Here is where the fun begins All of you who are familiar with chat must have seen these babies before. They are called EMOTICON TAGS. Cute little faces that we can use to express our feelings or emotions. Here on WDC we also can use emoticons but they require more than just a push of a button. This forum was designed to show you how to properly use the whole range of EMOTICON TAGS we have on site. The biggest and most important thing to remember with all emoticons are the brackets. These { } are the only ones that will work. The following diagrams will show you how to properly input the info to get the emoticons to work on your page. Faces If you type this: ![]() You get this: Symbols If you type this: ![]() You get this: These two diagrams give you the basic idea on how to create emoticons and symbols. In addition to the diagrams I have shown here there are several other sets of tags that can be used. They are: Note Sets: Check Sets: Balloon Sets: Gift Sets: Flower Sets: Leaf Sets: Snow Sets: All of these tags were created following the basic rule of the { } and the "e:" before the item you want as shown in the diagrams. To get the item in the different color combinations, they start chronologically at number 1 and move down to the last number of the one in the set. For additional assistance, you can always refer back to the guide created by the Staff of WDC listed on each item you create under WritingML's. Feel free to use the forum below to practice. If you need help at anytime please email me. ~*~Damiana Renewed~*~ Check out these other helpful forums: 1. "BITEM FORMAT - Made Easy" 2. "The Beginning - Creating an Item" 3.
