Tinted Glasses

My perception of your expression
in no way means I am right.
Only that I am peaking in your window,
thru my own tinted glasses.
If I could,
I would change my glasses
so I can see what you see.
But try as I might,
your glasses just won't fit me.
The best I can do
is have the doc scribble me a note,
and change the tint of my glasses.
Then maybe my perception
will match your expression,
and the world as we know it
will cease to be.

Hi! Welcome to my poetry review forum! After putting this aside for awhile, I have decided to bring it back with a start of a new year. This forum is strictly for poetry. I have nothing against stories, I love them in fact; but I am more comfortable with poetry. I set up this forum for several reasons. I enjoy reading and reviewing, but I have noticed that there are some authors on this website that do not want constructive reviews. This is my way of making sure that I am reviewing for authors who want and need a constructive review. I also set up this forum as a way to help pay for my membership. So hopefully you and I will both get what we want. *Smile*
My intention with every review that I give is to be honest, helpful, and to give encouragement. I am no means perfect, but I do want to help where I can. So please do not hesitate to post a request if you are really wanting an honest, constructive review. If there is something particular you want me to look for in your poem, please let me know.
