Open Line Friday Short Story Contest
A weekly short story contest for people who don't need no stinkin' prompt!

This is a weekly writing contest for short stories, articles or essays on any subject, any genre, fiction or non-fiction, as long as it's rated 13+ or less.  There are NO PROMPTS and NO SPECIAL WORDS.  You're on your own and may the best story win!

RULES:
*BulletR* Enter 1500 WORDS OR LESS (no prose or poetry please).
*BulletR*  NEW or OLD – AWARDED or NOT
*BulletR* If it's never won a prize in THIS CONTEST, you can enter it here.
*BulletR* Post a new message below with a {b-item:XXXXXX} link.
*BulletR* This is a family place – stories must be rated E, ASR or 13+
*BulletR* You may edit your story up until the deadline.
*BulletR* Deadline: EACH and EVERY FRIDAY at MIDNIGHT WDC TIME.

TIME PERIOD:
