The above Forum will teach you how to use the Bitem Format, and to enter messages in a Message Forum. You will also be given the opportunity to PRACTICE what you have learned in the Forum. __________________________ After you have learned how to use the Bitem Format, you will be able to enter our Weekly Newbie Challenge. A NEWBIE is one who joined Writing.Com within the last 6 months. Allowances will be made for certain members who have been at this site prior to March 2008, but still do not know how to use the Bitem Format, etc. ALL Newbies in our Weekly challenges will have ONE item reviewed (poems, articles, essays, and short stories - max. 12.00 KBytes) by our Reviewers. PICTURES/SIGS. will NOT be reviewed. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **  STARTING WITH THE 1st CHALLENGE Each week from Sunday to Friday we will be accepting entries. The more the merrier. The cut off for time for the entries will be Friday evening at midnight WDC time. After midnight if an entry is received, it will move on to the next week's Challenge.  NEW PRIZES!!!! BIGGER PRIZES!!!! Five prizes will be awarded each week to the members who's entries are chosen by our reviewers. 1st prize: 5000 gp's 2nd prize: 2500 gp's 3rd prize: 1250 gp's There will also be 2 Honorable Mentions receiving 500 gp's each. ______________________________    RULES These Challenges were NOT created to test your ability. They were designed to try to teach you how to use the Bitem Format, Emoticons, etc. We now have THREE DIFFERENT CHALLENGES which will be used weekly.
