Please don't be tempted out of kindness to submit more than 3 M2M reviews each month. We expect to maintain your focus and ours on working to raise the quality of our reviews. We know it will be easier to do this if the number you are obliged to complete each month is limited. Each plaque we give out for reviewing will be delivered based on the quality of the writing and care given to provide thoughtful reviews. Reviews that are just a few lines will not be likely to be awarded. Reviews that are thoughtful, well crafted, and include intelligent, well written comments will fare well. We don't have a preference as to whether you use a template or not. However, we do give weight to reviews that are caring and thoughtful. Especially long reviews are only as positive and useful as the content of the review. Our goal is to encourage each of you in your own way to press forward to achieve your very best as a writer-reviewer. We do not give out back-to-back awards (two months in a row). We enjoy spreading the joy and look forward to encouraging as many of our reviewers to excel as possible. Keep in mind the public reviewing pages are visited by a huge population of writers and readers on W.Com. What an incredible opportunity this is to showcase your best writing capabilities!

With the use of the new Review Affiliation Tool, it is no longer necessary to post your reviews. However, you MUST leave us a message in the forum below, stating that you have completed your required reviews for the month. If you want to also include the review #s, it does save me some time. This is our way of having you check in, say hi, tell us about any member items you enjoyed, and drop off your review requests on our new In & Out here: "Rising Star Review Request." 

IMPORTANT CHANGE~ Place one of our Rising Star Member-to-Member sigs found here, "Signatures--Member-to-Member Reviews "  at the BOTTOM of your reviews, not at the top. This puts the main emphasis on the item being reviewed, not our image.

Another way to find your reviews is to click on "My Account" (middle, left of your screen), then click on "Reviews & Feedback" there you can view sent and received reviews.

You will receive a different symbol for each month of correctly completing your three reviews. Everyone completing their reviews for three consecutive months (during the periods identified) will receive a merit badge, and maybe other prizes, too! If your review is listed below the main list, it's most likely because you did not make it public. I found out that there is a way to make these become public, that is, go back to the item you reviewed, clear the rating, and copy and paste your original review into it, then check our affiliation and the Make Public box, and resubmit it.
If you receive a review from a fellow Star, please do not set your item to private, as then we cannot see the review

After you submit a review, WDC immediately assigns it a seven digit #, jot it down, and enter them in your post below like this:

If you have trouble finding your reviews, another way you can find a specific review is to go back to the item, scroll down to the bottom where it says this:

Your Rating: Clear Rating | View Your Review

Click on View Your Review, and it will bring up the review and its number. It will start with a three and be up at the top of the review, copy it down, and post it in the review forum.
