Dear Sir/Madam,

You do not know me, nor will you find my name anywhere on this letter. Consider this the utmost in flattery that I should so choose to seek you out. I know much of you. I know that you are a survivor. You are the best in your field.

You may not be aware of it, but there is a rebellion brewing in our homeland of Ives. The legendary "V" has organized a new Zandra and they seek to overthrow our beloved King Riordan. This is not the Zandra of history and legends. These people seek to leave only chaos and anarchy behind when their work is done. Little is known about this Zandra and their mysterious leader. The army has not been successful in capturing any members of their band.

I write to you thus to implore you to take on a perilous mission. Seek out the one they call "V" and there you will find the Zandra. Infiltrate their organization. Stop their plans. Find and kill their leader. But be careful and do not get caught, for the Zandra cannot afford to be merciful. Should you succeed in this, that will be proof enough of your acknowledgement and acceptance of this letter. Do not speak of this to anyone, for I will know. I found you once, and I will again.

There are others on this mission with you. You will know them by this phrase: Time's change, but the means stay the same.

The hopes of our kingdom lie with you.
