It's been a long time since we ran the Comedy All Sorts, but thanks to a sudden upsurge of funny writes out there in WDC land, I thought it was time to blow off the cobwebs *Bigsmile*

*Star* Poetry, Short Story, Script, Novel, c-Note, Review, Poll, Survey, Letter, Forum - ANYTHING
*Star* They don't have to be new, or unawarded but you MUST follow the few rules that do exist.
         Previously awarded entries which win will simply gain an appropriate Merit Badge, or 10,000 gps, instead.

*Bullet* Only one entry per person, per prompt
*Bullet* Round 17 Prompt is: A funny thing happened on the way to . . .
*Bullet* The prompt must be clearly demonstrated if not directly quoted
*Bullet* Closing date for Round 17 is 31st August, at noon WDC time
