"Rockin Resource Library" 

     

Apply the weekly given lesson to your weekly reviews, and submit by the deadline (2 by the end of each week).
Lessons are posted here.

Please note that you may review more than the required two, however each week a new lesson is given and you must read and apply that to your reviewing, so therefore each week of the class you must submit your reviews by the due date.

Your two weekly Rockin' Reviews must be a minimum of 1,500 characters w/o Writing ML, and preferably 2K+.

Always start with a greeting such as:

Dear Hannah, I am reviewing your {item:xxxxxxx} as a student in the "PDG Rockin' Review Academy" . These are just my observations about your work, and you should take what you find useful and disregard the rest.

Always point out grammar and spelling errors,, but please don't start your review off with these. Start with something positive, and always be kind but corrective too.

I will say it again, NEVER start your review with a negative comment.

Never use color and bold for your entire review; use for headers and emphasis only.

Always highlight favorite lines they wrote by copying and pasting them into your review, and you MUST say why they were your favorites. If you say, "your characters descriptions were good," highlight some in your review, and say what you liked about them.

After the body of your review, place a Rockin sig at the BOTTOM. The sigs are found here: "Rockin Review Academy Sigs" , or you may make your own. Unless you store your sigs in a template, you must enter them each time.

Lastly, preview for errors, and once it is free of spelling/grammar/spacing and broken WritinggML tag errors, choose Public, and affiliate to the PDG Reviewers Group, submit. Grab the review #, post in the forum below.
