Well, February is fast approaching, and with it, Valentine's Day.

So, with that in mind, here's the contest. Write a short story, no longer than 500 words, about love. It doesn't have to be romantic love, it can be love of any kind, but some sort of love must be central to the story. All genres and ratings will be accepted, but any story with a content rating higher than R must be entered as a bitem link. Other entries may be made as bitem links or entered directly in a posting in this forum.

Once again, there will be three size catagories, 1-100 words, 101-250 words, and 251-500 words.

There will also be three prize pools. These pools will start at 75,000 GPs each, with a division of:

1st place: 30,000
2nd place: 20,000
3rd place: 10,000
Honorable Mention Pool: 15,000

As usual, if there are not enough entries to give out the whole prize pool, then I will divide the unused portion among those entries submitted for that size catagory.

You may submit one entry for each length catagory, for a total of three entries maximum. However, until the contest closes, you are free to change which story you want to be your entry, I will not be looking at them until the time for the judging. You can edit links as you wish until that time.

Judging will be done by myself, and the deadline for entries is February 28th.
