The premise is quite simple. I'll post the lyrics to a song. You read them and let them inspire you. You write a short story and enter it in { bitem } format and I judge the entries and award gps! First place: 5000 gps Second place: 2500 gps Third place: 2000 gps Honorable Mention(s): 1000 gps If there are less than 5 entries, I will only award first and second place. Under three entries, only first place. Most of all, have fun. You MUST post in { bitem } format unless you don't have room in your port. Basic Rules: 1. I prefer short stories, though you can enter poetry if you like. 2. Any genre and rating welcome, BUT, your post in the forum must adhere to the 18+ rating!!! 3. There is no minimum word count, but try not to go over 3000 words. I'm not going to count unless I think it's well over. 4. Only one entry per person per round. If you win a round, you can't win the following round. But, you can still enter to get a review and rating...you just can't place twice in a row. DEADLINE: All entries must be received by January 24th...This will probably be a bi-weekly contest...we'll see! Donations welcome!
