WEB LEARNING ConTEST Welcome participants and helpers!! Our First Contest Begins at 12 a.m. wdc time on October 15th, 2011, and will end at 12 a.m. wdc time on the date that I consider there are enough submissions to warrant it . The prompt: Remember when you did what you thought you couldn't do. This is a new way for WEB members to earn score points and a special reward!! Only WEB members may participate. If you wish to become a member of WEB, email Kristi Mouse   ."Writer's Encouragement Buddies"  [ASR] THE REWARDS  You will get 5 score points for just participating. The Winner gets 15 points and a special gift! 2nd Place gets 10 points and a special gift! 3rd Place gets 8 points and their item listed on this page until the end of the next contest. 3 Honorable Mentions get 5 points. (In other words, the 3 honorable mentions will get 10 points all together, and so on.)  THE RULES   Entries will be posted in the forum with the subject "Entry" and the date you submitted it. Anything not posted correctly will not be recognized. (this means you will not even earn the points for participating. period.) I would prefer entries be in bitem format, but they can be posted directly to the forum. Entries posted directly to the forum will not have their item # listed here if a winner of 3rd place, nor will I copy and paste the full entry to the forum header. Those who do not participate are asked to help me by reviewing entries and emailing me the public review # or the review of that which is posted directly to the forum. (IF you do not know how to email a review #, please email me and ask.) Entries must be at least a 16 line poem or "rememberance" paragraphs of 3 or more. You may also post short stories (not more than 1000 words please) or 3 haikus or more. Entries must be considered substantial. Early entries will be emailed if they need more.Always Remember: ENCOURAGING EACH OTHER IS THE WRITE THING TO DO! |
