Hi, and welcome to my Newbie writing contest, part of my celebration of WDC's birthday, which I'm holding at:

The Rules:

This contest is only open to writers who WDC accounts were opened on or after March 1st, 2008

Entries may be poems, stories or non-fiction pieces of any length and on any topic, but keep entry ratings 18+ or below, please!

Entries may not have won awards in other contests.

One entry per person please

You may edit your entry as much as you desire prior to the deadline. However, once the deadline has passed, please do not edit your entry until the judging is completed.

Use the bItem format to post your entries in this forum. If you don't have room in your portfolio to post your stories, email me and I'll put them in mine. (If you don't know how to create a bitem, you can learn at "Newbie Hyperlinking 101 - Bitem Format" )

Depending on the number and type of entries, entries may be divided into different categories (size, type, etc.) for judging and awarding purposes

Entries may not be submitted prior to 12:01 a.m. WDC time, September 1st, 2008. Deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. WDC time, September 30th, 2008

The Prizes:

Each entry will receive one ticket to my "Angel Cookie Raffle" 

One awardicon will be given for each five entries entered. In addition, each author receiving an awardicon will receive a merit badge as well as a unique bonus clue to "The Review Puzzle" . The size of the awardicons will vary, depending on how many entries are recieved. However, at least one 75K awardicon will be awarded.
