  (To join the group, please leave a membership request at our forum "Let's help each other grow!-Forum"  )Warmest wishes to all the members of "Let's help each other grow- Newbie Group" and members of WDC!"Let's help each other grow- Newbie Group" is back with its Raid for the season June-July. Unlike other times, this time we have tried to experiment with the concept of Review Raid and create something fun for everyone.So, without much fuss, let us check out the details of this raid. The June-July Raid of "Let's help each other grow- Newbie Group" will consist of three phases:Phase I : In this phase the group members would go on a hunt and ask their friends and acquaintances all around WDC to submit items (Items must be static items) to be reviewed in this forum. It is not necessary that WDC members know members of "Let's help each other grow- Newbie Group" to have their items put in this forum. All members of WDC are free to put in their requests to review. One author can submit a maximum of three items.However, it is desirable that the review requests are made for items which have not been reviewed in a long time. This raid is meant to throw light on those items around WDC portfolios which have not been dusted in a long while, both by the reviewers and the authors. This raid is a small effort on our part to recognize those items into which the authors have put in a lot of hard work, but have not received the expected feedback. This phase starts from the moment of posting of this forum to last second of the last hour of June 30th, 2012. Note for members: The items could be your own as well. Note to all: Items must be static items only. Phase II: This one is the general part of the raid, which will be a two day event, when the members would start to review. Each review will be credited based on its quality. And at the end of this phase, merit badges and raffle tickets would be sent out as usual. Merit badges would be given out in the following categories:  Best short story reviewer Best poetry reviewer Most insightful reviewerThe leaders reserve the right to give away any other prizes based on the quality of reviews made. (Time or raid to be specified after Phase I is over) Phase III : In this phase we have something for both the reviewers and the authors who have submitted the writings. This will continue for at least a week (detailed specifications to be made later) wherein the members of "Let's help each other grow- Newbie Group" are requested to vote for the item they found best. Please note, a member can not vote for his/her own item.The item that receives the maximum number of votes shall be chosen to be the winner, and will be graced with an awardicon. The members who have voted for the winning item would be awarded with gps (the amount will be determined by the availability of fund). So, there we go. From this moment on, the Jun-July mammoth Review Raid of "Let's help each other grow- Newbie Group" starts. We request all the members to participate actively in this raid and have fun, for it have something for both your and your friends. Members are also requested to spread a word about this to all their acquaintances which will promote the spirit of the group. All WDC members are also requested and welcome to submit any writing they want reviewed.
