My name is Lisa and I started writing about 3 years ago. I absolutely love children's and young adult fiction. After teaching elementary school for about 10 years, I am now a home missionary with Teen Challenge to struggling teenagers. I have 1 husband, 2 beautiful small little girls, and 10 teenagers to look after, but even with all that, God has seen fit to call me to write and I am thankful! I am very excited to be beginning my first writing course with the Institute of Children's Literature after studying Children's Lit at Hollins University in VA. I know I have found kindred spirits on WDC and I love my new gang of fellow paper dolls :)
