The Holding Pond is growing and our main goal is to help writers of all stages to develop. To be able to do this better than we were, we are going to be closing this poetry contest for just a little bit to revamp it... When we come back, you will find a bigger, better, and more inspiring contest! I hope that you will join us...

RULES!
Poem must be new, created for this contest! No exceptions. One poem, per person, per prompt! No previously awarded poems. No entry longer than 40 lines... I mean.... really! If following an 'Open Prompt' please state any formal use of poetry used. Edit, edit, edit... until the contest closes for the round! Contest is open to everyone! Keep entries at 18+ or below. No graphic content. Contest runs from the 15th to the 15th... no late entries. Entries MUST be posted in bitem format!
