Does your heart go thump, thump when you look back in time? Do you remember your first dance, your first kiss, when Kennedy was shot, when Nixon resigned, when Clinton uh... messed around, when OJ was on trial or even more? If you do, you are in the right place.

This contest is for writers to share their poetry and short stories with nostalgic themes. All entries must contain something nostalgic, a memory of yesterday.

1) You may enter one entry for poetry and one for short stories, maximum of two entries, and ALL entries must contain something nostalgic in them. Poems must be at least six lines long. Poems and stories should be no more than 3,000 words.
2) Only entries written for this contest will be accepted. Please do NOT edit after posting.
3) The entry must not have been awarded a prize previously.
4) One may not win back to back competitions. There must be one month in between each win.
5) Entry must be in bitem format unless you have no more room in your port. Email those directly to me.
6) Contest will run from the 1st of the current month through the end of the month.
7) All judgements are final and awards will be made by the 5th day of the following month.
8) Donations will be appreciated, but there are no entry fees.

First Place: Merit Badge and 15,000 gps
Second Place: 10,000 gps
Third Place: 5,000 gps
Honorable Mention: As Merited by Judges

A 10,000 Awardicon will be awarded instead of the Merit Badge IF you prefer and mention your preference in your entry.
