Another month, another award... its as simple as that!

Welcome to another round of the Masters Awards

Every month, the crack team of Judges i have assembled (currently standing at 14 in total) scour the site for works that grab their attention and have that certian 'je ne sai quois' that makes the piece stand out more than those around it.

Post a {bitem:******} link in this forum and your item will be considered by a judge for a Masters Award. When using the {bitem:******} code, make sure you use the { brackets and not ( and where the *'s are, replace these with the item number that can be found in the title of the item or on the left hand side of the portfolio screen.

There is NO CHARGE to enter the awards, but sponsorship would be very welcome. All GP received would go to the Awards Group (Group number 325851) In sending the GP, please either send them to the group, or to myself FM - 1 Writer to rule them all , and get a mention on the sponsors roll of thanks {item:}

If you feel that you have read an item that is not yours but deserves recognition anyway, you can submit it as well... There is still no submission fee... but if it turns up as being the winning item, you stand to win a 2000 GP finders fee!!! And who knows, you might even get an invitation to join the Judges!

We would like to ask you to refrain from posting off topic (OT) posts in this forum and instead head along to "Masters Awards Chat forum"  to talk about the award... talk to the judges... or simply hang around.

A couple of other things to consider when posting is to place entries in seperate messages. This ensures that the judge who reads the message does not have an unequal workload to the others (it is not really fair if one message contains two or three items while others contain only one - especially if they are lengthy!).

Due to the lengths of some items, there is now a discretionary limit of 50kb. Items that are over this limit are not guaranteed a reading by a judge. But as i said, this is up to the judge that the work is assigned to.

There is now also a Roll of Honour where the previous winners have been recorded for all time



Finally, the closing date for the September round is September 20th. Entries posted after this point will not be accepted.
