Novel Focus Forum
To get started, please make a post that includes the item or entry # for your novel. If your novel is in book form, put the entry number. If it is in item form, please make a folder in your portfolio for your novel and post the item number of the folder. Don't link the novel. If you have a book cover illustration, you may provide that link as well.
Each author may decide what he or she needs help with, such as length, wordiness, suspense, etc. If the author doesn't have something in particular, the members may comment on what they feel needs the most work. Each member of the group has one month to finish the novel and give feedback. Each month will a different member's novel.

General comments
To give feedback: Make a new post with the subject line: Feedback: (Title). If you are commenting on individual chapters, include that in the subject line, as: Feedback: (Title, chapters #-#). You may make as many posts as you like, but to be considered an active member, you must make at least one post per novel. EVEN IF YOU DON'T FINISH THE NOVEL, MAKE A POST ON WHAT YOU HAVE READ.
In your post, please address these issues:
1) Whatever the author requested
anything else you think is pertinent pertaining to:
2) plot
3) characters
4) setting
5) grammar
You may comment on anything else you feel is relevant.

IMPORTANT: 1 will drop your novel back by one month. 2 s will drop you to the inactive list until you review again.
