Bio Block Bonanza - Winners Announced!
A different kind of contest that encourages and rewards members to create a bio.

Have you ever wandered to someone's port, started reading their bio and wished there was more?
Well, I have!
Too often I have stopped into someone's portfolio and there was no bio or there were links to other authors.  I don't care about other authors, I just care about you!  (Of course I care about other authors, just not at that moment)

Bio Block Bonanza is a contest with the goal to get members of WDC to create or enhance their bios.

I am of the opinion that a writer's bio offers a small peek into who they are as a person and as a writer.  In addition, a good bio helps a reader to provide feedback that is in line with who the writer is.  A good example is the age of the writer.

So here's the deal:
         *Note1*Write a biography about yourself.  Giving all those who visit your portfolio some added information about the author they are reading.
         *Note2*Think of all the bios you have read on the back of a book jacket.  You know you read it because you wanted to get a feel or a glimpse of who the writer was.
         *Note3*Just go to My Account and click on Edit Text and Special Settings.  There you can create your very own bio. 

The rules
(I know, pesky rules but what would life be without them):

         *Check2*As stated on Bio Block, you only have 650 characters to give us your entire life story.
         *Check4*Keep in mind that your bio is publicly accessible and thus an E rating is a must.
         *Check2*Just post a message in the forum saying: Participant.  The judges will then just click on your little portfolio and access the bio.

*Thumbsup*Honesty
*Thumbsup*Conciseness (you only have 650 characters)
*Thumbsup*Creativity; Bringing yourself to life
