From time to time, a new sponsor approaches us for a short list of talented candidates for "Rising Stars". We thought about it and decided to develop this forum to encourage wide participation in the creation of a first-rate reference list for our sponsors.

Selecting a Rising Stars is an important undertaking. We ask your help to maintain this space for QUALITY CANDIDATES who are well matched with our program. We hope the guidelines will be helpful to you through the process of submitting a candidate. This is the best way to help a worthy writer. We ask that you avoid lobbying sponsors to influence their selections.

GUIDELINES:

Bring us your best recommendations for RISING STARS with black suitcases. Candidates must have been W.Com members for a minimum of 3 full months with
a minimum of 5 pieces in his/her portfolio. Ask your candidate to fill in a bit of
info on his or her bio.

We're looking for quality writers and writers of all ages with serious ability and
potential. Please help us by sharing how you believe your candidate matches our guidelines. Please rate the quality of your candidate's writing from 1-10. We hope
you'll be able to rate your candidate from 7-10 ! Limit your post to a max of 4 sentences.

WHEN YOUR CANDIDATE IS PICKED UP BY A SPONSOR
When a sponsor selects your candidate, we'll delete your post with a message and an email to notify you that your candidate has been successfully selected as a Rising Star. Your contribution will be recognized with a finder's fee of 5,000 gift points and much appreciation.

As of Sunday, April 6, 2008, 31 writers have been successfully picked up by Sponsors and adopted ! Thank you for your help and wonderful
