  As quoted from the Publishers Weekly article, "Despite recession and war, the black book market seems to keep growing." The growing demand for books with African American themes, the increasing marketability of black-oriented movies, is reason enough to have a forum dedicated to African-American culture and the art of writing, but as artists we should consider more than money, shouldn't we?  I said, "SHOULDN'T WE?"
