A Brief Overview:
Writing.Com members are busy hiding eggs in their portfolios. Each one you can find will earn you a goodie of some sort. Hopefully you'll find one of those plastic eggs, filled will candy or money... but you might just find one of last year's rotten eggs... or a raw one that someone forgot to hard boil. Are you up for it?

What are the goodies?
You get a goodie for each item you find and review. (Make sure to include a sig from below.) If you review the wrong item, you don't get a prize.
If you review the right item, you will know only because of the prize you get in return. There is no link or image on the items you are reviewing to make it stand out as the correct item. (This is to make you honestly use your clues )
Goodies should be received within 7 days. If you do not receive a prize, let me know!

The Rotten and Raw Eggs will contain anything valued from 10 GPs to 1,000 GPs
The Plastic Eggs will be contain a goodie valued 3,000 GPs and UP!

The specific goodies available for each item are listed below.

The Virtual Dice will determine if you get a Plastic Egg or not. (You can view the likelihood of this for each item below as well.)

The goodies and prizes don't end there!
Originally set to be weekly, but frequency changed slightly some weeks due to health reasons, I will receiving a listing from item-owners who have decided to submit stats. This will list the name of everyone who reviewed their Egg item in the last week and who the best reviewer was (as long as there were at least 3 reviews given.)
Using that information, these rewards will be given:
Each time, the person who does the most reviews will receive: 2,500 Gift Points (in addition to any other goodies received for reviewing)
Each time, at least half of the best reviewers will receive: 4,000 Gift Point and a Style Merit Badge. The rest of the Best Reviewers will receive 4,000 Gift Points.
(Please note, prizes are being sent for the first month of this project all at once.)

Anyone who reviews ALL the items in the Egg Hunt will receive:
(rest of prize still being determined), 2 weeks of sponsoring, and 5,000 Gift Points.
If you are trying for this, know that items may be added through April 16.
Items have the option to "run out eggs" after a certain number of Plastic Eggs are found. Even an item that no longer has any eggs would need to be reviewed in order to count for this.

Anyone who reviews ALL the items AND has been the noted as being the Best Reviewer for the week for at least (number to be determined) items throughout the activity will instead receive:
(prize still being determined), 1 month of sponsoring, 15,000 Gift Points, and a merit badge (of my choosing)

The Egg Hunt runs from February 26 and through March 31 April 30 at 11:59pm.
You can sign up to hide Eggs between now and March 22 April 16th at 11:59pm. (Fill out "Sign-Ups for Hiding Eggs"  [E]. More information is below.)

A few important rules to keep in mind:
Remember: you need to find the right item. Your prize is the only confirmation that the correct item was found. If you review a different item, you get no reward. (However, the item only will notify you so you can look again.)
A review of "Good Job" or other pointless reviews will not count for rewards.
Don't forget to include the signature (image or text). (If this is not done, you run the risk of not receiving a prize.)
If any clue leads you to a book, you are only responsible for reviewing the first chapter/entry.
New items may be added all the way up to April 16. New clues are posted at the end of the list. You can hunt for until April 30 at 11:59pm.

Please do private reviews only so others can't look through the public review pages to find the right items. (If you want to use the images on other reviews or in your signature, you may. This is highly encouraged, even though there will be no goodies for doing it)
