room. No…it would be silly of me to bring a statue into the kitchen. But I just want to see it a little more, besides, it’ll be gone soon. I’m forgetting what it looks like… “Sorry, be right back,” she said to Alliana.

She placed the statue on the kitchen table and sat down in relief. Alliana looked at her but said nothing. Naru continued eating, her eye on the pretty statue. What’s wrong with me dammit? It’s just a statue…
*

Naru found Alliana kneeling on the couch with her head beneath the curtain, looking outside. Naru sat beside her. “What are you looking at?”
“The stars,” she murmured. “Home should be somewhere out there…”
Naru sighed. She’d heard about life on other planets and people getting lost on earth. Of all the places to be stranded on…
*
Naru closed her eyes as she lay in bed and found herself imagining the statue in her mind. Oh man…it’s not that wonderful…who am I kidding? It’s beautiful and I don’t want to give it back! She sat up and rubbed her eyes. “Oh no! He might come back for it while I’m asleep!” she cried, paranoid. She threw the blankets off her and switched on the light to find the statue in the same place on her desk. She sighed. “Ahh…so beautiful…” She hugged it, as strange as she felt, she hugged the statue as though it were a close friend. “My statue…my angel…” she mumbled. She stood up and opened her wardrobe. She dragged out a large locked chest and opened it. She threw out some of the contents, old photos and memorabilia. Naru placed it in gently, looked at it one last time and closed the lid, locking it with three different locks. “No one will find you in here,” she said to herself as she placed it in a high shelf at the back. She placed her photos and other junk in front, hiding it and closed the wardrobe. Oh God…I’m turning into one of those weirdos…she thought.
*

The next morning, Naru woke with a start. Alliana was sitting on the edge of her bed staring at her. Alliana grinned. “Look what I made!” she exclaimed proudly, lifting up a piece of paper. It was a perfect drawn picture of Naru in anime form. “Wow,” Naru said, impressed. “It’s great.”

Naru was paranoid. She’d never been so paranoid. She kept checking to see if he had arrived to claim his statue yet. I’m a thief! She shook her head. No! It’s mine! She jumped when her doorbell suddenly rang. Alliana came in and looked at her. Naru shook her head fervently. She put a finger to her lips for silence. She waited. The doorbell rang again and then the person banged on the door. “Hello?” she heard. “Ah…what the hell,” the person said. Suddenly, the handsome guy appeared in Naru’s apartment with black feathers swirling around him. Her eyes widened in shock. He looked surprised to find her in the apartment. “Er…sorry. I’m Dark. I’ve just come to collect my statue,” he said, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.
“Um…er…what statue?” she stammered.
He looked up, his eyes widened in disbelief. “The statue I left here last night.”
Alliana opened her mouth, “A-“ Naru shot her a quick look that made her stop. Naru smiled at Dark. “Sorry, no statue.”
He coughed. “But I left it here with you last night!
“Nope, sorry, nothing. You must be mistaken.”
He seemed to struggle with his thoughts. “Well, I left an angel statue here and if you don’t give it back, I’m not leaving!” he declared.
Naru shrugged. “Fine. No statue here though.”
He stuttered. “Fine! I’ll just stay here until you give it to me then.”
“Fine.” She felt guilty but couldn’t help it. It wasn’t too bad, she thought. She kind of liked him anyway (not that she’d ever admit that to anyone, even herself). And the statue was all hers.

Fig     " Damn...." D thought to himself as the woman hustled out of the bar. He didn't get to talk to her as long as he liked. "At least I learned her name...'

"You got one foot in the door. Don't blow it!!" Han said in a muffled voice. Sighing to himself, D put down the orange juice to let him talk.

" I can't believe I'm asking you this, but what do you think I should do?' D asked in a defeated voice.

" You're asking me for advice?!" Han was surprised. Never throughout all of their adventures had D never asked for HIS advice on anything. Clearing his voice and putting on his most sophisticated face Han began, " Well, first off you can't just let her walk away like that. I would've gone after her. But it's too late now. You can maybe surprise her with something romantic like a rose or something."

" You're right... I could do something romantic to impress her. You think she would like it?"

" Sure she will! What woman wouldn't like to get a flower from a tall handsome fellow. I know that girl Doris would've sure liked that..." Han said with a smirk

" Don't mention the past. What's done is done,' D said in a tone which wiped away Han's smirk. " But you're right, I'm going to do it! I'm going to try and get this woman. Even if I have to do ludicrous things like giving her flowers!" Putting down his drink, D proceeded to walk out the door.

" What the hell! The orange juice costs 100!' The bartender shouted. D continued to walk pretending not to hear. He did not intend to pay for the orange juice. After all, it WAS orange juice. As he passed the bouncer by the door, he looked at him and asked,

" Are you going to make me pay for it?" The bouncer just shook his head indicating No and allowed him to pass.

" Nice intimidation...' Han congratulated him as they were out of hearing distance of the bouncer. " Now you got to go and find a place that sells flowers."

" Why buy, when you could get for free." D looked at the gardens in the Kenshin apartments. He didn't think Kenshin would mind if he took some, but he decided to ask him just in case. Luckily, he found Kenshin in the lobby. He was apparently sitting behind the counter doing nothing.

" Excuse me, Kenshin?" Kenshin jumped at the sound of his voice.

" Oh! Hi D, what's up?" he said with a nervous laugh.

" What's that I see behind the counter?" Hans asked with a mischievous smile on his face. ' Hentai 101?! What month is that, November?'

" Actually October! This one is featuring Relina from Gundam Wing!' he replied.

" Serious?!! I never saw that one. Bring it closer man!' With that, Hans and Kenshin began to ogle over the magazine.

" Kenshin, can I take some flowers from your garden?' D asked

" Sure, no problem,' came Kenshin's voice from deep inside the magazine.

" And can you also tell me what apartment Faye Valentine lives in?"

" 23/b...' Kenshin replied, he and Hans were in the middle of a debate on which position Relina looked best in.

" That right there with her foot in the air, I'm telling you!" Hans declared.

" Thanks alot Kenshin...let's go Hans," D said. Taking 6 roses, D wrapped a small piece of the fabric on his coat and wrapped them with it. Taking a deep breath, he approached apartment 23/b and prepared to knock.

~*Sayuri    Damn it, I can’t help it…there’s a girl beneath me…can’t help it…have to feel… Squall thought, Hello Kitty listening. He was on the bed, Hinata underneath him sleeping peacefully. Squally! Hello Kitty whispered in his mind. I’m almost done… She waved her wand, and somewhere above him a blue light appeared like an electric charge. Woah! That is bright magic! he thought to Hello Kitty. Squally…that isn’t my magic…

A flash and a blow to his face sent him flying against the wall. The most painful shockwave ran through him. Ouchie…
Footsteps followed. Uh oh, Kitty, do something quick or I’m in for a severe beating.
The pain knocked him unconscious shortly after his last thought. Hello Kitty waved her wand and turned him into Kaoru. Oopies, Hello Kitty thought. I didn’t change anything underneath…Maybe no one will notice. She waved her wand and tried to transport him into his apartment but the process was slow and the people who came in saw Squall as a woman unconscious on the ground.

Hello Kitty waved her wand and a cold splash of water fell over Squall’s face. He spluttered and woke up drowsily, pain shooting through his cheek. “Ouch…” He didn’t dare touch it, feeling the huge bruise forming. “Thanks for getting me out of there.”
Hello Kitty waved her wand. “This is the least I can do. Thank you for helping me, Squally.” The pain in his cheek began to fade until it felt like a tingle. “No problem.”

Squall sat on his balcony railing looking out into the calm night sky. Hello Kitty was softly snoring on his shoulder. A shooting star flew past and he made a wish. I wish…that…she would come back for me. The trail of light faded. He turned around to see Dark. Hello Kitty stirred and woke up. They talked for a moment; Squall knew exactly who Dark was talking about and considered fighting with him but changed his mind, his mood was too dark. I can do it, Squally, Hello Kitty said in his mind. Then do it, he said. Hello Kitty waved her wand and a halo of light spun around Kenshin apartments. What did you do? he asked.
Lookie. She waved her wand and mist rose in front of him, an image of a blue haired boy appeared. As the guy stepped into the light surrounding Kenshin apartments he began to transform, his limbs shrinking and disappearing. “What the…” the guy said, staring at his hands incredulously. He disappeared until he turned into a beautiful light-blue butterfly, fluttering about frantically. Harmless.
Squall smiled at Dark.

Looking out, he saw a dark figure picking roses out of a bush. He tied them with a piece of his ripped clothing. “What a fool,” Squall said to Hello Kitty. “How cheap…Doesn’t he know the better roses are closer to the lobby?”
*

For the morning he went to school and trained for an hour before returning to Kenshin apartments. He stopped at a vending machine and grabbed a can of coffee. A blue butterfly fluttered past and then came back to attack him with soft wings. Squall laughed. “You know I could just squash you into the wall or stick you in a spider web.” The butterfly hovered in midair for a moment and then flew away furiously. “That’s what I thought,” Squall said, drinking his coffee.

That afternoon he stopped by Dark’s apartment, looking for someone to have a round with. No one with any real sword skills besides Kenshin had been around for him to fight. No one answered. Hello Kitty had disappeared to wherever and Squall was bored. Most of the school girls were at school.

He stopped when he looked into an apartment and saw Dark. The scary girl with brown hair was also there, on top of him. She was kissing him. Squall screamed and swung the door open. He can’t have women if I don’t get any! “Hey!” Squall yelled.
The girl screeched, looking up, and scrambled away before running into the next room, slamming the door behind her. Dark scratched his head in confusion. “Eh…? What happened?” He looked up at Squall who had his gun-blade drawn. He grinned.
“Since when did you get so lucky?” Squall asked him.
Dark sat up, rubbing his lower back. “Ever since I stopped hanging around you,” he replied, smiling.
Squall laughed and threw a samurai sword to him. Wait…that makes sense…
Dark unsheathed the sword and was already fighting with him as he drew back, heading towards the roof. Squall took a short cut, leaping onto a balcony and pulling himself over the ledge onto the roof. Dark followed in pursuit, leaping onto a different balcony. Squall waited on the roof top, his sword pointed at Dark. The sun was bright and growing steadily hotter.
Dark stood, his sword pointed at the ground beside him. “Shut up!” he suddenly said after some thought.
Squall raised an eyebrow. “Talking to yourself again?”
Dark smirked and raised his sword. He ran in to attack and Squall blocked it with a clash of metal against metal. He pushed him back and focused energy into his sword. He released a series of swift moves, and then one final blow which knocked Dark back. Dark laughed. “You’re getting good.”
“What were you doing in that girl’s apartment?” Squall asked.
“Who? Naru? Oh, I’m staying there until I get my stone angel back. I told her to look after it and now she says she never saw it. I know it’s there! My stone angel…”
“You’re still obsessed with that thing? Why do you get chicks and all I get is an invisible kitten with lame magic?”
Dark grinned. “That’s because I have to share my body with someone else. At least you can eat Pocky sticks whenever you want.”
Squall shrugged. “True…”

“Oi!” a voice yelled. Squall and Dark stopped to look over. Kenshin stood with his sword over his shoulder, watching them. “This looks like fun…Let me in. I’ll take you both on at once.”
Squall and Dark looked at each other and grinned.

Astiwen fancies ROTK!
Faye lay peacefully in a large, warm, bubble bath, contemplating.

Hmm, what a week, she thought, sinking further into the bubbles. Her mind drifted to the past.

Her past…she couldn't remember a thing about it. It was a fact that she was a subject of some crytposleep experiment, and she was actually a lot older than she looked. She looked as if she was 23, when in reality, she was at least three times older.

Faye sighed. She was bored. Since she robbed the casino and got her money for the month, there was nothing to scheme for or plan. She sighed again. Why can't something happen? she thought. Why the hell is everything so boring?

Just then, she heard a loud commotion. It sounded like it was coming down the hall. Must be some stupid kids or pets or something, Faye thought. Whatever it is, it needs to stop!

She stepped out of the tub, slipped into a light blue silk robe, wrapped a towel around her head, and walked out of the bathroom. She grabbed a long-handled scrubbing brush to use as a weapon. She was just slipping on slippers when she heard a knock at her door.

"Who the hell could that be?" she asked herself. She walked to the door and opened it. Faye's eyes lit up when she saw that it was the tall, dark stranger she met at the restaurant.

"You again," she said in a soft voice. "Hmm, what brings you here?"

His dark eyes heavily examined her wet body. "Oh sorry," Faye said, pulling back a strand of wet hair. "I was in the bath. Um, what do you want?"

He took out some red roses that were wrapped in fabric. He handed them to her. "I thought…I thought you might like to have these."

Faye's eyes widened. "Ohhh…" she was amazed."Thank you, um, really, I don't know what to…"

All of a sudden, the loud commotion happened again. It was so close. Faye traced it to the exact apartment.

"I'm sorry, I have to do something first," she said to the stranger, handing him back the flowers. She walked past him and burst into the loud apartment room.

Inside, were two young men in some sort of swordfight. Faye was pretty pissed.

"What the hell is going on?" she yelled, as she held to the scrubbing brush tightly. The two guys stopped and looked at her. "Don't you know that other people in this building live here too? Must you be so goddamn loud? God…"

The only response she received was two jaws dropping.

mirror on the wall
Dark was right to trust Squall. When they had got back into their apartment, Uzumi was happy and Satoshi, the guy that was after Daisuke, or as Dark was convinced the stone angel, was gone. Daisuke was asleep and Dark was exhausted. He slumped onto the couch and fell asleep too.
Dark awoke at the sound of Daisuke making breakfast. Daisuke must have transformed when Dark was sleeping. Uzumi jumped up and down on the table excitedly at the blueberry pancakes Daisuke was cooking.
'Morning,' Dark said sleepily.
"Morning," he replied out loud.
'Smells good. What is it?'
"Blueberry pancakes" he smiled proudly. Dark groaned.
'Pocky sticks!'
Daisuke rolled his eyes, as he served a small pancake on Uzumi's plate and one for himself.
'Hey-hey-hey! What about me?' Dark questioned. Daisuke got out a pocky stick packet from the cupboard and ate one reluctantly.
'No-no-no! You eat them in handfuls, not one at a time!'
Daisuke then grabbed five at once and shoved them in his mouth to shut Dark up. He then looked at his pancake longingly and picked up his knife and fork.
'More! More!' Dark demanded. Daisuke ate the whole box of pockey sticks for Dark, and was so full he no longer wanted his pancake. Although it didn't go to waste. Uzumi dragged it off his plate and ate it. Dark transformed.
'Hey, what are you doing?' Daisuke said.
"I'm going to get my angel back. I left it with...my other angel," he said, eyes lighting up. Dark left the apartment to look for Kenshin, the owner. He found him in the hallway, and for the first time, he wasn't perving on some gorgeous lady. He was sword-fighting fiercely with an opponent.
'We should help him,' Daisuke said, concerned.
"Er, yeah...right," Dark muttered. He walked over to Kenshin's office away from Kenshin.
'Hey! Where are you going? What are you doing?' Daisuke said.
"I'm saving us time from being cut into piece's. Why interfere in their fight if they're evidently enjoying it, when we could use this chance to find out what apartment my two angels live at?"
Daisuke groaned hopelessly, thinking it was a bad idea to steal. But that thought turned out ridiculous. They were thieves. Daisuke let him continue half reluctantly. Dark jumped over the counter and looked through the files.
"Got it!" Dark said, reading the name of the apartment. He placed the file down on the table and disappeared to the front of the girl's apartment. Dark knocked. He could hear noises, but no answer. He knocked harder. Maybe she couldn't hear him.
"Ah, what the hell," he said impatiently and disappeared, then re-appeared inside the apartment. Naru and the little girl stood, staring at him.
"Er...sorry. I'm Dark. I've come to collect my statue," he smiled cheekily, scratching his head in embarrassment.
“Um…Er…what statue?” she stammered. Dark's mouth fell open in disbelief. She continued to say she didn't have the statue.
'How could she not know what statue?' Dark asked, disbelieving.
'She's lying. I can see it,' Daisuke said. Dark trusted him. Daisuke was skilled with that sort of stuff.
"Fine! I’ll just stay here until you give it to me then,” Dark yelled.
"Fine!" She yelled back, looking triumphant.
Dark sat himself on the ground in front of her childishly. And she turned her back and left the room stubbornly. The little girl walked up to Dark and leaned closer, looking deeply into his eyes. Dark looked at her in an annoyed way.
"Don't worry about Naru. She'll come around," she said sweetly.
"Naru, eh?" Dark said interestingly. The little girls face expression changed into a dark look.
"I'm not talking to you! I'm talking to him," she said.
'Eh? me?' Daisuke said.
"You can see him, little girl?" Dark said curiously.
"Yes. Through your eyes," she said. Daisuke transformed into himself, black feathers fell to the ground. The girl smiled widely. Daisuke held out his hand to her.
"My name is Daisuke," he smiled back.
"I'm Alliana," she blushed, taking his hand, and then gave him a hug. Naru walked in. Alliana looked back at Naru, and then at Dark. Dark? Alliana screamed and scrambled back, picking up the turtle and threw it at Dark's head.
"Ouch!" he said, rubbing his head. Naru stood over him, looking disgusted.
"You weren't doing anything you shouldn't have?" she said angrily.
"He hugged me!" Alliana cried.
"Yup! That’s right, I did!" Dark said. Naru picked up the turtle in frustration and hit him over the head.
A-ta-ta!!" he yelled. "Stop it, both of you!" Dark caught a glimpse of Naru wearing a faint smile as she looked down at him, but her face changed as she saw that Dark noticed and she swung the turtle at him, but Dark dodge and grinned. She looked dangerous though, so he looked down in an ashamed way and sat still for her to hit him. Even when she looked dangerous, it was cute, Dark thought. Naru hit him hard over the head with the turtle, pleased. She marched off. Dark sat, rubbing his head comfortingly. Daisuke was trying not to laugh.
“What did you do that for?” Dark whispered in an annoyed voice, still rubbing his head.
‘I don’t think she knew we’re…different,’ Daisuke answered. Alliana looked at Dark expectantly for Daisuke to come back. He sighed and let Daisuke transform again. Daisuke and Alliana smiled at each other. She took his hand.
“Come, I’ll show you some of my favorite anime,” she insisted. “Are you hungry?”
“No, thanks,” Daisuke said. “But, yes, show me your favorite anime.”
*
An hour had gone by and Alliana and Daisuke sat against the foot of the couch watching anime and laughing. Dark was completely bored and irritated. Naru hadn’t been seen since she hit Dark on the head.
‘Psst! Daisuke,’ Dark whispered.
‘What’s up? And why are you whispering?’ Daisuke said
‘Because of that little girl. She’s evil and knows things. She may even be able to hear me. Listen, tell her that you’re going to…the bathroom…to fix your hair, or something, so we can get that angel back!’ Dark insisted.
‘Er…Okay, then. Fine,’ Daisuke replied. “I’ll be back in a minute Alliana, I’m just going to go to the bathroom,” he smiled at her.
“Yeah, yeah. Hurry though, or you may miss the best part,” she said happily, not taking her eyes off the television.
Daisuke walked out of the room, transformed into Dark, and they looked around for the angel, avoiding Naru, wherever she was.
‘I can feel it. It’s close,’ Dark said.
‘I can feel it too,’ Daisuke said.
‘In there, that closet, has to be,’ Dark pointed. He walked over to the closet and touched the doorknob. A hand fell on his shoulder. His eyes widened in terror. He turned around. Naru was behind him.
“Argh..ha-ha…Toilet?” he smiled. Naru pointed to the end of the hall, where a sign on a door said Toilet. He sighed and straightened up.
“Listen-” Dark began, but Uzumi appeared out of no where and pushed Dark over (U-mi!!!!!). Dark fell on top of Naru. He looked at Naru for a long time, lost in her eyes, before Dark realised he was too close to her. Feeling gentleman like and respectable he pulled away from her reluctantly. Naru looked a mixture of taken aback and angry. Dark helped her up.
“Er…Sorry. My pet. Uzumi...hehe, cute.” And walked off to the toilet frowning, leaving Naru to stand there.

Akira Kureshida
Naru wanted him to come back actually, but stayed where she was. How did he know which closet the statue was in? And he’d gotten so close! “Phew,” she said to herself. She walked into the room and found Alliana glued to the t.v again. “Alliana…that might not be so good for your eyes…” She wasn’t listening. Naru tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around slowly. “Yes?” she smiled.
“We need to talk about how you’re getting home.”
Alliana scratched her head. “Home? Oh right, home, Enthos. Well, I really, really think home can wait for now since those evil Amorian are still after me and we have no way of getting there without a space ship and Gohan is about to become super saiyan so we’ll wait just a little longer…” she said hurriedly, turning to look at the t.v screen again. Anime is such a waste of life, Naru thought sadly. And to think I actually pay for a 24 hour anime channel.

The morning passed and noon came. She spent the whole time studying and keeping guard over the angel at the same time. Bored, she went into the lounge to find Alliana watching another anime. She had left all her jewels in Naru’s jewelry case. Naru smiled and sat watching anime for a few minutes.

Dark entered the room, his face red with embarrassment. What has he done now? She looked at him suspiciously. He grinned sheepishly. Naru left the room and walked slowly into her bedroom. She checked to see that the angel was still there. Nothing had been moved and everything was fine so what did he have to be embarrassed about? She returned to the room to find Dark chatting with Alliana as if they were best friends one moment and then as Naru walked in, Alliana screeched and began to bash Dark on the head. “What have you done to her?” Naru screamed at him.
“Nothing! Nothing! I swear!” He held up his hands in defense and walked towards the front door in the next room. Alliana turned back to her television.

Naru followed Dark. He stood by the phone table playing with the cord, looking suspicious. He looked up at her as though he didn’t know she was standing there and then smiled.
“Why are you so weird?” Naru asked, her hand on her hip.
He looked offended. “I’m not weird! I just have a few personal issues…and who are you to say who’s weird and who isn’t? You’re the one who stole my stone angel and then denied it!”
She pretended to look shocked. “I don’t what you’re talking about. There’s no angel…” She walked past him, and flicked her hair. Naru pulled open the curtain facing the entrance and then turned to face him. Silence followed. The phone suddenly rang loudly and they both jumped. She calmed herself and walked towards it. He stood to the side. Naru looked at the phone table and saw a gigantic black spider with giant fangs and razor-type jagged legs. She screeched and jumped on top of Dark who fell back on the floor. She shut her eyes and hugged Dark. She remembered their first kiss. Before she knew it, she was getting tingly and warm and then she was suddenly kissing him again. Wow…he’s good…not that I know what good is… The front door swung open. “Hey!” Naru looked up in shock and screamed. Uh oh this isn’t good for my reputation. She jumped off Dark and ran into the lounge with Alliana and slammed the door. She leaned against it in relief and breathed. Alliana looked up at her. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, nothing at all,” she laughed nervously. Alliana fixed her eyes on the screen again.

Uh oh, I need to get out of here. He might come back and then everything will be awkward… Naru looked up to see the balcony. “Perfect… Alliana, do you mind staying here with Dark a while until I get back? I just have to go…do something. And make sure that jerk doesn’t go through my things!”
Alliana nodded and waved her hand. “Okay…yep, you go do that.”
Naru made a rope with her curtains and climbed down the balcony from the first floor. She shut her eyes tight the whole time, feeling queasy and light-headed from the height.
She landed in a bush and then got up when something light brushed against her face. A beautiful blue butterfly was flitting about wildly. “Wow…” she breathed. “So pretty. I bet Alliana would like you.” Looking around, she had nothing to catch it with so she clasped her hands around it. She could feel it tickling her skin. Walking into the lobby, she found a jar used to hold pencils and tipped them out. No one was around anyway. She placed the butterfly inside and put her hand over it to seal it. It fluttered like crazy, bashing itself against the glass. Naru looked inside at it. “You’re a freaky butterfly but cute.” She ripped a piece of curtain off and placed it over the jar, keeping it in place with an elastic band. She stuck a few holes in the top with a sharp pencil and smiled. The butterfly went berserk and then fell dead on the bottom. Naru’s face drooped. “Eh?” She shook the jar. “Oh well, I can stick it up in a display…now where can I find some pins…” she looked around and then noticed that the butterfly was going berserk again. “Oh…never mind.”

Walking outside, with the glass jar in hand, she looked around casually looking for some place to go and then something red glinting in a thick bush caught her eye. She walked over curiously and then stood next to the bush examining it. “Hey…I don’t remember seeing a bush here before…” She brushed aside a branch with her hand to feel smooth metal, red and shiny. “E-to…” Naru pulled off the rest of the branches and then stood back trying to figure out what she was seeing. “A spaceship!” she cried in excitement. “We can get Alliana home with this, maybe. And she’ll take you with her too!” Naru looked in the jar to find the butterfly pressed up against the glass staring at the ship too. “Maybe I could ask whoever owns it…but…they wouldn’t drive us out of space! I may have to steal it…” she murmured, and scratched her chin in contemplation.

~*Sayuri     Squall and Dark fought against Kenshin but somehow, he was way too skillful for them to even get a scratch on him. Kenshin was about to attack again when he suddenly stopped mid-way, mouth hanging open. Squall had his sword raised and then followed his line of vision. Down below, several school girls were on their way home, wearing short skirts and all. Squall joined him on the roof-side to giggle and watch (^_^). Squall looked over to see Dark fighting with himself, then he changed into the young crimson-haired Daisuke. Squall nodded over at him. Daisuke replied and then walked away. Squall heard Dark’s voice call out. “See you again later, Squall! I’m not finished yet. Wait Daisuke…can’t we just…school girl…come-“
Squall watched with Kenshin as two senior girls walked past, their little checkered skirts blowing around them in the wind. “Woah…sekushi…” Kenshin mumbled.
Hello Kitty suddenly appeared out of nowhere, Squall who was hanging off the side stumbled and then before he could say Hello, he was falling to the ground. He looked up, dazed to see Kenshin’s face looking down at him from the roof. He had fallen a long way. He fell unconscious, hoping the pain wouldn’t kick in anytime soon.

Squall woke up in a hospital bed, looking around him in confusion. His head and his left shoulder was throbbing with pain. Hello Kitty was standing on his bed, twisting her foot into the blanket, her head down. “Shorry Squally, I didn’t mean it…”
He groaned. “Ow…”
He heard a strange sort of laughing coming from the seat beside him. “Heh heh heh…Heh heh…” Squall looked and saw Kenshin looking at the nurse. Squall’s attention was diverted to the same place. The nurse, in her uniform was bending over the other patient’s bed. She was humming happily to herself, and then she turned around to see Squall staring at her. Her face reddened and she walked over. “What were you staring at?” she scowled, her hands on her hips. Her name tag read Ria.
“Er…heh heh. My head hurts….” Squall said, looking from the nurse to Kenshin. Kenshin was looking away, whistling to himself. Hello Kitty was sulking at the end of the bed, paying no attention. The nurse came closer and began to fiddle with a bandage on his head. Then Ria whacked him.
“Owie, owie, owie…” It hurt.
The nurse then replaced it. “You’re fine. You’ll have to stay a day longer; you may have concussion or brain damage.”
“A day…” Squall looked at Kenshin to see him staring at the nurse from behind.
“A day? He may have terrible, terrible internal damage. You’ll have to keep him longer. Much, much longer…” Kenshin said, still staring at the nurse.
“Perhaps…I’ll have to check with the doctor.” The nurse turned and left.
*

Kenshin had gone wandering through the hospital to check out more nurses and Squall sat with Hello Kitty. “Heal me, dammit.”
Hello Kitty looked up at him. “I can’t…”
“Why not?”
“Because…my wandy is brokened.” She held up her wand which had snapped in half.
Squall’s mouth dropped open. “What do you mean? Can’t you fix it? Or get another one?”
She thought and then nodded. “Maybe we can sticky-tape it together. Or we could glue it.”

“Where did you get a wand from anyway?” Squall asked as Hello Kitty taped her wand together.
“I bought it.”
“Where from?”
Hello Kitty finished. “There! Oh…I gotzed it from Kmart.”
She waved it in the air and then pointed it at Squall. It fizzled and popped. Hello Kitty looked down at it and then shrugged. She waved it around again and then Squall’s pain began to disappear. “Good, it’s working.”
Hello Kitty looked at him in confusion. “Um…um…I think I’ll do it again.”
She waved it around and then the wand caught fire. She screamed and threw it into the air. Squall screamed, or squealed girlishly to those who heard it, as the wand fell on the sheets and caught fire. He scrambled out and then scratched his head. “Ah crap…this isn’t good.” His whole bed was on fire and then the sprinklers came on, drenching him. He grabbed his sword and then jumped out of the window to the ground below, running towards the apartments. He looked down and noticed he had changed into Kaoru. He was still wearing his casual clothes.
*
He reached the apartments and realized he had no key. He climbed up onto a different balcony and then saw Dark in Naru’s apartment, sneaking through a girl’s bedroom. He knocked and then Dark jumped, looking around him in fright, covering his head. He calmed when he looked out to see Squall. Then he raised an eyebrow. Dark slid open the door and looked at Kaoru in suspicion. He looked Kaoru up and down, noticing the familiar clothes. “Um…who are you and why are you wearing Squall’s clothes?”
“Shh…it’s me. It’s Squall. I can’t get into my apartment. I need-“
Dark suddenly turned and then pulled Squall inside, shoving him underneath the bed. He saw another pair of feet and the scary girl’s voice. “What are you doing in here? Come outside, Dark. I found something!”

mirror on the wall    Daisuke walked down to Naru's apartment and was about to open the door when Dark stopped him.
'Stop, you idiot!'
'Why?'
Daisuke said, stopping himself from twisting the doorknob.
'How would it look for you to walk into her apartment?'
'Oh...right,'
he said, and transformed into Dark.

It had been an interesting day. It had been a long time since Dark and Squall fought, and was even more interesting to have Kenshin join. His skills were beautiful. Although, when Squall and Kenshin got more interested in schools girls than fighting, he left to get some pockey sticks on Darks command instead of returning home. But now they were home, at Naru's apartment.

Dark opened the door. Inside, Naru and Alliana were whispereing. They stopped adrubtly and looked over at them. Naru leaned over Alliana.
"Would you excuse us for a moment?" Naru said to Alliana. She nodded, and shot a short scowl in Dark's direction before leaving the room. He stood blankly, wondering if he had done anything wrong. Dark walked over to the kitchen bench and placed the box of pockey sticks on top of it. He looked at her, waiting for her to speak, but she said nothing.
"What is it?" he said suspeciously.
"I was just wondering..." she said, tapping her fingers together, "where you came from?"
He rasied an eyebrow.
'Is this some kind of trick?' he asked Daisuke.
'No, I don't think so. How could she think we're suspecious abnormal freaks?'
'I think she's onto us, how cute,'
Dark declared.
Naru blinked as she waited for an answer, while Dark stood blankly as he had his conversation inside his mind.

The doorknob turned to Naru's apartment door opened. They both looked over. An excited feeling erupted inside of Dark, but it wasn't Darks feelings. It was Daisuke. Hinata stood at the door. Daisuke smiled at her.
'What are you doing!?' Dark shouted. He was no longer in form. Daisuke's feeling had triggered a transformation. Dark transformed back into his form. Hinata screamed and slammed the door. She had seen both sides of them.
Naru stared blankly at the door, her eyebrows twitching, then looked back at Dark, who was sweating and looked pale. She hadn't seen them transform.
'We have to go after her!' Daisuke yelled in panic.
"What is it?" Naru said.
'Don't you think I know that!' Dark yelled back.
"E..ehehe...hheee...nothing. Nothing is happening," Dark said. "Why, do you think something happened?" he asked in a paranoid tone.
"I-"
"Wonderful, e...hehe," Dark said.
'You idiot!' Dark said. 'Why did you do that, you fool!'
'I'm sorry.'

Naru's face went red at Dark's strangness.
"I have to go!" Dark declared loudly. Alliana came running in and kicked his ankle.
"Ouch! What was that for?" he said, backing away from them both.
"You promised me you would watch anime with me!" she said.
"I did not!" he argued.
"Not you!," she yelled, hitting his legs with her fists.
'Stop wasting time!' Daisuke said.
"Alliana, please stop," Naru said, picking her up into her arms. Dark looked at Alliana seriously.
"I'm sorry, Alliana. I must go," he said.
Alliana stared at him for a moment in thought, and then nodded. She knew those words were from Daisuke and not Dark. Dark looked at Naru.
"Sorry," he said, and run out of the apartment into the hallway, closing the door behind him.

'I can feel her,' Daisuke said. 'We will transport there.'
'Okay,'
Dark said, and disapeared.
'I found her,' Daisuke said. Dark reappeared in a hallway in front of Hinata, who almost ran into him. She stopped. Daisuke transformed into himself.
"Le-" Daisuke began but her right hand came swiftly towards his face. He dodged it in time. Hinata shot into swift graceful movements. Daisuke wanted to explain himself to her. He didn't want her to be scared. The blue light that came from her hands stung him in places that almost hit. Dark was inside his mind, giving short screams of pain and telling him that she can fight well. Daisuke took Hinata's wrist, his face expression serious.
"Stop! Clam down," he said, his face slowly softening. She stared at him and them fell to her knees. They were like broken glass eyes. Daisuke didn't ask, but was surprised by them. Daisuke got to his knees too.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"I am Daisuke. Pleased to meet you," he said softly. "My other...half," he said, choosing his words carefully, "is Dark. We're different. Cursed. That is why we are like this. I'm sorry. You understand, don't you?"
"Mmm," she said, bowing her head. "I do, understand. I am sorry, I have not been thinking clearly today. I am not sure why I got frightened. Sorry," she said, playing with her hands.
"I'm sorry...If I scared you," he said. Hinata shook her head.
"Don't be. Don't worry about it," she said. Daisuke smiled at her.
"Will you keep my...our secret?" he asked. She nodded.
"Yes."
"Thank you."
"I am Hinata. Nice to meet you," she introduced.
"Where did you learn to fight like that? And what was that blue light that came from your hands?" he asked. She looked up at him.
"I am a ninja. And the blue light is part of my jutsu," she explained, her eyes slowly returned to crystal blue eyes.
"Amazing," he said. She gave a small smile.
"I have to go," she said finally, picking herself up from the ground.
"Okay," he said, standing up too. He wanted to ask if he could see her tomorrow, but he froze. She gave another smile and put her two fingers in front of her, disappearing in a puff of smoke.
'Wow...' Dark breathed. 'She's cool...and cute.'

Fig     After the embaressing intervention with the two noisy neighbours, Faye and D returned to her apartment.

" Let me put on something a little more comforatable." she said as D took a seat on her couch. As soon as she left the room, Han started by saying,

" Did you see those *mumble*" D cut him off mid-sentence.

" Hans, I thank you for your advice from before, but please be quiet or else..." D whispered. He didn't want Faye to know about Hans. Or at least not is yet. Looking around the apartment, D realised that it was MUCH nicer than his own. Faye had more rooms, bigger T.V., nicer furniture.

" What does she do? How can she afford all of this?" D wondered. He knew rooms like these weren't cheap. Interrupting his train of thought, came the lady-like voice of Faye.

" So Mr. D, why don't you put down your sword and take off your hat or something?" she asked as she walked into the room. She had on a yellow sleeveless top, a short white pants and a pair of yellow sandals. Her blue hair fell down almost reaching her shoulders. It was still wet, but it complimented her beauty.

" Oh, right.' D didn't realise that he did not put down his sword. ' Bad habit." he said in a sheepish voice.

" Habit?' Faye said. He could tell it peeked her interest. 'So what DO you do Mr. D.' She asked sliding unto the couch. Putting his hat on the edge of the couch and leaning his sword carefully on the wall, he positioned it so he could grab it if anything happened. ' From how you move, you act as if you are a wanted man. You're a very careful person. You observe your surroundings and act on impulse with accuracy to match your speed." D did not provide a reaction to show she was impressed. He instead, still keeping his same facial expression, turned to her nodded.

" And you my dear have knowledge and beauty that suprasses you. You appear innocent, but you possess the necessary skills to overcome any opposition you may find yourself to face." he replied studying her closely. She was taken back, he could actually here her the soft gasp in her voice. ' I am a vampire hunter."

" Oh really?' she said. D realised she recovered quickly from his comment. " I've seen one or two around, but the others weren't like you. You're different. I can't put my finger on it, but you're definitely different from the rest.' D simply nodded at her. Suddenly he heard a soft growl being emitted, " WHY DON'T YOU TALK MUCH!! YOU'RE SO QUIET!!!" she exploded while jumping to her feet. Crossing her arms in front of her chest, she glared at him angrily. Laughing softly to himself, D stood up after finally finding his comfy spot on the couch and towered over her. He looked down into Faye's eyes and said,

" Sometimes, actions speak louder than words.' With that, he leaned down and kissed her on her cheek. " I'll talk to you later Faye." Taking his hat and sword, D proceeded to the door. He heard a soft goodbye as he closed the door behind him.

A day had passed since D had last seen Faye. He had not seen her, but he thought of her alot. Mainly because of Han.

" I can't believe how big they were!!!" he kept exclaiming. D was shocked to find out that Kenshin liked to spar wth his guests. After a few rounds with him in the morning, D realised that he was more skilled than he let on. The two both did not deal killer blows, but their attacks could've leveled armies.

" A reveresed edge sword.." D noticed after the battle.

" Yes. That is the path I have chosen for myself." Kenshin said as he put his sword back in its scabbard. Wiping a bead of sweat from his head, he left the room and a perverted smile on his face let D knew that he was no longer Kenshin the Samurai, but Kenshin the Manager. On his way back to his apartment, D heard a loud scream from a girl.

" Someone's in danger!" he thought to himself. Running down a flight of stairs, he followed the direction where he heard the voice. After awhile he stopped. He was not sure where she could have gone. He then heard the sound of the same girl struggling.

" I must intervene!" he said outloud.

" Yea, especially if it's a hot chick!" Hans added in. Turning the corner, D only saw a puff of smoke and a person with blue hair.

" Where is she?" D asked in his soft yet dangerous voice. He had his hand on his sword and it was pulled out halfway. The person studied D heavily and replied,

" I have no idea what you are talking about sir. Who is she?"

" The girl." D stated with his hand still on his sword.

" I don't know what you want, but I think it would be in your best interest to leave me alone."

" Or else?" D asked still not flinching.

" Or else there's going to be a problem." came a younger voice, but from the same person.

" Then I think we're going to have a problem here." inputted Han.

~*Sayuri    Squall woke up and bumped his head. “Ah crap!” He looked around him and then realised he was under someone’s bed. He had fallen asleep. The apartment was silent and Squall began to fall asleep again, wondering if he should risk getting up. He felt something strange and soft on his chest and then realised he was Kaoru again. Damn revelations, he thought. I really should stay asleep.
Minutes later he had crawled out from beneath the bed and began to rummage through Naru’s wardrobe. He picked up a sexy black lace underwear and held it close to him, blushing. He hung it over his shoulder and then found a little red dress with thin string-straps. Ooh, nice. He looked around and listened for any signs of people. Hearing nothing, he ripped off all his clothes and then began to put on the underwear and dress. Kaoru looked in the mirror. I’m so beautiful. Kaoru sighed. I need shoes. He found some knee-high lace-up boots and put them on. I’m sexy! Kaoru thought one last time, admiring herself in the mirror. She attached her gun-blade to her back. Shoving all her earlier clothes into a bundle and dumping them underneath Naru’s bed, she found herself wandering through the empty kitchen, looking for food. She jumped for joy upon seeing a gigantic box full of Pocky sticks and grabbed a few packets, ripping them open to munch down the contents. “Mm…Pocky…” Kaoru froze, feeling someone tap her on a butt cheek. She turned slowly, looking down. “Hehe…” Kaoru gulped and managed a small smile.

The little girl pouted and put her hands on her hips. “How come you’re eating all my Pocky?”
“This is your Pocky?”
She scratched her head. “Well…some of it is mine, the rest is Naru’s…”
Kaoru backed up against the kitchen counter and looked around for an escape route.
“I’m Alliana, come watch anime with me and I won’t call Naru!”
“Er…I don’t know. I really should be looking for Dark.”
On hearing Dark’s name, Alliana’s eyes darkened and her face reddened. “What do you have in relation with him?” she said in a cold voice.
This little girl is quite scary…maybe she gets it from Naru…”Err…he-he, nothing, nothing. I meant some other guy…Daisuke.”
Alliana’s face brightened and she smiled. “Oh, that’s okay then.”
Phew! “I’m Kaoru. Hajime mashite, Alliana.”
She bowed. “Nice to meet you, Kaoru. I am a Princess from planet Enthos.”
Kaoru blinked. “Cool. I’ve been there once, I think you’re father hired me to fight in the last Rain war. Those damn Amorians are tough, they’d rip your head off with their fingernails if you aren’t careful.”
Alliana’s face brightened. “Really?” she asked.
Kaoru nodded. “And Kenshin, the Manager of this apartment block was fighting right beside me. I thought you looked familiar…”
Aliiana hugged Kaoru around the waste.
“I can take you home if we find a ship or something,” Kaoru said.
Alliana looked up into Kaoru’s eyes. “I don’t want to go back. We don’t have anime on Enthos!”

They both jumped as a loud crash sound in the living room. Whatever it was, it was too big and too loud to be human. It made a roar cry that rumbled through the apartments. The cry of an Amorian waiting to kill. “Damn…I can’t take on one of these alone in my state…”

Benihime

“I wonder what D’s up to,” Faye said in a singsong voice. She was dining in an outdoor café. Since their encounter a day ago, Faye had D on her mind. It had been awhile since she felt this way. The minute they met, she had felt a connection between them of sorts.

“And he’s a vampire hunter. How irresistible is that?” Faye said to herself with a smile. “Well, I wonder what he will say when he finds out that I’m a bounty hunter and a big time gambler.”

She paid for her check and looked at the picture in front of her. It was a picture of the latest bounty on the run that was worth quite a lot. “All I have to do is capture this freak, and I’ll be able to buy me that tennis bracelet and the diamond necklace,” said Faye dreamily.

She got up from her table when something caught her eye that made her quickly sit back down.

Two men, in khaki suits, entered the café. One was tall and blond, the other, short with long brown hair.

“Shit, what are they doing here?!” Faye whispered to herself. Very carefully, she left her table, slipped on a pair of dark glasses, and headed toward the exit. She was almost home free until she tripped over a kid’s skateboard. She fell on a nearby waiter, and together, they all caused a commotion. The two men looked in that direction. They had spotted her.

“Shit!” Faye said under her breath as she jumped up and started running. The men followed her.

She dashed out in the street, almost getting run over by a huge truck. She then ran through a marketplace, behind the counters, through doors, under tables—anywhere to get away from the men.

She re-crossed the street again and looked behind her. She didn’t see them. She ran to the Kenshin apartments to seek sanctuary.

She got to her floor, when she heard a noise. She turned the corner and saw D. “D!” she called out, but noticed he was talking to someone.

She ran up to him anyway and grabbed his arm, interrupting their conversation. “D,” Faye breathed out, “you have to help me.” She then looked at the guy D was talking to. He looked familiar and his presence felt dark and disturbing. He smiled at her and turned to walk away.

D was about to interject, but Faye pulled him away and led him to her apartment.

“It’s nice to see you again, Faye,” he said, taking a seat on her couch as she closed the door. “Even though I was in the middle of doing something, it’s very pleasant to see you.”

Faye looked worried. “I need your help,” she said.

          “What is it? What’s wrong?”

She took a deep breath. “T-these men—loan sharks—are in town and they are after me. And I feel I might be in danger.”

          “Loan sharks? But—“

“Oh D, won’t you help me? Could you protect me from them? Please?” Faye burst out, as she fell to her knees and clasped her hands together. “Please?”

Akira Kureshida    "I think it's dying," Naru said thoughtfully, looking at the drooping wings of the blue butterfly in the jar. "Maybe I should put it out of its misery..." She smiled when it flapped a wing and twitched a leg. She leaned back on the grass and sighed, falling asleep.

She woke up hours later next to the red spaceship and wondered if she should get back into the apartment. Alliana would still be in there watching anime, no doubt. If she was hungry she could always eat Pocky sticks. A loud explosion made her sit up and search around the place she heard it. It came directly from her apartment. Naru got up and ran, the little butterfly in the jar hitting the walls of the glass like crazy, and she sped until she stopped in the middle of a walkway where a large 'thing' was blocking her way. It was silver and was apart of something huge that had imbedded itself into the apartments. "Umm..." Naru touched it and then ran a hand over the smooth shiny silver. On the other side where her apartment was, she could hear sword fighting and screaming. There was more than one person. She began to panic. "Alliana!" she screamed. "Alliana!! Are you there??"
She waited a moment and then after a grunt, a girl screamed out, "She's okay, she's safe with Dark, Naru!"

Naru paused. "Who are you?" she asked.
"Er...hehe," the girl said before she screamed and then spoke again. The fighting continued and it sounded fierce. "I'm Kaoru!"
Naru jumped up and down. "Oh no! Is my apartment okay?!"
"What! What kind of question is that???" Kaoru screamed. "This thing is huge and might kill us all and you're worried about you're apartment?"
Naru heard Kenshin cry out as a loud clang of metal resounded on the other side. "Oi, Kenshin! I'm not paying for damages! You better have insurance!"
Naru could feel someone rolling their eyes. She couldn't see it but she knew. Oh, she knew. She could sense it like a radar when someone rolled their eyes at her. "Hey! Don't give me that look. When I get over there, I swear!!!"

Something sharp swiped Naru on the shoulder and tore into her skin. She turned around and then screeched until her throat hurt. The thing was gigantic and scary. It reminded her of an oriental dragon with huge razor teeth and a snake tongue. It's scales were black and red with dangerous talons. Its mouth was dripping with blood and saliva and its pupils were crimson with silver eyelids. It advanced on her.

"Hey! Naru! Are you okay? What is it? Oh shit! Don't tell me there's more than one!" Kaoru yelled.

Naru was frozen in fear. She glanced inside the jar to see the butterfly had fainted. "Uh...hehe," Naru said. She stammered to the creature, "Hello...nice to meet you...I'm Naru..."

mirror on the wall    Dark was running toward Naru’s apartment. A big bang had sounded and he distinctively heard Alliana scream, and the ghostly ring of metal travelling through the halls of Kenshin apartments. He burst through the door into the apartment and saw Kenshin and Squall, in girl form, fighting against a sewer smelling dragon looking creature. His mouth dropped in disbelief. What the hell was going on?
“Dark! Take Alliana! Get out of here!” Squall demanded in a sexy womanly voice.
“No! I can help-”
“Shut up and take her Dark! This is important. They are after her!” she said, slashing the dragon across its nose and blood sprayed across the room onto the walls. Dark hesitated until Squall’s sexy seductive eyes met his in a serious meaningful look of trust in him. He nodded and picked up a historical Alliana. He took her into the halls and started to run for it. She kept hitting him hard on his shoulders, calling for Daisuke. Sick of being beaten he shouted.
“Transform Daisuke and help me!”
His purple eyes and hair faded to brown and then red and shrank a few centimetres in height
“It’s okay, Alliana,” Daisuke said, patting her head comfortingly as he ran down the halls. She looked up with watery eyes into his and smiled. She started to cry and hug Daisuke tight.
“Please take care of me,” she sobbed.
“I will,” Daisuke said. “Don’t worry.”
An ashen-blue hair guy, in his 20’s, wearing an unusual head protector poked his head out of a door that was ajar and blinked blankly. He watched Daisuke run passed him, breaking eye contact only when Daisuke turned to look ahead of him instead of behind. Feeling that the best place for now wouldn’t be somewhere in the apartment he covered Alliana protectively in his arms before jumping out of a closed window. The glass shattered and shimmered in the sun’s rays of the warm day. It appeared to him that the sun hadn’t taken in account of what was happening there, but still the sun shone happily down on Kenshin hotel. Blood dripped down his arms and face from the sharp glass fragments. Landing on the pavement like a cat he ran down the street, catching eye of Naru who had thrown a glass jar at another disgusting looking dragon, and Hinata walking sadly up the street on the other side. Hinata appeared to not have noticed the dragons because she kept hers eyes on the ground instead of in front of her. He tore his eyes away and turned a corner, jumping into some bushes. Behind him was a park, where kids played, swinging back and forth on them, laughing in their enjoyment. They were now a block away from Kenshin apartments. Alliana wiped her tears as Daisuke placed her on the soft green grass.
“Are you okay?” he asked. She nodded, lips trembling. He was glad to see she had no scratches from when they jumped out of the window. “You can go play on the swings with the other kids, if you want.”
She stood shakily and nodded, sniffing, and walked over to where the other kids were.
“We’ll have to keep an eye on her,” Dark said. He had transformed. The wind blew his few strands of hair that were over his eyes across his face; the trees branches also swayed, and sunlight poured through the gaps between the leaves.
‘Yeah,’ said Daisuke. ‘I just hope Squall will be okay.’

“Me too,” said Dark after a pause.

Fig     "D!" a familiar voice shouted behind him. D was concentrating intently on the person in front of him. Analyzing him, trying to figure out how he fought, if he was a threat. A tug on his arm broke his concentration. It was Faye. He could see beads of sweat running down her face. Without warning, the person just simply turned and walked away. Reaching out to grab him by the shoulder, Faye instead caught his hand and pulled it down to her chest.

"D...' she said in a low, soft voice. Her voice made D forget the person and instead her eyes fell upon her lovely face. 'Come wit me, please.", she asked raising her face to look into his. With a simple nod as his reply, Faye pulling him by his arm led him to her apartment. D could get to her apartment blindfolded, but he didn't object to her leading. When they reached the apartment, D noticed that Faye looked up and down the hall before locking it behind her.

"It's nice to see you again, Faye," D said while taking a seat on her couch. " I was in the middle of doing something, but it's still very pleasant to see you."

" I need your help." Faye said.

" What's wrong?" D asked, his tone of voice not changing.

" T-these men-loan sharks-are in town and they're after me. And I feel I might be in danger." Faye said in between little sobs. D raised an eyebrow, but he knew Faye couldn't see it due to his hat. D was accustomed to girls crying for help, but this time it was different. He actually felt a twinge of pain in his heart to see her crying. He wanted to just hold her in his arms and tell her everything would be all right, but he couldn't. D was not accustomed to expressing such emotions to people. Without warning, Faye fell to her knees and clasped her hands together and started to beg D for help. Going against his better judgement, D followed his emotions on what to do. Wiping away the tears from her face, D knelt down on one knee and faced her. Holding her chin up with Hans, who he knew was enjoying his view, he leaned over and whispered to her,

" Faye, I'll never let anyone or anything harm you once you're with me." With that, he kissed her on her neck, then her cheek and then finally planted a kiss lightly on her lips. Before Faye could say anything, a large rumbling sound came from beneath them and an unexpected shifting of the building made Faye fall on D. D would've liked to stay like that for an eternity with her because he enjoyed the softness and warmth of her body, but he knew in his heart that he had to go and see what was going on. Sighing outloud, he looked up at her and said to her,

" I have to go."

" No, you don't!' she shouted pushing him on the ground. ' Don't you leave me! Not now...stay with me. You don't have to go out fighting all the time. You gotta enjoy lif--" Before she could finish her sentence another large rumble erupted from the ground. A frown came upon Faye's face because she knew he had to go, but to her surprise, D instead put his arms around her and picked her up and laid her on the couch and started to kiss her. If she wasn't so engrossed in D, Faye could've sworn she heard someone saying,

" Yes, finally you're with a girl! No more monsters, only lovely, well shaped, good-smelling, soft voiced...."

Benihime

Faye held D closer to her, feeling his heart beating with hers. His lips moved from her lips, to her neck, her cheek, then back to her lips. His hand traveled down her body, decelerating around her curves. Her hand was lost somewhere under his hat, matted in his hair.

The building once again shook and the rumbling sound grew louder.

Faye was suddenly frightened; what could it be? But then again, she was safe in D’s warm strong arms, where it was paradise to her.

But then again, she knew in her mind that D should investigate the thing below. He was a vampire hunter after all; he was meant to check it out.

Faye sadly pulled away. “What’s wrong?” asked D.

          “D, you have to go.”

          “But you just told me--”

“Yeah, I know. But if you won’t do something, this place will collapse and I won’t have a nice ruby red carpet to look at every day.”

“You could always move in with me,” D said half-jokingly.

“Hey…that’s not a bad idea,” said Faye, her eyes sparkling. “I could move in with you and those loan sharks will never find me! It’s a great plan!”

“Heh, I was just kidding, but hey, sounds wonderful to me,” he said.

“Do you think I can move in today?”

“Today? You think you can get all your things in my small apartment…”

“Yeah. And your apartment isn’t that small. Mine is just bigger.”

“Right…well, if you think you can do it, go for it.” He kissed her on her lips.

The building again shook. D got up and brushed the wrinkles out of his clothes and adjusted his hat. He grabbed his sword. “Well, I have to be off, but I’ll be back,” he said. He fished out his keys and gave it to Faye. “I have a spare, so these can be yours,” he said.

          “Thanks,” Faye said.

“You’re welcome,” he said, making his way to the door. “Well, see you later.”

          “Wait!” said Faye.

D turned around. “What?” he asked, concerned.

Faye ran to him and wrapping her arms around his neck, and gave him a long, deep kiss. She pulled away. “I just want to thank you for…for everything. I appreciate it,” she said, a little breathless.

D smiled, and stroked her dark violet hair. Faye swore she heard something as his hand passed by her ear. D noticed her reaction and pulled his hand away. “I will see you later, Faye,” he said. He then left.

Faye looked around her apartment, thinking on how she can move all of her stuff to D’s apartment. “This shouldn’t be too hard,” she said.

~~~
          Within an hour, Faye amazingly moved all of her things into D’s apartment. Now all she had to do was find areas to place the stuff.
          “Now, this shouldn’t be too hard,” Faye said. But she was kidding herself: Faye wasn’t an organized person. And with the room she had to work with, it would take a miracle.
~~~

Within forty-five minutes, Faye managed to find space to put her stuff. Miraculously, the apartment still had a roomy air about it and everything.

“Oh, I am so good,” she said, collapsing into a chair. One of her chairs.

She then smiled to herself. “D will surely be surprised. This place looks different. Beautiful, even. Maybe I can surprise him even more…”

She decided to take a quick shower and slipped into a small, black, lacy dress. She lit candles around and set up plates. “I will have to ask him what he wants for dinner,” she said. “He still doesn’t know I can’t cook.”

Next, she decided to run a hot bath for him. After battling with creatures, Faye knew he would enjoy a nice hot bath. “And a nice back scrub by yours truly,” she said.

And then she was done. She sat back down on the couch and waited for D. She sat in a sultry pose, so that when he came in, it would capture his attention.

And then she waited. And waited. And waited.

“How long does it take to battle a monster?” she asked irately, getting up for a drink. She froze when she heard a growling sound. It sounded like it came from down the hallway.

Faye went to a drawer and picked up her Glock. She went to the door, opened it, and looked down the hallway. She didn’t see anything.

Quietly, she crept down the hall, looking for the sound. It sounded like it was coming from the around the corner. Bracing herself and taking a deep breath, Faye jumped out and saw the strangest creature she ever saw. Her first impulse was to shoot at it; at which she did. The creature roared and ran at her. Faye kept shooting, running backwards. It clawed and ripped her black dress. Faye kept on shooting.

The creature stopped about three feet from her and began to wobble. Faye had heavily damaged its vital parts. It then fell and landed on top of her, knocking her unconscious.

~*Sayuri    Squall/Kaoru

Squall collapsed into a heap onto the floor of the littered apartment. Kenshin checked over two dead Amorian dragons laying lifeless by their ship which had crashed into the apartments, creating a large wall between the apartments. He knew that Naru was on the other side and he had spoken to her as Kaoru while he was fighting. He was worried that she may have been killed and maimed but he had a good feeling that she was still alive, and alive enough to bash him later. As Kaoru, he felt somewhat disorientated. For some reason, he kept forgetting that he was a guy not a girl but the longer he stayed in this body, the more that line was disappearing. He hoped Dark and Alliana were safe. Squall realised that the Amorians were after Alliana and if they got her, they would kill her creating the most destructive universal war there would ever be. Enthos would team with the Alliance to wage war against the Amorians and the Amorians wouldn’t go down without a brutal and bloody fight. That was what Squall figured. He didn’t know politics well but he knew enough to take a guess. Kenshin fell beside Squall and his sword clattered to the ground.
“Did you just check me out?” Squall asked emphatically.
“N-no, what makes you think that?” Kenshin stammered.
“I felt your eyes on me. Were you just undressing me with your eyes??”
“Ah-hehe. No. Whaaat? You look hot as a woman, how can I tell it’s really you in there, Squall? And damn that body looks good in sweat.”
Kaoru narrowed her eyes.
Kenshin lifted his hand up and was holding something in his hand.
“What are you doing-“ Kaoru began.
Before she could finish, Kenshin had pressed the little red button.

The television switched on with a click and they both lay back to watch anime.
“Oh good. Initial D,” Kaoru said.

**

“You know there are more out there.” Squall glanced at Kenshin.
“Mm…”
“You know we can’t stay here all day.”
“Mm.”
“This episode is finished and then we better go look for Alliana.”
“Uh…mm.”
“Are you listening to me?”
“Uh huh.” Kenshin’s eyes were focused on the screen.
**

“It’s finished, let’s go.”

Kenshin scratched his nose. “Right after this. There’s one more episode…this is a good bit, it’s where Takumi loses his first race…”

“Dark and Alliana could be in danger. Not to mention the whole city.”

“You go, look, you can get out the window over there. The one Dark escaped from.” Kenshin looked at Kaoru for a second, down at her chest and then back at the screen.

Kaoru thought about it, looking at the broken window with Dark’s blood on it. “Er…it’s alright. Dark’s a strong guy, he learnt from the best.” She sat back and watched Initial D with Kenshin.

**
Just as Takumi drove through the snow to find Mogi, Kenshin and Kaoru were interrupted from the show.

The person cleared their throat. “It’s nice to see you two fighting like true warriors.”

They both turned from the screen slightly. “Oh...hehe, Dark! We were just coming out to find you. So what’s the news?” Kenshin nodded and stood, stretching. He picked up Kaoru’s gunblade. “Too heavy for a woman, you take this,” he said, passing Kaoru his samurai sword, “and I’ll use this,” he murmured while admiring Squall’s cherished weapon.

Fig    *You guys are making me write here??*

"What's going on?" Another woman walked in and asked as she picked up the one named Alliana.

" Well, after I finished with the dragons, I walked in to find Kenshin and her' The person named Dark said pointing at the woman in the red dress, " Watching anime. Then Hinata arrived. I'm not sure what this guy's story is.." he muttered throwing a look in D's direction.

" He's a good person. Don't worry." Kenshin said from crouching down on the ground close to the woman with the red dress.

" What are you doing down there Kenshin?" asked D.

" Looking for my keys..." he replied moving closer to the woman. In the blink of an eye, Kenshin got kicked square in the nose and fell to the ground.

" Umm....' D started, wanting to change the subject quickly. ' What's your name miss?" he asked looking in Naru's direction.

" Naru." she said simply. He nodded his head at her in reply.

" So what are you doing here D?" asked Dark. To D, his voice sounded more mature, but he didn't comment on it. Looking at him more closely, D realised that this was the person he ran into in the hall earlier. Without hesitating, D simply replied,

" I'm just a wanderer looking for a place to stay."

" With a sword like that?" Dark asked suspiciously.

" Yes." D stated. He could tell from the frustrated expression on Dark's face that he would not be asked anymore questions for awhile. Suddenly, D heard several gunshots accompanied by two sets of different footsteps. One was soft whilst the other hit the ground at a fast, but with a heavy thud. There was then a loud sound of something falling then all was silent. D then realised that Faye was on that floor.

" I have to go.." he said while making his way to the door.

" It might be dangerous out there." Naru shouted behind him.

" Don't worry, I think I could handle it." D said while taking out his sword. Not hesitating, he ran out of the room and made his way up the stairs. He looked down the corridor to see some debris and the body of a large creature. It was too small to be a dragon.

" D look closely!" Hans shouted. At first glance, he didn't realise the leg of Faye sticking out underneath it. He could tell by her shoes. Throwing the creature off of her, he picked her up and held her in his arms.

" Is she okay?" the woman in the red dress was behind him.

" I'm not sure, she appears to be suffering from minor wounds if anything." he replied while stroking Faye's hair from her face.

" Let me help you treat her." she offered.

" Thank you. I appreciate it." D said thankfully

Benihime

Faye dreamt she was flying. She rode a thermal to a tropical island. It was exotically beautiful. The air was so fragrant it took her breath away. The sun warmed her skin and the sound of jungle birds could be heard near with their melodious songs.

She landed on a grassy plain. She looked around and saw the large white flowers. They were so large, they seemed like trees. Everything looked and smelled clean, as though it was uninhabited; it was a pristine paradise.

“This reminds me of a movie,” she said to herself, looking at a large hole in a mountain. “What was it called? Something about a dinosaur park….”

At the moment she said that, a large flying lizard-looking creature swooped down on her. She screamed and ducked. The creature came at her again. Faye reached for the pocket of her shorts. Her Glock wasn’t there. She then did what any normal human being would do: run the hell out of there.

She ran into the thicket of the jungle and stopped to take a breather under a large tree. It was really hot; sweat covered Faye like a second skin. She panted hard and noticed black boots. She looked up to see it was D.

“Oh D!” she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around him and squeezing him tight. “I’m so glad to see you. Where are we? Never mind that, we have to get out of here! This thing tried to kill me!”

          D was silent.

          “D? Are you okay?”

Slowly, D fell forward. Faye caught him and noticed blood. It was everywhere. She saw a deep gash in his chest where his heart used to be. Now it was just a hollow hole.

Faye laid him on the ground and began crying. She had lost someone very close and dear to her. She didn’t know where she was or how to get out.

She was eternally trapped on this unpleasantly beautiful paradise prison.

She stopped crying and heard a voice not far away. She stood up and followed it, and ended up at the cave of a mountain. She walked inside and noticed a dark purple haze floating out from the cave. She heard the bellowing deep inside. Taking a deep breath, she entered.

It was like a maze. The walls were different colors and had mirrors. The ground was rough at times, and smooth on the other. It was like she was trapped in some twisted Wonderland. And she was Alice.

Faye came to the center of the cave. A high throne sat there and someone was sitting in it. Faye stepped closer to get a better look. The figure suddenly moved and Faye felt herself floating.

It laughed. “Came to see me, eh? It’s so nice to have visitors. Especially when you’re lonely. Isn’t that right, my dear?”

All of a sudden, the room started spinning and electricity shot through Faye’s body. It was as if a thousand daggers ripped through her body at the speed of light. Faye screamed and screamed as the room spun faster and the creature laughed harder, yelling out her name.

“Hello?” a curious voice asked, faraway.

“Get away from me!” Faye yelled. She moved her fists around until it collided with something warm and soft.

“Ow!” they cried. “She—she hit me!”

Another voice was heard. Familiar and soothing. “Faye,” he said, and she could feel a hand gently shaking her. “Faye, wake up; you’re having a nightmare.”

Faye opened her eyes. Her sight was a bit blurry but soon it corrected itself. She was in a bed, she deduced, and a lady with a red dress stood nearby holding her mouth. D was right beside her, looking concerned.

“Faye, are you okay?” he asked.

“Oh D,” she said as tears formed in her eyes. “You’re not dead. Thank god.” She embraced him quickly.

D was confused, but was glad Faye was all right. “Yes, I’m here, I’m not dead,” he said with a small smile.

“Seems like she’s okay,” the woman with the revealing red dress said. Faye looked at her and noticed her mouth was swelling where she hit her. “Who are you?” she asked.

“I’m Sq—er, Kaoru,” she said. “I tended to your wounds. They were minor. You’re very lucky. Those creatures you took out, they could have tore you apart!”

“Yes, I guess I am lucky then,” Faye said slowly. “Sorry for hitting you.” She sensed there was something masculine about this girl, but she shook it off.

“It’s okay. Need anything else?” Kaoru asked D.

“No, nothing else. That’s all,” he asked, still holding on to Faye. “You can leave. Thanks for everything.”

“No problem. See you guys later,” the girl said, as she left the room. In a few seconds they heard the door shut.

D turned to Faye. “Are you sure you’re okay?”

Faye laid her head on his chest and held on to him tightly. “As long as you’re here, yes,” she said. “I had the worst dream ever.”

          “Want to talk about it?”

“Yes,” Faye said. “But on one condition.”

          “What’s that?”

“Don’t ever leave me,” she said in a tearful voice, her face buried deep into D’s chest. “I hate being alone.”

Akira Kureshida

"So..." Naru said, kicking aside a chunk of fallen debris with her foot. "Anyone care to tell us what those things are exactly, and where they came from?"

Kenshin look up at Alliana who was sitting beside Naru and then turned to Dark. Dark put his palm up to say that he had no idea. "Maybe we should wait for Squall. He told me to protect Alliana from them."

"Squall? Where is he? I didn't see him around."

A nervous laugh suddenly escaped from Dark and Kenshin. "Ahahaha..."
"We could wait for his sister...Kaoru, the one in the dress," Dark finished.

Hina and Satoshi were sitting on a couch with a basket between them. "We should, perhaps, wait until everyone involved arrives," Hina said quietly. "And then we could find out what happened and what we should do from that woman."
Everyone agreed with a nod and sat back to wait with the t.v playing. Alliana turned up the volume.
Kenshin sat beside her and then picked up his sword to sheath it while they waited.

"And you!" Naru said, "This all better come out of your insurance, I'm not paying a cent!"

Kenshin looked around in puzzlement. "What? It's not so bad...a little redecorating here and there..."

Naru narrowed her eyes.

"Ahaha, of course, of course. All from the insurance... the insurance..." Kenshin's face seemed to pale considerably on the word insurance and Naru wondered if he even had any.

Minutes later, the girl in the dress who must have been Kaoru, arrived at the hole in the wall to find half of them slurping down hot noodles. They all stared at her while she struggled with her dress caught on a rod that was sticking out of the wall. "Ahaha, stupid dress." She struggled with it for a moment and then Kaoru tore herself away in one last attempt, aware that everyone was staring at her and shredded a piece off the already micro-mini skirt from the side, revealing her entire left thigh and hip.

Naru turned away in embarrassment and then proceeded to smack the heads of every guy in the room that was staring at Kaoru with an open mouth.

Naru thought she recognised the dress but thought nothing more of it after Kaoru sat down, taking a bowl of noodles from Hina. After a while, Naru grabbed a box of Pocky sticks out and started to munch on them. She stopped when she noticed Dark, Kaoru, Kenshin and Satoshi staring at her. She looked down and realised they were staring at the box in her hand. She sighed and then walked to her cupboard, grumbling about supply and demand. Supply and demand? Naru suddenly screamed, long and piercing until several of them had come in with swords blazing and Hina had come in with her hand flaring up with a blue energy. One guy even had a feather and Naru was thinking that this guy had it all wrong.
"What happened? Naru, what's wrong?"

Naru scratched her hand in embarrassment. "Hehe, nothing really. I just realised I have a test for Toudai tomorrow and I haven't studied. I suppose I could take it again next week..."

Naru sat down again as they waited for D to come back so they could have a proper briefing. Besides, everyone seemed to feel safer when they were all together, considering the guys had beaten the dragons before, they could do it again. Naru thought briefly of the statue she had taken from Dark and wondered if he had forgotten about it. It was the reason he was living in her apartment after all. She had never had this many guests in her apartment before. It wasn't exactly the best situation but still...it was sort of nice.

D sat down with a blue-haired woman introduced as Faye. Every one sat facing each other as Kaoru spoke first. "As I said earlier, those things are Amorians. They're some of the fiercest warriors in the realm and they'll fight to the death. So far we've only faced three, but a ship that size carries around ten." Kaoru was in the middle of the group and she pointed to a small portion on the side of the ship that lay embedded in the building. “There will be more of them if the first don’t complete their mission.” Wind whipped her hair around and she brushed it back with a hand. "The Amorians were at war with the planet Enthos where Alliana is from. I fought alongside Kenshin on that planet when the situation became more desperate. Three years ago, an alliance treaty was proposed and the Amorians signed it. Now, to break a treaty such as that is paid in blood. Every navigated planet is fixed with a satellite that can be set off to destroy the entire core and to destroy the core of a planet means complete destruction."
Kaoru looked around at their faces. Naru was shivering slightly. Dark looked expressionless and Kenshin looked slightly worried.

"Why do they want Alliana?" Naru asked.

"I was about to get to that part. Alliana is the princess of Enthos.”
The rest of them looked at Alliana. She nodded and pointed to her crown.

“They want Alliana so that they can, most likely, keep her hostage on their own planet, disallowing the use of the satellite. Enthos is the leading nation of the Alliance, which is a group of allied planets, including our own. They wouldn’t want her dead, even if it means war just to get her back.”

“How do you know all this?” Satoshi said, leaning back on the couch.

“I’m a mercenary of the Alliance, I’m trained to know this,” Kaoru replied.

“No, you’re trained to make assumptions. How do we know they’re really going to hold her hostage? They probably want her dead. And if the Alliance was so concerned, why haven’t they bothered to find her, since she’s on one of the Alliance nations anyway.”

Naru swallowed, it looked like a fight was about to break between Satoshi and Kaoru.

Kaoru stepped up close to Satoshi, legs apart in an offence position as she drew her gunblade and held it in front of his face. “You see the blood on the end of my sword, Satoshi? This is a testament of the Amorian determination. If they wanted her dead, they would have killed her before they brought her here. They crash-landed here, as Alliana recalls, and now they need her back. You want to help me prevent universal bloodshed? The Amorians only want to survive so they can slaughter the Alliance, that’s what this is all about for them.”

“Then why don’t we let the Alliance take care of it?”

“To prevent the destruction of an entire planet. They’ll blow it up if they find out their intentions. Sure we don’t like the Amorian warriors but that’s not to say they don’t have innocents of their own. And they have hostages on that planet already, people I know. People I knew…” Kaoru’s voice faded out. “And people I’ve been living to save since I was a boy…”

“Um…” a small voice interrupted. Everyone looked to see Hina twisting her foot nervously. “I think that we should help Alliana get back to her home anyway. If not to prevent war and because she belongs there.”

The rest of them agreed. “Then what do we do?” asked Faye, twisting the glock in her hands. “Looks like they’ll be back for her, not to mention for their ship.”

“We should-“ D clenched his hand and coughed. “Sorry, I meant we should see what we can do about getting the other 7 dragons before we leave. We shouldn’t leave them here; there are many innocent civilians out there.”

Kaoru nodded in agreement as she walked back into the middle of the group with her blade in her hands, pointing to the floor.

Dark, who had been quietly thinking for a while spoke up gently. “Every one here is now involved somehow, but are all of us going to take Alliana back? More of them are going to be coming here ‘cause this is where they think she is. We have to defend our planet too but taking Alliana back is just as dangerous since they’ll follow.”

“Then we break up into two groups,” Kaoru stated forcefully. “The first will take a ship and get Alliana out of here and back home. The second will stay here and hunt down the Amorians. The first will need to have a damn good pilot, and a crew with good initiative skills and vision to aim the gattling guns. I’ll lead the second. I’ll need all those who are excellent in hand-to-hand combat and can take to battle without fear. Lastly, every single one of us engaging in any mission will need to have courage and will need to be able to face death. Who’s with me?”

Everyone remained silent as they thought about it. Kaoru looked around, wondering if every single person had just chickened out. Naru raised her hand. “I’ll go. I’ll be with the crew to take Alliana home.”

Alliana tugged on Naru’s sleeve and looked up at her with gratefulness.

Hina stood up. Naru gasped with surprise. “I’ll go with her. I want to fight.”

Satoshi stood up, as well as Dark. “I’ll stay,” said Dark. “And help you fight, Squall.” He coughed and looked down at the puzzled faces. “I mean, Kaoru. Ah-heh-he..”

“I’ll go,” Satoshi said. “With Hina and Naru. I can fight in hand-to-hand combat and I know how to pull a trigger.”
Oh right…the feather guy is gonna tickle them to death if he stays down here, Naru thought. Oh well, can’t be judgemental, he has courage to go, she decided.

That left Faye, Kenshin, and D.

Faye sighed and put her arms behind her head to lean on the couch. “Well I guess you need a good pilot. I’m in.”

Kenshin shrugged. “You know I’m always in, Kaoru. I’ll stay and defend the homeland.”

Everyone turned to look at D. He seemed torn between going and staying as he looked outside and then at Faye.

“D?” Kaoru asked. “In or out?”

“In,” he said.

“Going or staying?”

“…Well…”

~*Sayuri    Squall/Kaoru

Kaoru’s face turned into an expression of sudden desperation as the others turned from D to look at her. She clutched her abdomen and hopped from foot to foot. “I need to pee, I need to pee.” Kaoru ran away, out of the hole in the wall towards the public toilets in the park before she could hear D’s answer.
About to burst, Kaoru found herself stuck between choosing the female or male toilets. Girls…boys…this could be bad for my psychological health.
Kaoru decided and was about to run into the guys toilet when Kenshin coughed. He stood smirking, with Naru beside him, a look of anxiety on her face.
“Want some help…?” Kenshin asked.
Naru whacked him over the head. “I’ll help if something’s wrong.”
Ready to cry, Kaoru trudged into the female toilets while they waited outside on the swings.

Around 30 minutes later…Kaoru came out of the toilet block into the open. Naru watched with worry and Kenshin looked curious. Naru had come in every 3 minutes to ask if Kaoru was okay but embarrassed, Kaoru had whimpered that she was fine.
Squall, finding it extremely difficult to control his emotions as a woman, started blubbering. “…I hate being a woman…” Kaoru burst into tears.
Kenshin lent him a shoulder.
“Aww! Poor thing, you’re hormonal,” Naru sympathised.
With that, Kaoru screeched and cried louder. “It’s just- abububu- so hard- amumu- to pee…”

Kenshin rubbed Kaoru’s back comfortingly. Naru thought for a moment and then raised her eyebrows. “Pee? That’s it? How hard can it be? You sit…and you pee…”

Kaoru’s head popped up as though someone had just slapped her in the face. And then she began to cry again.

*

They were back in Naru’s tragic-looking apartment conferring amongst each other. The murmurs of the others were adding to Kaoru’s anxiety.

“My Red Tail is fast but it won’t survive a trip like that one. It isn’t equipped with the kind of equipment you’re expecting, Kaoru, and I don’t think it’s equipped for a mission like this if there are over 3 people on board.” Faye put a hand to her chin in thought. “We’re better off looking for something with speed and something designed for space travel…no doubt it needs integrated sub-engine support systems and speed projectors. Not to mention an automatic hydrogen fuel cell converter…” Faye looked up at Naru and Dark who had blank looks.
“To cut the carbon dioxide emissions, of course.”
“Ohh…” they said in unison, nodding.

“How are you with full-size ships?” Kaoru asked.
Faye shrugged. “I can fly just about anything.”
Kaoru scratched her chin as though there was stubble to be found there. “I think I know the perfect ship…it’s designed for outer-regional travel and has an omni shielding. But I’m going to need a hand getting it…and a balaclava.”

“What ship?” Kenshin broke in.
Kaoru fell silent for a moment.
“The Ragnarok,” she said and turned away in thought. It had been a while.

Kaoru was about to leave the room to begin the mission outlines to retrieve (or steal/borrow) the ship. A rumbling sound erupted overhead and she drew her gunblade, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw several other weapons draw out of their sheaths/holsters. Everyone looked up and then they walked out of the hole in the building wall into daylight. The Amorian was circling above, scales gleaming, crying out into the skies as though calling for war. Naru held Alliana protectively while the others stood ready to fight.
When they had time, better tactics would be learnt to fight these things, including group co-operation which nearly everyone seemed to be lacking at the moment. They needed formation and skills in battle unity. After this, Kaoru decided, and readied herself for combat as she had been taught for the past 15 years.

mirror on the wall    Everyone was silent. Dark looked around uncomfortably as Kaoru ran out to pee. Then Naru and Kenshin stood and walked out after Kaoru. Dark, feeling even more uncomfortable began to bite his fingernails.

‘Ah- nuts!’

D did not answer Kaoru’s question. Perhaps he would when everyone came back.

*

Everyone had finally returned, but an Amorian instantly disrupted them. They run outside for battle, but was saved the trouble by a single bullet in the Amorians head by a somewhat arrogant man. His name was Kyo, and Dark watched his back as he turned to enter the Kenshin building.

“Kaoru, a word please,” he said, ushering her forward and he led her a few metres away from the group so they couldn’t eavesdrop. Dark listened hard.

“Listen, Kyo’s a friend. If anyone can be more helpful, he is the person we need.”

Kaoru stared at Kenshin long and hard, then said.

“How will he be of use?”

Dark walked over to them but they didn’t object to him listening in on them.

“When we’re at war,” Kenshin said in a low voice, looking from Kaoru to Dark. “Our odds will be greater if he’s involved.”

“But he isn’t involved,” Dark put in. “He doesn’t even know what’s going on.”

“Is that really a problem?” Kenshin raised his eyebrows.

“No, I guess not,” Dark said, defeated.

“I trust your word, Kenshin,” Kaoru nodded. “If you think he’ll be useful, his in.”

“There’s just one thing…” Kenshin said even lower.

“What?” said Kaoru and Dark together.

“He’s extremely bad temper.”

Kaoru sighed. “I knew it was too good to be true.”

“No- no! It’s not like that, well maybe a little…just…just trust me, OK?”

Dark looked at Kaoru who took her time to answer. “Alright, fine.”

“Just be patient with him…”

*

Dark sat on a couch in Kyo’s apartment, irritated as he argued with Kaoru when Kyo had given his opinion when they had told him what was happening. He was neither shocked nor surprised by the news. To Dark it just didn’t make sense what Kyo was saying, and what frustrated him more was Kaoru was thinking hard on what he had to say, as though he was considering the bizarre possibility that the Amorians had their own plans. It appeared he may have stepped a toe out of line, because before he knew it Kyo was standing and his hand was inches from his neck. He backed away from him in fight. It was sudden and fast. The only thing stopped him from reaching any further was Kenshin’s blade, which was at his throat. Then as if he hadn’t just done anything wrong Kyo backed away and sank into the couch. He glared at him. Kaoru was giving Kenshin and Dark anxious looks. Finally they got to the point; to ask whether or not he was going to unite with them, and if he was united was he going or staying behind with them? Kyo agreed to be apart of it. He was staying.

*

Down the corridor Kaoru, Kenshin, Kyo and him walked back toward where they planned to meet the group; at Naru’s trashed apartment. They entered.

“D?” Kaoru shot at him, sounding rather blunt. “Are you staying or going?”

Fig
As Dark, Kenshin and Kaouru left the room, Faye leaned closer to D and wrapped her arms around him. He didn't have to see her face to know the expression on her face. D sighed. He had a large decision to make. Well actually it wasn't a decision. He knew that he had to stay and fight because it didn't make sense for him to go into space. He would be more useful fighting alongside Kenshin, Kaoru and Dark at the apartments. He figured Faye knew this already, so there was no need to say anything.

" Faye, ' D began, 'You know what i must do..". As he said this, he could see her hand slide across to the sheath of his sword. D nodded as a reply.

" I'll be back D. I'm not going to leave you. I'll never leave you. Never...." Faye said burying her head in his chest.

"Faye. Are you telling me or yourself that?" D asked while looking down at her. As he did that, he realised that some of her fell to one side leaving an open view of her neck. He could feel it. His fangs.

" Not now..." he thought to himself. But he couldn't resist staring at it. He could practically see a vein pumping in her neck where he could sink his teeth in. Her lovely skin was caling out to him. His fangs were getting longer and his eyes were starting to turn blue.

" D!' a voice hissed. Hans knew what was happening. Anytime D's pores raised, it meant he wanted to bite someone. ' Stop it now! Not in front of everyone! You don't want to cause a panic. You'll be locked up and you know that Dark guy already has it out for you. Don't do this!!!" D was in a whole other world. For centuries he wanted to remember how it felt to suck the blood of a human. And he knew if he did that he could make her into a vampire to serve him. But did he want that? He would become what all of those before him were. All of his principles would be comprimised for less than a minute of pleasure. Trying his best to supress his urges, D called out to Faye,

" F-F-Fa-Faye...' She looked up with a tear in her eye. He could feel his fangs retracting a bit. Panting heavily he continued, ' I-I know, yo-you'll come back. Bu-Bu-But, I wa-want you to know I-I'll be wai--wait--waiting for you." They had retracted completely. Breathing a sigh of relief, he leaned over and gave Faye a reassuring kiss. As he did it, he began to think how happy he felt the few days he had known her. He did not want to lose her. His life finally some balance now. He had someone who had feelings for. D never knew the joys of having a woman love him, he lost his mother at birth and didn't want himself to get close to women for fear of his vampire roots. But, all of this was changed now. He found happiness in Faye. He couldn't afford to lose her. He thought back to one of the vampires he was hunting before. His name was Meir. He was in love with a human girl, but everyone thought different that he was mind controlling her, but Meir claimed how she was following him under her own will. Not even D could understand that, but now he did. He would do anything for Faye and he believed that she would in return. Taking her hand and entangling her fingers with his, he simply looked into her face and admired her beauty. He could see her blushing. D didn't even notice that Kaouru and they had returned.

“D! Are you staying or going?” she practically screamed at him. Before D could get the chance to answer Satoshi asked,

“Who’s that?” Kaoru gave him a piercing look, then smirked. She stepped aside and turned to the person.

“This is our newest member, Kyo. He will be fighting alongside Team B” With that Kyo did a little bow to introduce himself.

" Back to you D!' Kaoru whirled around and asked with a glare in her eye. ' Are you staying or going?!!" Squeezing Faye's hand, D raised his head, looked into Kaoru's eyes and simply said,

" Staying."

Benihime

“Good, I’m glad we have that covered,” Kaoru said with a smile. “So, just to remind everyone again: Team A consists of Alliana, Naru, Hina, Satoshi, and Faye. Team B consists of Dark, Kenshin, Kyo, D, and me. Any questions?”

“When do we leave with the spaceship?” asked Hina.

Kaoru contemplated a bit. “How’s tomorrow sound? We have to work fast before something unexpected happens. Does everyone agree?”

          Everyone nodded.

“Good then,” she said. “Well, the only advice I can offer to Team A is to pack up quickly and get some sleep. Stock up heavily on food and supplies; we don’t know how long this is going to take.”

“Well, I know some places in space in case we run out of food or equipment,” Faye suggested. “So we will also need some money in case.”

“Okay, fine,” Kaoru said. “Team B: we need to have a meeting before we go to bed. We need to scout out the area and the entire city tomorrow. Kenshin, you do have a map of the entire city, right?”

          “I’ll look,” he said.

“Okay, everyone know what to do,” Kaoru said. “Let’s get to it!”

Everyone scattered. “I’ll see you a bit later,” D said, patting Faye’s shoulder and gave a peck to her cheek. He then left with the others.

“Oh hey, Faye?” she said, reaching into her pocket. Faye was surprised she even had a pocket in a dress like that.

Kaoru threw some keys. Faye caught it. She looked at Kaoru. “They go to the ship outside. The Amorian ship. You’ll have to take it to get to the Ragnarok,” she said.

“And where might I find the Ragnarok?” Faye asked.

“Oh, you’ll know. Its magnificence and expansiveness will tell you. Don’t worry; I don’t think it’s very far, anyway. I mean, that’s what I think. But you’re the pilot; you know what to do, right?”

“Yeah,” Faye said, pocketing the keys. “In fact, I had a plan that I could put my Red Tail in the Ragnarok in case I would use it. It has one of the best guns on it around.”

“Great idea. Well, I have to get going. See you later,” Kaoru said, leaving the room. Faye walked out the room and down the hall to outside. She was going to check out the alien ship. And the first thing she was going to do was to park it someplace else. A ship impaled in a building can draw attention.

~~~
          After hiding it somewhere else, Faye returned to D’s apartment. She needed to pack up for the trip. She opened the door, went immediately to the closet and took out her suitcase and put it on the bed. She then just stared at it, for she just realized after moving all her stuff from her apartment to D’s, she only stayed for about a day. All that hard work for nothing , she thought.
          While she was packing, she cried. After years of searching and vagabonding, she finally found a home and someone to call her own. Now she was to leave both of them behind.
~~~

D entered the apartment. After that meeting he went to, he needed some serious sleep.

For the first time, he noticed how tidy and organized his apartment now was. Thanks to Faye, he thought.

He found Faye in the bedroom, sitting on the bed, working on something. She didn’t know he was here. D stood there and admired her beauty from afar.

Faye felt as though someone was staring at her. She looked up to see D. “D!” she exclaimed as she got up and hugged him. “Um, how long were you standing there?”

“Long enough,” he said with a smile. “I thought you were going to bed.”

“I wanted to wait for you. I want to give you something.”

          “Oh?”

Faye led D to the bed. “As you know,” she began, “I’m a shopaholic. So, in your spare time, could you make sure all my stuff will still be here, unharmed?”

D laughed as it were a joke. He then realized it wasn’t. He nodded and Faye continued.

“I want you to have this,” she said, handing him a multi-purpose communication device. “I know Kaoru probably has already provided you with one, but this one is better and plus, you can talk to me whenever you feel like it.”

D looked at the device. “Thank you,” he said. “I promise you I will use it.”

“There’s one more thing,” Faye said, as she took out a necklace and placed it around D’s neck. “It might or might not help fight off the monsters, but the important thing is, if you hold it close to your heart, it will feel as though I’m with you. Well, that’s my theory anyway.”

D studied the necklace. It was pretty large and was made out of a dark metal. The pendent was a large winged-creature; it looked as it was a horse with large wings, or perhaps a dragon. D noticed it had a tiny diamond for an eye. Very interesting, he thought.

“It reminded me of you. That’s why I bought it,” Faye said, handing him a small picture. It was picture of Faye. “Here. I thought you might like this, too, since, you know, you might forget my face or something.”

“How can I forget your face?” D said, touching her cheek with his hand. “It is highly impossible.”

Faye smiled and blushed. “I will never forget yours, either. No matter how far we are or how long this thing will take. I-I…”

She felt the tears slide down her face. Naturally, she wasn’t an emotional woman, but this situation was an exception. Before, it wasn’t so hard to leave Earth once in awhile. Now, she didn’t want to leave it. But she had to; it was now her duty.

D embraced her as she cried. “I-I love you,” she whispered in his ear. It was hard for her to say. She had never said that to another male in her entire life.

D was a bit surprised she had said that, but it didn’t matter. He stroked her hair. “I love you, too,” he said.

Faye smiled and pulled away. “Look at that,” she said, pointing to the tear stains on D’s black shirt. “I’m sorry I got you wet with my tears.”

“It doesn’t matter. Look, Faye, we should get to sleep before we stay up all night crying. We have a lot of work to do and places to go,” D said.

“You’re right,” she said, as she moved her stuff out of the way and turned back the comforter of the bed. She got in and got under the sheet. D took off his shoes and his hat and unbuttoned his shirt a bit. He then got in and stared up at the ceiling, with his hands behind his back.

Faye watched him. “What are you thinking?” she asked.

D looked at her. “I was wondering if I should take a picture of myself to give to you in the morning,” he said with a smile. “But really, it’s of the necklace you gave me. I really like it. But, I feel as though it’s tied in to something.”

“Like it might be a key to open something?” Faye asked.

“Yes, something like that,” he said, turning to face her. He stared deeply into her dark emerald eyes. He sighed to himself. He really was going to miss her.

He then kissed her. “Good night,” he said.

She hugged him tight then looked at him. “Good night,” she said. She wanted this night to last forever. She didn’t want for tomorrow to come.

D held on to her tight as he turned out the light. Soon they were fast asleep, dreaming about each other and how they will never be apart.

Akira Kureshida    Naru was piggy-backing Alliana up the stairs and when she came to the door she was looking for, kicked it open and placed sleeping Alliana into the bed in the bedroom. Naru yawned and then wandered to the kitchen.

"Now what's there to eat..." she mumbled to herself as she searched the contents of the fridge. She began to hum a song and then before she knew it, she was singing at the top of her voice.

"Er..." someone said from behind her.

Naru turned around eating a bar of chocolate. "Mm?"

"Er..." Dark said. "What are you doing in my fridge?"

She chewed and swallowed the bit she was eating. "Looking for something to eat."

"Why are you in my apartment?" Dark asked slowly, walking forward to shut the fridge.

"What do you mean? I'm staying here. With Alliana."
She wrinkled the chocolate wrapper and threw it in the bin.

Dark blinked and threw up his hands. "Fine."

"Fine."

"We're leaving tomorrow anyway, what does it matter?"

"Fine."

Naru walked away and fell into bed next to Alliana.

*

Naru woke suddenly and looked at the window where someone was tapping.

She stood up and then opened it to find Faye.

"What? Faye? What are you doing outside my window?"

Kaoru moved into the window next to Faye and gestured outside. "This is the perfect time to go steal the Ragnarok from Esthar station while the security is unconcious."

"Unconcious?"

"Er...hehe, hard to explain. Come on."

*

Naru screamed and then hid behind Dark. "Shhh, damn Naru, do you want to get caught?" he hissed.

Naru held onto his arm as they crept through the building. It was the most high-tech place she had ever seen. Sky blue lights lined the floors and there was a hum of electricity. Dark and Naru had been teamed together as they split up to look for the ship dock.
The door opened automatically with a low beep and they walked through, the door shutting behind with a hiss.

"Wow..." they both breathed as their eyes traveled skyward. The gundam wing suit was gigantic and it was the biggest robot-suit-thing, actually, the only robot-suit-thing, she had ever seen. She wondered if the others had found the Ragnarok yet. Just as they were about to leave station 24, the door hissed open and two Esthar soldiers wearing their high-tech suits stared at them.

*
The alarm went off, a loud and ear ringing siren. The lights went out and red alarm lights came on. "Ahh crap...let's get out of here," Naru said as she and Dark put on the suits the two unconcious guards had been wearing. Immediately Naru felt weightless and it was so easy to move, she felt like she could punch a wall in with little effort. She pressed a button and blades rotated out from her wrists. "Geez..."

"We have to find the ship and the others before we get caught."

mirror on the wall    “Ahh! Crap!” Dark yelled in frustration.
“What! What is it!?” Naru whimpered, panicking. the alarm ringing in their ears.
“My stone angel! It’s at your house. Oh, God!”
Naru hit his helmet hard.
“Don’t scare me like that, Dark! We have to get out of here!”
He nodded, took her by the hand, and they ran as best they could in their suits around a corner, down a hall, round another corner, through a door, into another hallway…
Naru pulled him back to stop and pulled off her helmet. “Do you know where we’re going?” she asked loud enough for him to hear over the alarm. He looked at her.
“No!” he replied, taking off his helmet also.
“What!” she yelled.
“What!” he yelled back. She put her fingertips on her forehead out of irritation. “Do you expect me to know!?”
“Yes! You’re the ‘great phantom thief’!”
“Correction! I was the great phantom thief, and I had studied the places where I robbed before barging in- Wait! How did you know I was the phantom thief?!”
“I read it on the stone angel!”
“AH! So the truth comes out! You did steal my statue!”
Naru opened her mouth to argue but she closed it and her eyes turned away from his, in a sorry sort of way, and started to walk down the corridor without him. He felt a twinge inside him when she looked sad.
“Hey,” he said, his voice more gentle as he walked after her and he grabbed her arm. She tried to pull it away but he didn’t let go. Naru turned and raised her hand, most likely to strike him down with it but was frozen. He had dropped his helmet. Dark leaned over and kissed her, his free hand under her ear and in her silky hair. She did not pull away from him. Running footsteps could be heard, and he pulled away reluctantly. He wasn’t sure how she felt about him…
“Sorry,” he breathed, and turned to look down the corner. Right at the end were running figures. “Damnit,” he said, is voice more stronger. Naru was still frozen and speechless. He picked up his helmet, while she put on hers (she was still in shock) and he pulled her into the nearest door. Two red lights passed their heads and they jumped behind some boxes.
“What the hell!” Dark said. He lifted his head to look over at where he lights had come from. It was Kaoru and Faye. Faye had her helmet on, Kaoru didn’t. That’s how Dark knew.
“Shit,” Dark muttered.
Naru had her hands over her head, muttering wildly as Kaoru and Faye shot at them.
“Stupid, idiot, Kaoru! It’s us, you dumbass! It’s Dark and Naru!” But they appeared to not have heard.
“Why are they shooting at us!!” Naru said. Dark took off his helmet and threw it at them.
He stood, his hands in the air. Faye pointed at him and shot. He jumped back behind the box, however there were no more shots fired.
“Oh, don’t worry,” they heard Faye say. “It’s just Dark and Naru.”
Dark and Naru popped furiously into view.
“Just us!?” they chorused. Naru, in a raging temper of being shot at, took off her helmet and threw it at them. They ducked and she sank onto the floor and began to sob. Kaoru came over, apologised in a way that was a bit too affectionate, and then pattered her on the back a bit when Dark gave Kaoru a warning look.

~*Sayuri    Kaoru/Squall

“You’ll be happy to know that we found the Ragnarok in the 10th port.” Kaoru’s head buzzed a little from the siren alarms. The Esthar soldier’s suit felt strange on her skin and she felt weightless and amazingly strong. There were all sorts of little gadgets and buttons but she was a little afraid to be touching them in case there was a self-destruct button or something. Lucky that Faye had pointed out that the two people they had been shooting at were just Dark and Naru wearing Esthar suits as well.

**

Earlier, Hello Kitty had appeared in Kaoru’s face when she had just started falling asleep in her bed, and told her that she had put everyone in Esthar station to sleep with help from the flying kitten, Kohana. They had snuck in together and flew around sprinkling sleeping dust on the guards.
“How did you know we planned on stea- er…borrowing the Ragnarok?” Kaoru asked drowsily.
Hello Kitty beamed. “I just wanted to help, Shkwally. I know you needed to get a shippy. And I know the Ragnarok is your favouritest.”

Kaoru jumped to her feet and slapped herself awake, knowing this was the perfect plan if she could rely on what Hello Kitty was telling her. She had been thinking about how to get that ship back and now this plan was the best she had. But who would help her get it? She knew of Dark’s apartment and D’s was on the way.

Kaoru found Faye in the hall outside D’s apartment and she had gladly accepted the mission, and they headed towards Dark’s apartment where she had gone to the window where she usually woke Dark from. Instead, Naru had opened the window and Kaoru took the chance to shove Faye out of the way to get a glimpse of Naru in her nightdress. She had agreed and Dark decided he wanted in as well to get a glimpse of Esthar station. They left Alliana under the care of D who would stay with her in the Redtail to look after it while they did their thing.

Faye drove them all in her Redtail to Esthar station and landed nearby. Kaoru shivered as she stepped into the cold night and they crept towards the giant building. It looked completely secure but Kaoru had a history of getting into secure places so this wasn’t too difficult. Using her gun-blade, she wrenched open a security panel and messed with a few wires. When the door didn’t open, Faye, Dark and Naru raised eyebrows and coughed. Kaoru grinned in embarrassment and then began to smash the panel of wires with the hilt of the sword. “Er…should open…” Kaoru whispered. She shook the wires and then swore. “Open!!!” The door hissed and opened half-way. Kaoru smiled triumphantly. The others shook their heads and squeezed through. They entered a store room with little holograms showing the contents of each panel in front of it.
“Cool…” Naru exclaimed, putting her hand through one.

“Me and Faye will go look for the Ragnarok in stations 1 through to 15, Dark and Naru go from stations 16 to 30. It shouldn’t be too difficult, all the guards should be asleep. Just watch out for those laser eye-beamy things above the doors and those feet zip whirry things by the red hatches.” Kaoru started to leave and realised the others were still waiting for an explanation.

“Alright…every door has an iris scanner so keep your eyes below the laser at every door.”

“How do we get in?” Dark asked.

“The same way we got in through that door.”

“Every large port has a red hatch where a little mecha robot will zoom out, extract blood from your ankle for identification and zip away again. Just make sure your feet are off the ground. They only come out every 10 minutes or so. Are we done?”

“What happens if we find the ship?” Dark asked.

“Er…come back here or find the other pair.”
Faye and Squall had little trouble with the first two stations. Each guard had been fast asleep but they hadn’t found the ship. There was a giant hovercraft and a few army tanks but no Ragnarok.
“You’re sure it’s here, right?” Faye asked quietly.
“Sure…” Kaoru replied. “I can sense it.”

Just then a little thing shot out of a red hatch and Kaoru jumped on the barrel of a battle tank. “Faye!”

Faye saw it and having nowhere to jump, ran from it as it chased her feet. She sprinted towards a hovercraft and dived in as it nipped her heel. Confused, the robot searched around and then zipped back into its hatch. Kaoru sighed and let go. Out of sight, Faye was still in the hovercraft and Kaoru wondered why she hadn’t come out yet. “Faye…?”

Jumping into the hovercraft, Kaoru saw Faye in the lap of an Esthar soldier. He was beginning to wake up and they had each other by the wrists, unsure of who was supposed have whom in custody. Faye grabbed both the soldier’s arms and pulled back her head, smashing him with her forehead, unconscious. “Nice…I like to see tough women…” Kaoru commented.
Faye gave her a strange look.

“Put on the suit, it’ll come in handy.”

Faye did so and seemed to approve. “I feel…mobile.”

“It hugs the figure too,” Kaoru said looking at her body.

Faye raised an eyebrow. “I’m not really…I mean, I’m not really into that sort of thing, you know?”

Kaoru gave her a strange look and then moved on to the next stations. “They might be waking up, we should hurry.”

They found a guard asleep, knocked him out again just to make sure and stole his suit. Kaoru put it on and jumped around. She ran to a wall at full speed and flipped off it. “Hm…”

As they entered station 10, Faye and Kaoru were grabbed around the waist and mouth so they couldn’t move. They struggled and kicked at the soldiers who were holding them and Kaoru faced Faye and the guard that was holding her. Using a free leg, Kaoru kicked Faye’s captor in the head and he released Faye painfully, falling to the ground. Faye pulled out her glock and raised it in the other soldier’s face. He let go of Kaoru and raised his hands. Kaoru pressed any button on her suit and a parachute exploded from her back, knocking the guard out. She unclipped it and stepped away. “The Ragnarok is there.” Kaoru pointed at the gigantic red ship. They stood in the doorway and Faye exclaimed. “Nice…”

A laser light flashed in Kaoru’s eyes before she could dodge and a siren began to wail immediately. The lights dimmed and were replaced with a red light. “Find the other two!” Kaoru yelled as they ran to find the others. As they proceeded down the hallway, two soldiers began shooting at them from behind some crates. Kaoru and Faye immediately dodged behind a corner. “This one is mine,“ Kaoru said.
“Let me take them,” Faye replied.
“You take one and I’ll take the other.”
“Fine.”
“Fine…”

Faye took initiative and shot back with her glock with dead-on aim. Kaoru poked her head out and was lucky enough not to be killed. Faye shot the other soldier and grinned. The two soldiers were down and they sprinted towards the opposite stations in search of Dark and Naru. Guards kept appearing out of nowhere and without the suits they would’ve been dead.
“Mine…” Kaoru said.
“Mine…” Faye replied.

Two guards suddenly appeared from one of the stations and jumped behind some boxes when Kaoru used one of the laser things on her arm. Faye pushed Kaoru back. “This one‘s mine!”
Faye began to fire with the intent to kill. Kaoru fired with the gun blade. “Mine!” Kaoru screamed. A moment later, Kaoru had a feeling they weren’t shooting at the right people…

**

They managed to escape from Esthar station with out any damage, with Faye steering the huge gleaming Ragnarok towards the Redtail. Kaoru took over while she got out and docked her ship in the hull. The others sat back and enjoyed the smooth ride, watching the stars go by. They landed the ship on top of Kenshin apartments and sat waiting as the ship’s internal devices hummed into silence. “That went well…” Faye smiled.

~*Sayuri    When they had asked Squall what to use, Hello Kitty had appeared and he quickly turned around to converse with her. Unfortunately, no one else could see her and it would have seemed Squall was talking to...herself.
"Shkwally! Guesh what? I know where the monster-boy has gone-y!"
"Where?" he asked quickly.
"The other planet, the shkary one where the dragon-y Imorians are."
"WHAT!? Argh...well there's nothing we can do for Kyo right now. Er...wait, we need communication devices. Can you make something? Hurry up too, they already think I'm insane." He glanced behind him at the others to see them gving each other weird looks. He muttered, "Make a few..."
She waved her broken wand and gave him two colourful toy-like walky talkies. "What?! We need ones that can reach inter-planetary locations and you give me toys?"
She shrugged and gave him an annoyed look. "It should still worky. They're exactly like the Antigea ones you used to ny-use. Isn't they cute?"
Understanding dawned. They looked like simple devices but they read nerve impulses, and were extremely technical, able to read the mind of the user and contact with whoever they thought of that was holding the same device.
Kaoru gave it to the others and could read the looks on their faces.

Kaoru and his team saluted them off as they flew away in the Ragnarok. She had told them to return so they could begin their second mission of finding Kyo.

mirror on the wall

Kaoru, D, Dark and Kenshin huddled so Kaoru could give the orders on what to do about the monsters roaming their world.
“We’ll need to split into teams,” Kaoru said. “Dark and D, you’ll work together, that leaves me and Kenshin. We’ll split up and search the city. It’ll be faster for you two too travel by roofs, and us on ground to cover all aspects- high and low. It should take us an estimate…a whole day to search the city. I don’t think they would go out of range of the city, because they’re target is Alliana. The only Amorians how would have know Alliana is no longer here are dead, which leaves the rest clueless and suspicious. The only known monster who knows is the one who has taken Kyo to their world. Her unknown departure has possibly bought us the time to kill the rest of the monsters, before that Amorian monster that took Kyo tells their leader.” They nodded. “We’ll meet back here tonight. Good luck.”

Benihime
“Everyone enjoying the ride?” Faye’s voice boomed over the intercoms of the ship. “So far, it’s smooth sailing.”

“That’s because we haven’t reached the Earth’s atmosphere yet,” Satochi said, walking towards the cockpit. He opened the door and saw Faye laid-back in the pilot’s chair.

“Faye! You need to be on guard when we leave the atmosphere. I bet you there will be ships there waiting to destroy us.”

“Chill. I’ll be ready. I do suffer from a case of trigger happiness, so you have nothing to worry about.”

Suddenly yellow lights flashed throughout the ship, signaling an enemy was nearby. Faye and Satochi looked at the radar screen and saw three large Amorian ships awaiting them. And they were so close in leaving the atmosphere…

“Can I panic now?” Satochi asked her.

Faye quickly sat up and cracked her knuckles. She grabbed the steering device and slipped her hands into two handles where the triggers stayed. The window shield projected a scope and she focused it on the first ship. She waited for awhile and pulled the triggers. Red bursts of sizzling light shot out and struck the enemy ship.

Faye looked up to an anxious Satochi. “Don’t worry. You can go back to enjoy your cup of tea. I have everything under control.”

Boom! Something struck the side of their ship.

Satochi gave Faye a warning look. She glanced back at the screen and saw an enemy ship at their heels. She directed their ship to go into a dive, making Satochi slide into the large headboard. She then sharply reversed, passing and confusing the enemy ships. Satochi slid back into the wall.

“Oh yeah, Satochi, hold on,” Faye said with a smile.

She fired at the two puzzled ships and they exploded into dark flames and their debris wildly flew. Only one more ship left…

Faye bit her lip in concentration as she raced the ship. They were just exiting the atmosphere, but who was to be destroyed first?

Faye did a few suicidal flips around, missing the other ship’s line of fire. Flying toward the Amorian ship upside down, Faye let off an array of shots and the other ship detonated. She turned the ship right side up and looked around for any other ships. There were none.

Faye set the ship back into autopilot, unbuckled, and got up to look for Satochi. “Satochi?” she called out. Where was he?

A box moved to the side and Satochi crawled out from behind it. “I’m here,” he said breathlessly. Faye helped him up. “You okay?” she asked him.

“Oh yeah, never better,” he said, slowly standing up. “I’m just going to go to see Naru to make me some tea. You want some?”

          “Sure.”

“Okay.” He then limped away towards the door. Before he opened it, he turned to Faye.

“Good uh…pilot work. Keep it up.”

          “Thanks.”

He left the cockpit, clutching his head.
