** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** A View Of The Autism Spectrum Educating and Sharing through Writing The Big Idea:  This contest is here to spread the word about the autism spectrum to increase awareness... of what life is really like, of the importance of early intervention, of whatever else someone might choose to write about.It is here to provide a cathartic outlet and a voice to those affected by the spectrum in some way: as a parent, an educator, a doctor, a family member, someone on the spectrum, and any other points of view.If you are interested in this contest, you might also be interested in joining "Affected By Autism, Asperger's, Etc..."  [E]Rules:  Enter as many times as you want. Each entry must be newly created for this contest.Entries due: January 2, 2008, 11:59pm. Judging will take place at this time; editing can take place until the winner is announced. (If less than 5 entrants have submitted items by this time, the deadline may be extended and/or prizes may be decreased)All entires should be based on your experiences (as a parent, someone on the spectrum, a teacher, an observer, a friend, etc.). Names, places, and events can be altered!Each entry must focus on the autism spectrum in some way. It can be a written as an advice guide, a short story, poem, or any other format.Each entry should be linked in the forum. (item, bitem, citem, ritem, etc)Intros (titles and brief descriptions) must be rated E. Content ratings can be anything.Each entry requires a 1,000 Gift Point entry fee.
