Sorry It's Been So Long... Life, and Fibro, got in the way.

I'm sorry it's taken so long since my last entry in this forum. Life, and fibro have been complicating things in various ways, and I haven't really had a chance to get here. I deeply apologize for that.
My own fibro symptoms have escalated, as have [Link To User kenzie] 's, during the time I've not been here. Mine are far more frequent, and i...[Read Full Post]

Judy,

Welcome aboard! As you can see, our activity has been a little low here in the forum, but hopefully that is a good sign - that none of those who've dropped by earlier are going through a rough time lately.

Either way, we all support each other. You may find someone commenting who either has a similar situation, or knows someone who does....[Read Full Post]

Re: Merry Christmas

Jean,

Thank you for that wonderful Christmas wish for all of us. Please consider this as my Happy New Year wish for you, and all the rest of those who have joined this forum. Since it's just after 2:00 AM - yep, AM - LOL - I don't have time to make this wish as elaborate as yours, but it's from the heart just the same.

Thanks for the heads up on those derivatives! Thankfully, at least for me, my pain hasn't reached the level that would have me considering that as an option. Hopefully that will never happen, and I wish that same positive thought on all Fibro patients!

Thanks again for letting us know what you found. And for putting us in your favs!

You're right, that's one of the hazards of living in a small town. Shame, too, because small towns are also really neat to live in for a lot of reasons. Tough choice. Hope your new braces are holding up better than your first ones, too.

Thanks for sharing,

Angel Dust,

Don't worry about the sleepies. Believe me when I tell you that there are a BUNCH of us that fight them along WITH you. Chronic fatigue is a part of Fibromyalgia, so Kenzie and I fight the sleepies every single day. It does, currently, hit her more than me, but I'm sure not immune to it by any means. And you are certainly not alone.

Hello

Boy, can I sympathize with this forum! I've got everything but chronic illness! (unless asthma counts...) I was born with clubfeet and had surgery when I was ten months old. But as I've gotten older, my feet always hurt, and now my only choices are "live with it" or bone fusion surgery, which sucks. You are in a position that not everyone has experienced - seeing both sides of the suicide coin. I hope you take this rare opportunity and make it work FOR you. Learn from it. And remember - by helping...[Read Full Post]

Over the last few days, my legs have been up to their old tricks again, just with a different kind of pain. And the fact that it's different shouldn't surprise any of us with Fibro, or any that know how it works. And it couldn't have come at a worse time.
