Introduction:

Welcome to my prompt based contest. The goal here is to answer the age old story creating question: what if? The answer to that question opens up the possibility for action, for interest, for character development, for a story. I got the idea from a campfire that I created for a contest where each person had to write how their character would react to a "what if" question presented.

Special Round - Since the b-day round wasn't much of a success and I failed as a judge (my apologies to those who entered) here is an end of year round. The prizes will be good and I might throw in fun stuff if people enter.

The Rules:

1. All entries must be posted in {"bitem:######"} format. If there isn't enough room in your port email me and we can work something out. Do not post the story directly in the forum for it will get deleted.

2. The entry must follow one of the prompts.
3. Keep all posts within the rating of the forum. Stories can be any rating, as long as they are marked the proper ones by WDC standards.
4. One entry per author.
5. Stories should be at least 500 words but not over 5000. (No poetry)
6. New stories only, created for this contest.


Prizes:
(Dependent on number of entries. If less than 5 enter, will only give 2 prizes)

1st Place - 25k Awardicon and 5k in gps
2nd Place - 10k Awardicon and 3k in gps
3rd Place - 10k Awardicon and 1k in gps

Also - Genre merit badges will be given away to a select few.

(Amounts go up if gps are donated to the contest)
