I'm trying to set the cost of a raffle ticket and then figure how much I have to work with so I can make it worthwhile ...[Read Full Post]

Re: Re: Copyright

About the only way I can answer this is to say that words (or sentences) can be copyrighted. However, a prompt, or an idea, cannot be copyrighted. The copyright laws are really hard to understand, but I know I'm correct on this part. Hope this answers your question!

Re: contest donations?

Hey Marti. I guess it might be a question of where are you publicizing your contest? If no one is getting the word on your contest to begin with, they won't know you're seeking donations. I haven't seen the contest you're referring to so I'll offer this other bit of advice.

Some folks donate just to be helpful; others donate because...[Read Full Post]

Hey Dreamin1. Please never, NEVER feel stupid to post a question in any forum. This site is so complex that even folks who have been here since it began get a little confused.
Hi Dreamin1. Each item in the Shop has an ID number (four digits). Use the 'shop' link. For example, use { } to display the travel bookmark.

You also have a Line and Short formats>

{{l-shop:1079}}: --> {l-shop:1079}

{{s-shop:1079}}: --> {s-shop:1079}

I hope this helps.

Re: Re: Blog Entry Promotion Box on Frontpage Please?

Seeing as blog writing is considered an essential tool for writers, it makes sense for such a big destination as WDC to have a serious blogging platform available.

Having a place to promote individual blog entries, and not just the whole blog carte blanche, is of the utmost importance to giving writing 2.0 (ie. blog writing) a fair go.
