WELCOME to the TALES from the DARK SIDE Contest!

HALLOWEEN EDITION!!

This round is open to ANYONE ages 13 and up. All entries for ROUND THREE must have something to do with HALLOWEEN......Usually this contest is a free write contest but with the upcoming HALLOWEEN HOLIDAY coming up I thought it would be fun to try something a bit different. There will also be a 500GP entry fee for this round and rather than the TOP THREE ENTRIES being awarded the TOP SIX ENTRIES will be awarded prizes, along with two honorable mentions.

PRIZES will include. AWARDICONS FOR THE TOP TWO ENTRIES PLUS 5,000in GP"S, MERIT BADGES for THIRD and FOURTH PLACES and 2,500 in GP"S, FIFTH AND SIX places will receive GIFT CERTIFICATES to one of the many Signature shops here on WDC and 1500 in GP's,. 1,000 GP's will be issued to each Honorable mention.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE RULES BELOW..........


This contest is a monthly contest, to give people plenty of time to write. This contest will also be a FREE WRITE contest. (NO PROMPTS!) So you can really use your imaginations when coming up with a plot.

The rules of this contest are simple.

Rule #1: Stories must fall within the (Horror, Paranormal, Supernatural) genre. Stories maybe stories that you already have in your port as long as they have NOT already been awarded.

Rule #2: Word count must be between 1000 and 3000 words. I will accept stories within 500 words of limit.

Rule #3: All stories must contain DIALOGUE.

Rule #4: NO late entries will be accepted.

Rule #5: Only one entry per person.

Rule #6: Rules are subject to change at anytime, so PLEASE make sure you check the rules periodically.

Rule #7: PLEASE post all entries in bitem format.

Three winner's will be selected each month and posted in a special forum for winner's.

First place is: MB for the Genre

Second place is:1,000 in GP's

Third Place is: 500 in GP's

Prizes are subject to change.

Contest starts at noon WDC time on OCTOBER 5th and will end at noon WDC time on NOVEMBER 5th. If you are interested in entering please let me know in the forum below.

Anyone donating 30K in GP's to the contest will receive a Generosity MB and will be listed on the contest page.
