BIDDING IS CLOSED. THANKS FOR COMING TO THE OLYMPICS! THE FORUM IS STILL OPEN FOR COMMENTS SKI RIGHT INTO OUR OWN WDC OLYMPIC COMPETITION! LOADS OF FUN AND PRIZES! YOU COULD EVEN WIN YOUR OWN "GOLD MEDAL!"   Welcome to the 2010 Winter Olympics: The WDC Auction! The Olympics are held once every four years, and this year Vancouver, Canada is hosting these exciting events right now, February 12th through 28th. This auction is a celebration, WDC style! Come and join the fun and excitement, and take a trip to the greatest sporting event of all,  the Olympics! A huge thank you goes out to Fyn  for the great "Going For The Gold" ribbon that graces this auction!!   This auction allows you to bid on the individual Olympic sporting events! Each Olympic event is represented by a Donated Package. Become the Gold Medalist in the sport of your choice! Always wanted to be a Luge champion? Now is your chance! And imagine how much better-looking you would be with a Gold medal for Curling! You can do this all from your computer chair without freezing your toes off!  Auction goals:  Provide a fun, entertaining, and exciting way for WDC members to participate in the Olympics! Raise GPs for groups that promote positivity, and encourage members within the WDC Community 100% of the Gift Points raised will be donated. As the host of this auction, I will not be keeping any of the GPs for myself.  Rules/Guidelines Every member who donated an Olympic Event Package will receive a prize at the end of the auction, that even the real athletes can't get (unless they're WDC members).Olympic Event Package Donations are closed. Thanks to everyone who has adopted an Olympic Event to sponsor. Now the fun begins!Bidding is open right now, during the actual Olympics. The auction runs through Closing Ceremonies, which we'll call February 28th at 11:59 WDC time.I have not included every Olympic Event being held, but tried to include the main ones. If you would like me to add one that is missing, email me and I'll try to remember to include it during the 2014 WDC Winter Olympics Auction, four years from now!  Bidding is open to everyone. I recommend that each new bid be increased by a minimum of 1000 GPs.Any bids made after the Closing Ceremonies will not be accepted. I will ask all winners to pay for their packages within 7 days. I will notify the package donors, and ask them to fulfill it within 2 weeks. How the GPs will be donated:10% will go to "Reviewing Reviewers"  10% will go to "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" 10% will go to "Showering Acts of Joy Group " 10% will go to "JUST BECAUSE I WANT TO FORUM TEMP CLOSED" 10% will go to "RISING STARS CHARITABLE FUND" 10% will go to "The WDC Angel Army" 10% will go to "The Looking Glass Library" 10% will go to "The Sci-fi Writers Guild" 10% will go to "Knights of the Review Table (on hiatus)" 10% will go to "Vigilante Angel Ranger Team"  Anyone that wishes to make a donation to this auction, please send it to the "2010 Olympic Auction Bank" (1634935).
