Thanks to iKïyå§ama Highlighted in the following WdC Newsletters: "Contests & Activities Newsletter (November 29, 2011)" "Contests & Activities Newsletter (December 13, 2011)" "Contests & Activities Newsletter (April 18, 2012)" "Contests & Activities Newsletter (September 19, 2012)" "Contests & Activities Newsletter (October 31, 2012)" "Contests & Activities Newsletter (November 6, 2012)" "Drama Newsletter (May 8, 2013)" How many times have you read a novel and two weeks later couldn't remember the name of the protagonist? F. Scott Fitzgerald said, "Character is plot, plot is character." Peter LaSalle has noted, "out of character, plot easily grows, but out of plot, a character does not necessarily follow." Who can forget Captain Ahab, Scrooge, Huckleberry Finn, Scarlett O'Hara, or Lennie from "Of Mice and Men"? These strong characters brought life to these classic books and will never be forgotten. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to create a character that I will remember long after your story ends. A character that brings your story to life, and makes it matter. Need inspiration to develop your character? Did you know there's an 'app' for that?
