Are you a poet? Maybe some of you have been writing poems all your life but you've never shared them. Others may never have tried or thought they couldn't write poetry. This is the perfect place for all of you to enter a poem. You never know, you may be a poet in disguise. We would like to encourage everyone, even the short story or novel writers to give it at least one shot! You just might surprise yourself.

Each round will be different than the one before. I may ask you to write based on a picture prompt, include a word or phrase in your poem, or to follow an exact style of poetry.

So come on in, and be sure to follow all the rules!

RULES

1. Paper Doll Gang Newbies only.
2. Only poetry may be submitted.
3. One entry per round.
4. Nothing over 13+ rating please.
5. Item must be posted in Bitem Format (see link at bottom for help with this).
6. Item may be new or old just as long as it follows the prompt.
7. Please do not edit your poem after the deadline until the contest has been judged.
8. Entry must be submitted by 12pm WDC time on the 15th of each month.
(If you miss the deadline you still need to submit an entry but it will not qualify for prizes).
