Funnyface is happy to be back joined Writing.com on January 21st, 2003. In her time here she has touched the lives of many people with her gentle spirit, kind and thoughtful words of encouragement and endless support. She gives of herself without pretense and asks nothing in return. She reviews from her heart and writes from her heart. To date she has rated more than 6,369 items and reviewed more than 5,611 items. Chances are she's reviewed your work. Smile Anyone who's had the honor of crossing paths with this beautiful and gentle woman will tell you she's become a blessing in their lives. I can say this without a moments hesitation.

Within a few short weeks of joining Writing.com she found me and quietly took me under her wings. She's always shown me compassion and understanding. She lifted my spirit by believing in me and helping me believe in myself. Everything she's ever said or done, she's said and done with love. As our bond grew I asked if I could adopt her. Ultimately we adopted one other, not on paper with pen, but in our hearts with love. She's become my other Mother *Heart* - My Big Butterfly. She is an Angel! I am proud, honored and truly blessed that you've graced my life with your presence Funnyface, and I adore you! Smile

To those who may not understand why we use the term 'adoption' and why it means so much, these wonderful items written by her might help explain.



I created this forum for the "soul" purpose of bringing together other members whose lives have been touched and blessed by this gentle woman. There are countless members who love and adore her as much as I do and if given the chance, they'd adopt her in a heartbeat! Perhaps you already have. This forum is your opportunity to do just that and officially declare it. She has given so much to me and the members of Writing.com simply by being who she is. We've become her extended family and as such, I would like this to be a place where everyone can express just how much they love and treasure her! She is without question a positive force in our community.

Simply title your subject line "I'm adopting Funnyface". As a part of her adoption, I would like anyone who wishes to write something about her and how she has touched your life. Even if you only recognize her name from a past review, you can post. You don't have to know her as well as I do. Did she brighten your day with a wonderful review? Perhaps she sent you a ribbon for your favorite poem or story? Share a memory of what makes Funnyface special to you and make her smile.

You can post what you would like to say directly into the forum in a short note, or if you'd like, write a poem or even a short story. It's really up to you. If you prefer to create a static item, you can link it in {bitem} form in your post. The forum with any links will be forwarded to her. Smile
