Purpose: We all know what our muses inspire us to do. They are our inspirations in the arts. Shortly after I joined this site, I came across a contest. It was the first contest I entered. It was a contest to write a poem with no Es. It inspired me to write "A Walk Through My World" Rules: Content: Quite simple. Write a poem or short story. Make sure there are no Es in it. Any E in it is immediate disqualification. This only goes for the body of the item. I don't care about title or brief description. Things to remember: You can't use words like the You can use words like a or an You can't use slang words like sum instead of some or b4 instead of before I love fantasy, I love adventure, I love comedy, I love horror, etc. There are so many possible genres and styles you could write about. Above all though, there is one key goal to this contest: You need to come up with a masterpiece without using the letter E at all. Not easy, but it will be quite the challenge for your skills and muse(s). Make sure to pay careful attention to word choice, don't let the challenge interrupt the flow of the piece, and above ALL: be creative and have fun! Prizes: A Creativity Merit Badge And a 25,000 Awardicon or 25,000 GP A Creativity Merit Badge And 10,000 GP A Creativity Merit Badge And 5,000 GP (Prizes susceptible to change depending on the amount of entries and/or all and any donations.) Donations: Judging will begin May 1st and should take no longer than a week, but it depends on amount of entries and/or their length. Judging is done solely by my muses and I. |
