Inspired by Tigger thinks of Prancer 's fantastic pizza party, the NaNoWriMists Pie Party is celebrating all the fantastic things that take place throughout October and November, including but not limited to:

Jezz - Lost has become a Preferred Author
Renegade 's daughter Eleanor's one-month birthday on October 15th
Barmymoo 's account birthday on October 30th
Prosperous Snow 's account birthday on October 31st
Halloween on October 31st
NaNoWriMo begins November 1st!
Bonfire Night on November 5th

Each week a new set of pies will be placed out for throwing. The first set of pies will be available on October 15th, and there will be at least one set each week. Additional pies may be available depending on prize quantities.

The basic idea is this: choose a flavour of pie from the list, and post in the forum saying who you are throwing it at. You can't throw a pie at yourself! It has to be someone else.

Make sure that the person you're throwing the pie at hasn't been thrown at before.

The greatest number of prizes you can receive is two: you can throw one pie, and you can have one pie thrown at you.

Due to a slow take-up for the last set of pies, you can now throw a pie even if you've thrown one before, but please if you've thrown several leave it a while and let other people have a chance You still have to choose a new person to throw it at, though.

Here is a list of people who have had a pie thrown at them already: "Pie-oneers" . Check that you aren't throwing a pie at someone on the list.

Both the thrower and the throwee will get a prize. The prizes will be chosen by virtual dice according to the pie number.

A new set of pies will be put out when the old ones are gone and enough prizes have been collected. Any donations of prizes, of any sort, will be greatly received!

You don't have to be part of the group to join in the party! Sign up to the NaNoWriMists closes on October 15th but if you've missed it, don't worry... there's always next year!

Now then... the pies. Remember, if a pie's already been thrown then you can't choose that flavour.

Please put your choice of pie flavour in the subject line. Check that no one has already thrown that flavour before you post. Prizes will be posted in the forums and also in "Pie Prizes"  once all the pies from that week have been thrown.

A virtual dice will be used to decide which prize goes with which pie.

Remember to check "Pie-oneers"  before you throw! Even under the new system (you can throw more than one pie), the person you throw it at must not have had one thrown at them before.
