I am declaring every Sunday henceforth to be Reviewer Appreciation Day. A really "RAD" idea, huh?

The forum intro says:

Have you received useful advice, really good and helpful advice, from a reviewer? Would you like to give that person's work some recognition here? Because truly, a good review takes time, thought, and effort.


So, on Sundays, from now on, let's focus on the good, and show that we really are here for a constructive purpose, and that this is not just a place to rant about the reviews we don't like.

After all, a good example is a good teaching tool.

So - think back (or look over some of the reviews you've received in the last few months). What stands out for you as a "best practice" for reviewing? Is there anyone who has given you consistently good help by way of review? Let's focus on that for the day, and every Sunday.

Also, in the spirit of Reviewer Appreciation Day, let's all remember to check that little box next to any particularly good public reviews. And in the spirit of practicing what we preach (yep, that's Jessie up there in the pulpit, passing the collection plate for the Unsung Heros of the Public Review Page...) be sure to say specifically WHY you thought that review was worth rewarding with GPs. I won't say "give till it hurts" - just see if you can't spare at least 100 GPs (spread it out over several reviews!) to say "Great job!" to those who deserve it.
