 |  Three Benefits Raffle
You, me and a good cause benefit - sounds good? Then be a part of it! - Round 4 closed |
  This raffle is designed to support three good causes:  a helpful WDC group doing their beneficial work a lucky raffle ticket holder doing whatever he or she wishes with the GPs me, keeping upgraded and doing some more good  - except I won't benefit in this round as I've decided to change the splitting of the pot for this round! Details below   How it works Raffle tickets are 200GPs each There's no limit in the amount of raffle tickets any individual member can buy The current round ends once 500 tickets are sold, i.e. the pot will be 100K GPs. (If the last purchaser buys more tickets than would be needed to reach 500, the pot will of course be raised accordingly.) The pot will then be split three ways: 60% (i.e. 60,000 GPs) will go to the featured beneficial purpose - for this round, it will be "I.N.K.E.D."  20% (i.e. 20,000 GPs) will go to the lucky raffle ticket holder, whose ticket number has been drawn via virtual dice 20% (i.e. 20,000 GPs) will go to another lucky ticket holder determined by the virtual dice The next round starts after the GPs from the closed round have been distributed. I will post a message in the forum to announce this and re-open the raffle. To purchase tickets, please post a message in the forum and state how many tickets you would like. Tickets may be purchased on another person's behalf. If you wish to do so, please make sure you include a link to the user you want to gift the tickets to. To pay for the tickets, you can either include the appropriate amount of GPs in your message OR you can send them directly to "Three Benefits Raffle Pot" . To determine the lucky winner, I will throw the virtual dice right after the last raffle tickets have been sold. I will only throw the dice once for each lucky member, and I will post the winning ticket number in the forum. GPs will be awarded straight away.The person buying the largest amount of tickets (either for themselves or as a gift to others) will receive a Congratulations Merit Badge.The person gifting the largest amount of tickets will receive an Angel Merit Badge. Each round might feature a different beneficial WDC purpose, but Three Benefits Raffle might (and will, probably) support the same cause more than once.If you know a group or any purpose that does good to WDC members in any way and which you think deserves their share of the pot, you're more than welcome to nominate it, either by emailing me or by posting directly in the forum. Ticket prices, the amount of tickets to be purchased per round and the splitting of the pot might change as this raffle develops, but changes will never affect the current round and will always be announced above before the new round starts.Have fun and good luck!
