STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE CONTEST

I would like to thank Countrymom Just Passing Thru for this Merit Badge and the ribbon that now graces my contest!

I have been running this contest for over a year now, and I must say that it has been such a pleasure to read all of the entries. I want to thank everyone that has had an interest in entering it, donated to it, and promoted it. You have all helped to make it the success that it's become. Thank you!

THESE ARE THE RULES:

1. Write a short story or poem using one of these pictures from the past as your prompt.

2. Your entry must be posted in the forum in bitem format. EXAMPLE:
ID:
Title: Invalid Item
Description: This item number is not valid.
By: Not Available.
Replace the # with your item ID.

3. It doesn't have to be a new write, but it MUST follow the prompt you choose, and all of the rules see rule #6

4. Two edits are allowed during the duration of the contest, but please let me know if you do so they can be re-read before the contest closes again.

5. Write the number of the prompt you choose in your Entry Post.

6. HERE I'VE MADE A CHANGE - Due to so many good entries having to be changed to follow Rule # 6 - where it stated the entry must begin and end with the same THREE WORDS - I am changing the Rule to state that the entry must begin and end - in either the same THREE WORDS or the same SENTENCE.

( This rule has posed some problems, and I was lenient with it , however, it is in the rules and must be followed in future rounds, or I will have to disqualify your entry in all fairness of the rest of the contestants.)

7. If it's a short story keep it no more than 2500 words, and include the word count.

8. Limit two entries per person..
