That's right, a five with six zeros behind it. And the great thing is, you may not even have to buy a ticket to win part of that jackpot. Here's how it works.

There will be five thousand tickets 'sold'. One thousand of these can be bought outright for 1000 GPs each. The other four thousand tickets can be 'bought' by participating in various contests, which will be announced as soon as we move from the 'donation' phase to the 'raffle' phase. When all the tickets are sold, the drawing will begin.

PAYOFF:

The actual pot will be split three ways:

"The WDC Angel Army"  -- 1.25 million GPs
"Invalid Item"  -- 1.25 million GPs
THE LUCKY WINNER -- 2.5 million GPs!!!

RAFFLE TICKETS:

WHEN tickets go on sale, they'll be 1,000 GPs each. HOWEVER, only 1,000 will be available for direct purchase. The other 4,000 will be reserved for distribution through various contests throughout WDC. If you'd like to distribute tickets through YOUR contest, see the Contest section below.

DONATIONS:

I'll be taking donations right up to the date the last raffle ticket is sold/won. However, DO NOT SEND ME GPS! That's not what I'm looking for. What I'm looking for are signatures and door prizes. And by door prizes, I mean...well, check out the door prizes that have been donated so far for ideas.

The signatures I need are ones that can be made publicly available, so that people can add them to their personal signatures to promote my raffle.

CONTESTS:

I'm looking for contests to support by giving them (not selling, giving!) raffle tickets that they can give away in their contests. For example, you could give away one ticket for every entry to your contest until all your tickets are given away. WHEN CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS DIRECTLY?

As I said earlier, there will 5,000 tickets. 4,000 of them will be distributed so as to promote various writing and review contests on WDC. The other 1,000 are reserved so that people can buy them directly and have a shot at the grand jackpot, as well as the great door prizes that are starting to pile up. I'll start selling those 1,000 tickets (at 1,000 GPs each) once I've got about 2,000 of the contest reserved tickets distributed.

WHY AM I DOING THIS?

Simple. I've made friends in the groups listed above, as well in WDC in general, and I wanted to run a raffle/contest where I could promote writing and reviews, and help out my friends as well.

MISCELLANEOUS

This is just a donation phase only. I haven't finished setting up everything, so raffle tickets aren't for sale yet. When they are, money will be sent to "Angel Cookie Raffle Bank" . If you look over there, you'll see I've put in a million GPs to cover 'initial expenses.' Expect to see the pot grow as we get tickets 'sold.' If you have any questions, or see anything I need to change/improve, do not hesitate to ask!

And DO NOT send any GPs to my bank or to me. Raffle tickets are not for sale yet, and I don't want any GPs donations. Thanks for the thought, though!
