Write about a time in history and get rewarded with gps.

The History Contest


I Love history, it is like a big story book. Layer and layer of stories just ready to be uncovered. So, I would like to start a history contest!! It is fairly simple.

*Check4* I will choose a time period history for you to write about.The current prompt is:

Write about times during World War I or if you want World War II. Good luck.

You can write about it in any of the forms below, as long as you follow the guidelines listed.

*Check4* Short Story- Limited to 1500 words.
*Check4* Essay - Limited to 1000 words.
*Check4* Poems - Limited to 40 lines.(Any Form)
-- Really don't go over too much I don't have a lot of time to read it.

*Check4* Limited to one entry per contestant. To make it fair.
*Check4* Please enter your entries in Bitem Form please.
*Check4* This is a month long contest.
*Check4* Prizes will be announced on the first week
*Check4* There is a required 100 gps entry fee.
*Check4* Please also keep it 18+ and lower. Thanks.

Contest deadline is 4 May 2011, WDC time at midnight.

Prizes
*Check4* 1st place-- 10000 gps or a 10,000 award
*Check4* 2nd place-- 5000 gps
*Check4* 3rd place-- 3000 gps.

*Check4* In the situation that there are only 8 contestants or less only 1st prize will be awarded.
*Check4* If only one person enters then no prize will be awarded.
