Have you entered other contests here at WDC and felt that your entry was a cut above the rest, only to discover that the shiny awardicon you so desperately wanted to see attached to your entry, was in fact attached to someone elses item?
Would you be ecstatic if I were to tell you that this contest has been specifically created to give you and your entry another shot at victory and recognition?
Well that is exactly what the aim of this contest is! To fish out those old contest entries which you poured your heart and soul into, blow off the dust which has accumulated since they were shoved to the back of your port and seize that second chance to receive the awardicon you were originally striving for.
There are some rules which will need to be followed to enter this contest:
1. All items submitted must be poetry, short stories or flash fictions. This contest does not accept chapters or novels due to time restrictions.
-Wordcounts are not to exceed 2,500 words.-
2. All genres minus Sci-fi are accepted. My apologies but this genre does not interest me and I wish to remain enthusiastic while I am reviewing your entries.
3. Ratings will not be limited. I will accept any rating but please keep the content of your forum posts to an 'E' rating only to avoid deletion.
4. All entries are to be posted into the forum using the bitem format. {bitem:item I.D number}. Please do not type your entry directly into the forum or it will be deleted.
5. If your entry was written to a prompt please make note of it in your post along with any additional information you can provide for better guidance and understanding of your item.
6. Each round will go for one week (7 days) and only one entry per person per round will be accepted so be sure to pick your best.
7. Keep in mind this contest is for entries which have received a maximum of second place recognition in other contests here at WDC. First place recognitions will be denied and deleted as will any items which have already received an awardicon.
8. You may edit your entry up until the deadline but any alterations made to your item after this time will result in your submission being deleted.
Each week only one item will be selected for the win unless the competition is so fierce that there is need for a tie. The winning item/items will receive a 10K awardicon along with a signature of the winner's choice from either "BITS AND PIECES"  or "Mood shades." . All winning items will be permanently displayed at the bottom of this page as round winners.
For the most part I will be judging all entries but in the event that I am unable to judge your entries in time due to work commitments, Goth Angel alive and kicking  will take my place and judge for me.
From time to time a guest judge may be invited.
As this is a contest, quality is expected. I will be specifically targeting punctuation, typo errors, presentation and overall entertainment received from the item. If I feel these areas are lacking it will affect the rate you receive from me. With that in mind, please thoroughly check your items before the judging period to ensure you are completely satisfied.
