Forum for writers interested in submitting work. |
|
Come and visit us at http://www.speculativefictionstories.com and have a look at our new speculative fiction blog at http://spub.storeblogs.com/ Now Open! The Spectacular Speculations Publishing contest! Submit your speculative fiction work there for a chance at a monthly prize! You may continue to add submissions in this forum if you choose, but you lose nothing by putting them into the contest and gain a chance at some extra gift points for your work. Check it out at:
You may now submit work directly to Spectacular Publishing, even if it is not in your Portfolio. Just go to http://www.trueshare.com/ and then: if you are submitting written work, enter Author as the UserName and WriteSub as the password. if you are submitting artwork, enter Artist as the UserName and ArtSub as the password if you are submitting a sample review for a place on the review team, enter Reviewer as the UserName and ReviewSub as the password. Then upload your material to the folder you have access to. If you send a post here or email to me on site I'll get to it that much faster, but I'll be checking the folders regularly so no worries. Make sure that you include contact information in your submission. A name and email address will do nicely. If you are interested in having your story published then you're in the right place. We're looking for all kinds of Fantasy and Science Fiction stories, as well as Horror stories that fall into one of those sorts. As a contributing author, we only ask for the rights to distribute the work you submit, you maintain all other rights. You can have your story published in other venues if you so choose, so long as our publication and future potential distribution does not infringe on the rights you are selling to other publishers. We also accept previously published stories, again so long as our distribution will not infringe on the other publishers rights. We do require you to place a copyright notice on your work, declaring that it is your own. Please note that this forum is for discussion of the Spectacular Publishing anthologies, and particularly writer submissions to said anthologies. If you are looking for a place to submit work for review and editing suggestions, you may want to check out the many review forums on this site, which can offer more in depth reviews and writing advice. If you have any other questions or comments, or would like to send some work to us, leave a message here. Colin Neilson, head of Spectacular Publishing. |
