Well, my crazy kitty was out for days in the woods. I had to
search for her. Sure enough, there she was on a branch howling
at me nose to nose. I looked at her and asked if she was hungry.
Peanut looked back and said a faery would not let her come
down from the pine. I begain to enchant my gaze to find this
        tricky faery.
There she was blending with a red leaf. It was Winkin.

                      "Ha! You found me!
                        I like your cat.
Her fur is a soft bed."

"Peanut has been two days in this pine" I look hard at Winkin,
"She must eat." Wink stood on Peanut's head and stuck her
tongue out at me. "Winkin let my cat go." my gaze narrowed.

"I like her hot breath in the cold wood."

Winkin flew about my head giggling. I looked at Peanut and gave
her a command. Peanut lept and caught Winkin by her wings.

                      "My wings!
You would not dare eat me!"

Winkin's tiny fists of fury flew up at Peanut's nose. "Winkin she is
my cat, but she is hungry. Don't anger her." I concentrated to
calm Peanut. I failed. One gulp and a bite and Winkin was down
Peanut's throat. I was in shock.

                        "There is more....
                          to me then ...
                        bone and meal!"

Winkin crawled out of Peanut's left ear. Peanut howled and climbed
on to my shoulder. "Peace be with you. I prayed you would be saved"
        I looked desperately at Winkin.

                        "Young apprentice,
                          I will let you feed
                          your cat."

With a flutter of her wings, Winkin flew up into a knoll in the pine.

        I gave Peanut a bath.

      :)
