![]() As usual in the great waters of The Talent Pond, we try and keep things related but not every time do we find a term so fitting as the buoy. As most of you know, the buoy is (in nautical terms - per dictionary.com), a distinctively shaped and marked float, sometimes carrying a signal or signals, anchored to mark a channel, anchorage, navigational hazard, etc., or to provide a mooring place away from the shore. This is fitting because this area will be your navigational aid to our workshops and learning tools. However, if you read on, you'll find a definition that is what makes it so perfect in this forum. Buoy also means: to sustain or encourage (often followed by up): Her courage was buoyed by the doctor's assurances. That's what this forum is for and that's what The Talent Pond has always had as it's main mission. We are all about encouragement and that's what we hope to achieve in this forum also. Available Workshops This workshop will give an overview of the plotting process (i.e. planning out your story) by using the participants' own concepts as the basis for discussions.
