Here's the deal:

This is a Blues Contest. The entry must fit the description... meaning sadness, defeat, pain, loss, remorse, hysteria, depression, cowardice, etc.

Any type of literary item is acceptable as long as you keep the content at a rating of 13+ or lower... so poetry, song lyrics, short stories, novels, essays, articles, etc.

Each post is a Leaf or will contain a link to your Leaf. Please use the bitem format if you know how. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter.

The entry fee is 13 GPs for every 13 KB per entry.
This means:
0 KB - 13 KB = 13 GPs
13.01 KB - 26 KB = 26 GPs
26.01 KB - 39 KB = 39 GPs
and so on and so forth.
Don't forget that this is per entry. For example, two entries of 1 KB each would mean an entry fee of 26 GPs.
You can include the entry fee within your post or a review of this contest forum or send it either through the GPs page or an ordinary e-mail.

The limit is 13 entries per contestant.

Round Five is taking place from Monday, January 11, 2010 9:30PM PST through Friday, February 12, 2010 5:00PM PST, which is 8:00PM EST/WDC time.

Prizes:
1st Place: 50% of the Pot
2nd Place: 30% of the Pot
3rd Place: 15% of the Pot
Honorable Mention: 5% of the Pot
The pot is composed of everyone's entry fees, including any amounts overpaid.
